Before you could have a chance to recover, the battle was suddenly over as the last Tynamo simply exhausted itself with one final Spark that... missed everything... Yeah, the battle is over without any further damage done or lost.
Following the battle, you count your losses before moving deeper into the cove...
Moral of the story: Never try to recover against three Tynamo.
Once you get through the maw, you find a large underground cave that appears to be a dead end. The area's rocky surface drops into what appears to be a very shallow lake, insufficient for swimming. You turn to your guide, who disappears in a flash of light. The guide's form is gone, but you hear another voice.
"You have been chosen to undergo the test. I hope you have prepared well - the Guardians of this cove are a crafty duo. Do not think mere force alone will be sufficient. They will wait calmly and exploit any flaws in your strategy. Pass this trial, & have a chance at something truly amazing."

Anyhow, in a round of slaughter, Gandalf & Leoglas batter the Eelektrik with jets of water, as Metang psychs itself up, copying the boosts Eelektrik had. The guards suddenly became a lot more scary. Eelektrik then batters the Nincada with a powerful aquatic assault from his tail. That hurt. Nincada then responds with a desperate attack, hurling lots of mud at the Eelektrik, making is already super sharp vision only mildly sharp. Metang then abused its newfound power by battering the field with a quick-fire tremor that dealt lots of damage to your team. Then Gandalf & Leoglas combined to swamp the team with a massive tidal wave that took out your Nincada & the wild Eelektrik. The Metang just laughed from the safety of its substitute & came into play as it was washed away. It looks like it is ready to rip your team apart. With four weakened Pokémon left & no Revive, what can you do to save yourself now?
