Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
You decide to pick up the shield, thinking that Defence is better than Offence, Defence is the best Offence, whatever, you get the idea. Well, initially, nothing happens & you assume it is safe, so you move on, but your big, bulky Shield makes it difficult to see & you walk straight into a Pokemon. The Pokemon was unhappy & swiped at the shield, breaking it in an instant sending you hurtling back. As you crash into the hard, solid floor, the Pokemon advances & you get to see what it is for the first time. It was a Klang. The Klang was unhappy & got ready for the kill, but before it does so, you send out your Pokemon to your assistance. Klang thought this was unfair, so it calls out something & a Mawile comes along to assist. The Battle was on! Also, Mawile uses Intimidate as well, just for measure...
Arena Rules:
Only Sandstorm weather allowed, Something happens when Sandstorm is used. No Water Supply.
Luke: Close Combat (Mawile) ~ Dig (Mawile)
Swampert: Hammer Arm (Mawile) ~ Hammer Arm (Mawile)
Forky: Thunderbolt (Mawile) ~ Discharge (Mawile)
IF Mawile uses Protect successfully, everyone switch targets to Klang, unless he uses Protect successfully, in which case Pert uses Chill, Ton uses Magic Coat and Luke uses Heal Pulse on Magneton.
You being worried about Protect has costed you big time, as two crits in a row on Mawile was all it took for Ares to fall, thanks to Metal Burst, followed by a Klang Thunderbolt. You do kill Mawile, but there is shrapnel running amok as you send in Nestor...Issue your actions.

END CAPTURE ROUND
Upon leaving the Iron Maiden, you go through...well...more staircases & at the end of it all, you come across a forest. This forest is the oddest structure you've ever seen. No, it's not the fact you're looking at a bunch of trees and grass in the middle of what to this point has been a bland, lifeless dungeon. It's more the fact that every single trunk, branch, and blade is made out of solid steel. It's still flexible enough for some semblance of wind to impact it, but otherwise this is the oddest combination of nature and hard metal you've ever seen.
Over to the side you see a thorny patch of grass blocking the way to the exit on the other side. It appears to be a nest of some sort, but the only other way around requires you to go through densely packed trees. Neither path looks safe, and as you look around you can here the inhabitants of the area swarming around you. Time to make a decision. So, which route do you go through?
a) Go through the thorny briar.
b) Go through the dense woods.
I gave you the chance...Meh...Request granted, also, the flavour was admittedly mostly c/ped from the data group...
ATHENODOROS
Iron Dungeon - Steel Forest
Ignoring the thorny briar, you go through the dense woods, and everything appears alright for a little while. As you are about to reach the end, you get ambushed, and Bertha is ambushed by Scizor. It grabs them in its claws and whisks them away into the forest. It will take you two rounds to find your lost Pokemon in the thickets. Scizor makes it even more difficult to reach its location by summoning Rain Dance. Looks like your Pokemon is on its own. Can you save your Pokemon? Let's see...

Well that was cool. I guess we just go back to the old favourite:
Protect ~ Thunderbolt ~ Protect
If he uses Light Screen, use Thunderbolt and move only action one along.
If he uses Double Team, use Thunderbolt ~ Discharge, unless he is fp'd, in which case just go as with the above sub.
Oh, and what are the new rounding rules? I can't see any change, or any reason for one.
E: New threads I see. I wish I were back at a computer to type up tl;dr posts about it.
All I can say about the new rounding rules is this: I do not like the direction CAP ASB has been taken in.

After leaving the forest, you make your way through the endless climbing upwards, you see one thing worthy of note: Light! Sweet, fresh light at the end of the tunnel! So you run towards it, & you find yourself outside...again! What you come across, however, is a staircase that runs along the outside of the large steel tower. You find that there are no rails and that the wind is whipping dangerously. Carefully, you maneuver slowly around the stairs to try to avoid falling, but just then, two Skarmory soar past and begin making a round to attack you!
You can either stand on this precarious perch and face the Skarmory, or you can rush your way across and suffer whatever attacks the Skarmory try to inflict. What will you do?
a) Rush across the stairs to the end
b) Attack the Skarmory!
You rush across the stairway to the end as quick as you can, but as you do so, the Skarmory peck at and attack at you! In order to protect you, your Pokemon emerge from their Poke Balls on their own and try to keep you safe as you run. Because of their bravery, you emerge mostly uninjured, but your active Pokemon each suffered 10 damage and 10 energy loss from the brief encounter. It could be worse, right? You continue on your way to the Iron Cage.
Iron Dungeon - Iron Cage
So, as you re-enter the tower, you come across the steepest staircases, far more gruelling than ever before, & enough ot make you feel exhausted, but as you mount a staircase, you see more light, so you hike your way up & you find yourself at the roof of the Iron Dungeon. Is this it, you think...But it isn't. You find a hole on the other side of the roof, but it looks dangerous, & it's very windy, so while you think it's a good time to admire the view, it's not a good time to do so. So cautiously you make your way down a hole & fall down...A long way...You crash land & find yourself in a place loaded to the gills with...shrapnel. This is the pit of the desolate dungeon surrounded by what appears to be a junkyard of broken machine parts. Shrapnel is littered around the room in a disgusting, decrepit clutter. The entire room has a dingy quality to it, despite having all the pretense of a regal palace. What isn't covered in junk shines with an unnatural sheen, polished beyond all reason. Most unfathomable is a giant thrown in the background that has all the markings of a machine, complete with gear prints, and sitting on the thrown is an iron king whose weapon of choice appears to be vicious claws. Whatever the case may be, he doesn't look honourable, but is clearly wealthy beyond imagine, for in his parlour lies a stone on a pedestal that exactly matches the stone in the mosaic at the entrance.
You grab the item and obtain the Steel Pearl.
A ghastly mechanical screech follows, and the statue of the king stands up and glares menacingly. He approaches with immense, clanging steps. As he stands before you, a giant weights fall, sealing the doors. The Kings entire body starts evaporating into a sickening iron shrapnel, and before you the king transforms into a Registeel. Registeel gives a cry and all of the junk accumulated in the room arises and starts whirlwing about. Chunks of it hit your skin and start ripping the edges of your clothes... This is not going well...Worst yet, a Bastiodon decides to join the party as well to help out Registeel. The final battle. Everything you've done up to now has all come down to this. Can you win? Let the battle begin.
Arena Rules:
-Constant, unalterable Shrapnel Weather. Shrapnel weather does 3 DPA to every non-Steel type, and adjusts for type. Types resistant to Steel will take 2DPA, types weak to Steel will take 4 DPA. Sandstorm or Hail can be added to Shrapnel, but will not override it.
-Strong magnetic field disables Magnet Pull abilities and prevents Pokemon other than Registeel from using Magnet Rise.
-All of the junk makes Steel-types more focused, increasing their accuracy by 10 (flat).
-Item cannot be removed from boss, however it can be Embargoed or Magic Roomed.
-No External Water Source, or Natural Grass.
-Indoor Arena.
-Arena Floor is too hard to dig into.
I know I run afoul of this every TLR I do, but surely I get a chance to use items between the last RP and the boss battle. I'm sure I would get to if I had battled the Skarmory. So:
If I can use items: Revive and EBelt on Lucario and Magnet on Magneton. Then, Super Potion on Slowing and Potion on Lucario, who is not subbed in anyway. Ether used on Swampert.
Either way, I'll edit in actions when I've worked them out.
Normally, I never allow such a thing to happen, & you should know this from your first TLR, because "you never know what's going to happen next". I'll allow it THIS time, but in the future, you will not get such an opportunity from me. I'll edit in everything later, & in the meantime, just issue your actions. Thank you.
EDIT: Changed. Next time, be more prepared.
DOUBLE EDIT:
Athenodoros said:
I know that you should know what is happening, but it just seems wrong that only the last battle doesn't allow you to heal afterwards, especially given it I'd the most crucial time of the whole TLR. You can for every other one, after all. Anyway:
