You decide that it's not worth you or your Pokemons' time and effort to get through the ice. You would've likely been attacked by something terrible anyway had you spent the time here. Hurriedly, you move your Pokemon on their way with you and travel into the next chamber.
Ice Spire Frozen Hall
The Frozen Hall is a hollowed out room shaped like a sphere. Gigantic icicles stretch from the floor to the ceiling, up about 25 feet. A frozen draft blows through the room, and as you continue through the snow gets stronger. You get the distinct feeling of being watched. Buried under the snow is a glimmering object that could be valuable. This part of the ice also seems to have some obsidian shards sticking out nearby, an odd feature for such a place, but who knows who has traversed the area? Do you place your hand in the snow?

Sensing a trap, you lead your Pokemon around the Fresh Water and the odd pedestal. As soon as you skirt the potential trap, you see the exit and make a break for it. Unfortunately, life in the Petrified Forest is not as still as you made it out to be. The tree next to the pedestal suddenly comes to life and springs out in front of you, blocking the exit. One of the rock piles on the side of the forest also stirs, and floats over to your location. It seems that you're going to have to defeat these two Pokemon in order to move on.
They await your moves.

Jellicent: Hydro Pump Bolderdash-Scald Bolderdash. If Bolderdash dies redirect to Sudowoodo, unless Sudowoodo is Protecting, in which case Substitute (20).
Torterra: Giga Drain Bolderdash-Wood Hammer Bolderdash. If Bolderdash dies, redirect to Sudowoodo, unless Sudowoodo is Protecting, in which case Synthesis.
You scrape away part of the snow, revealing a tinderbox. You open it carefully to find
Aspear Berries (5), much to your delight. You continue scraping the ice and snow away in an effort to find more of these boxes; unfortunately, you don't, but you do see that the obsidian shards that you saw earlier are actually in the shape of horns... suddenly, the obsidian horns rise up from the ice, revealing what seems to be a monster encased in an armor if ice! It seems that whatever trap it attempted to spring failed, but it is still imposing nevertheless. As if to make matters worse, a blue feline creature leaps in gracefully, snarling viciously at your team!
Introductions aside, they continue to glare at your Pokemon, awaiting their moves.

With your new Glaceon happily tagging along with your team, you continue making your way deeper into the treacherous tower.
As you continue through the area you come to a frozen forest. You feel like you're in luck, as you look around you can see several Yache Berries
[x4] hanging from trees. Given how cold this area is, it seems only natural to you that a berry that resists Ice would grow in such an inhospitable place. It seems doubtless that these berries would help you in your future endeavors, but you're a bit wary of plucking berries from the local environment...
Player Options
a) go for the four berries
b) avoid them and continue
You give the Yache Berry tree a wide berth as you skirt around the forest, eager to find your way out. You hear a rustling sound behind you, and you turn around to find... nothing. It seems to have been a relatively close call. Cautious, you and your Pokemon forge onwards.
Ice Spire Black (and White) Ice
You come to the most peculiar area you've seen yet. It's gotten even colder, such that all the color seems to have faded from every object. Half of this barren place is white, and the other half black. You continue down a corridor until you reach a dead end. You find yourself lost, and your reflection shows in each mirror. Each one beckons you forward, with three lights shining around you.
With a shudder, you examine the two mirrors closely. They seem identical, with the obvious exception of their hues; it seems that one mirror is as good as the other.
Player Options
a) travel towards the white mirror
b) travel towards the black mirror
blegh, i hate mirror mazes........whoever made this dam things an asshole, i guess ill start wondering towards the white side since that just seems safer, all the while dubbing the new Glaceon Vonuath
The white mirror engulfs you, and you come face to face with a Jynx. You can't tell where anything is, and as you prepare to fight it, it slows down the entire space with an Icy Wind. All your Pokemon except for Glaceon are frozen in place; it seems like his natural resilience to Ice helped out in this case. Looks like your Pokemon is on its own, at least for the next two rounds. Jynx plots maniacally...
