Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
You quickly empty out your medicine pocket to try and patch up your team. Satisfied in your work, you quickly move to exit the iron coated hollow. However, as you reach the beginning of a new tunnel you notice a discarded chunk of iron sitting beside the exit. You carefully pick up the metal and decide that it could easily serve as a Metal Coat for one of your pokemon. You shove the coat into your bag and start down yet another dim tunnel to continue your quest.
After walking for another couple of hours, you notice a strange light further on in the tunnel, after a little more traveling you notice that the tunnel once again opens up into an outside path. Since you have been travelling so long, it has turned night out and you can see millions of Twinkling stars painting the sky above you. You notice a path going up a small ways that leads out from the cliff, it could be a nice spot to relax for a minute, since it looks like your nearing the peak of the spire. Or you could just follow the trail that your on leading back into the crag again to be on your way. What do you do?
a) approach the edge of the Vista
b) stay close to the wall and move on
c) wait and see what happens.

As you walk up to the edge of the vista, your hopes for a quick reprieve are shattered as a small blue tentacle whips out from over the side of the cliff and wraps around your Roggenrola! The tentacle quickly pulls him over the edge and you worry that your new pokemon has plummeted to its death when you hear a large splash just a little ways down the cliff side. You peer over the side and see that there is a small cliff with a little pond on it. While the Roggenrola attempts to pull itself out of the water the Omastar loosens its shell armor before jumping into the water and creating a large whirlpool around your mon. You can see a path down to the cliff but it looks like it will take you 2 rounds before you and you other pokemon will be able to assist your roggenrola, and the poor thing looks defeated already.

Miracle Seed
The sheer roughness of the terrain in this dark lair is impressive enough, it feels like an impassable object just looking at it. The overwhelmingly jagged terrain takes your every once of will to navigate, but eventually you come into an upper chamber that has all the appearances of a throne room. Jagged rocks loom ominously at the corners of the sphere. A pedestal stands alone in the center of the room in front of a massive stone throne with a massive statue sitting in it. It has a stone shaped exactly like the one in the mosaic in at the entrance.
You grab the item and obtain the Rock Ruby
All of a sudden the room shakes violently, and the statue comes to life! It's facial features and details crumble away, revealing an angry Regirock. The pieces that before were so fine now disintegrate into a dust. That isn't the end of them, unfortunately, as Regirock cries out and the entire room's soil seems to be blown apart and thrown around into a massive Sandstorm. You can barely hear it, but a rock crashes behind you, sealing you inside. Regirock stands firm, daring you to attack it.
Stealth Rock in effect on challengers for the duration of the battle. It cannot be removed by Rapid Spin.
Constant, unalterable Sandstorm.
Fly and Bounce cannot gain enough altitude to evade.
Regirock's attacks do not calculate evasive abilities.
Item cannot be removed from boss, but can be Embargoed or Magic Roomed.

Finally recognizing that this trip may have been a little more than you could handle, you grit your teeth and quickly shout orders to your haggard pokemon. Before your pokemon can act, the Regirock and Rhyperior notice the Rock Ruby in your possession, they both raise their heads to the ceiling and let our an earth-shattering roar that rocks the entire chamber. Your Conkeldurr however keeps his cool long enough to quickly dash forward in the middle of this spectacle launch a lightning quick jab into the mighty legends torso, stealing the roar from its lips and bringing a look of shock to the Rhyperior's face.
However the moment is short-lived as Conkeldurr falls on in exhaustion unable to take the fight any farther than that, the previous trials of the crag have proven too much for him. Necturna quickly realizes that if it's going to stand any chance of surviving this fight it's going to need maintain itself, so it quickly fires a thing strand of glowing red energy at the Rhyperior. The Rhyperior, quickly recognizes the Giga Drain attack and attempts to burrow out of the way of the hit, but doesn't manage to clear the rock at its feet quickly enough and as the small ray connects with him he is suddenly engulfed in a sickly red light as the attack causes its life energy to crackle along the line back to the Necturna, restoring it. Your newly acquired Armaldo attempts to follow up the beam with a vicious tail swipe, but the Rhyperior was still on its way underground and manages to escape before the attack can land. As you do battle with its minion, the Regirock quietly surveys the fight, however a sudden gleam in the golem's eye is the only warning your given before it brings its might hands up and crashes them into the floor of the room, causing boulders to fall from the ceiling on your pokemon. They manage to shrug off the rocks for now, but you fear for their health if such an assault continues.
The burrowing foe begins churning the rock floor around Armaldo's feet, causing the poor thing to panic and begin swatting the ground with its tail. However, your Necturna notices the churning and, assuming an attack that it can disrupt, takes aim and creates a swirling vortex of leaves that it channels over to the Armaldo, which gently swirl around it without much effect. However as a horn begins to pop out of the dirt, the Necturna abruptly begins glowing green as it releases the power of the attack and the leaves begin to assume the same glow and bombard the ground where the horn is protruding. Unfortunately, the horn poking up was a clever ruse, and in the same second that the horn appeared and the attack was released, the horn disappeared back into the crag, completely foiling the powerful attack. Necturna looks upon the situation in exasperation as she tries to catch her breath from the unrestrained attack. Even more unfortunately for the Armaldo, the Rhyperior follows through with its attack only seconds after the leaves had dispersed, exploding up from the pockmarked floor, launching itself into a flying headbutt that collides with the Armaldos side, driving it back.
The enraged Armaldo, however, had a target now, and it promptly spun around into a massive tail-slap that connected with the Rhyperior's chest, driving it back even farther than the Rhyperior could push its foe back! However as your Armaldo quickly squares itself off to stand toe-to-toe with the newly humbled opponent, the entire show of hope is brought to a crushing halt as another barrage of rocks is loosed from the ceiling. The bulk of the rocks land on the poor Armaldo, bringing it to the ground, where it remained, unable to continue fighting. The titanic foe burst into hideous grating laughter at the sight of another downed foe, its Rock Slide doing its job this time. You glance around the room, and seeing no other options, release your Vaporeon to assist your weakened Necturna, staring grimly at the scene around you, attempting to form a plan.
