IF Farfetch'd is under the effects of a successful P/E move when you would act, use Hone Claws that action instead and push back.
As the battle begins, both competitors send out their Pokemon-- and both choose their avian companions. Wasting no time, Galarian Farfetch'd lunges at its enemy, striking with its leek to deliver a boulder-shattering blow; however, it seems more suited to busting pebbles, given that it glanced off of Rookidee's impressive feathers. In retaliation, Rookidee lifts into the air, spinning with increasing velocity as it approaches Farfetch'd, and rams its beak into the duck's torso. Farfetch'd attacks again, this time with the intention to break something more metropolitan, but Rookidee's body continues to dampen the impact, and Farfetch'd is left vulnerable as Rookidee attempts to remove bits of its flesh with a quick pluck. Frustrated, Farfetch'd swings its leek with a burning desire to obliterate the pesky blue fledgling, but fails yet again to inflict noticeable damage. Once more, this allows Rookidee to counter with a spinning stab, sending waves of pain throughout the duck's body. LucarioOfLegends is now at a slight disadvantage, but such a small deficit this early into a match has rarely been known to hold. Stay tuned!

Rookidee charges Farfetch'd, stabbing the duck with a spinning assault. Pained by this blow, Farfetch'd attempts to retaliate by striking at Rookidee's feet, but the chick's unladen state hinders the effectiveness of this tactic. Rookidee then removes its beak from Farfetch'd's body, attempting to remove flesh and viscera as it repeatedly thrusts its sharp weapon into the duck. Farfetch'd slams desperately into Rookidee, vainly struggling to repel its attacker, but its efforts can not dissuade the bird for long; after rearing back into the air, Rookidee plummets toward Farfetch'd, spinning with incredible velocity, and buries its beak into its opponent's shoulder, causing immense pain as it twists and rips its way through and pins Farfetch'd to the ground. Unable to withstand these conditions, Farfetch'd loosens its grip on its leak, letting the instrument roll out of its wing as the duck slumps its head and loses consciousness.

Seemingly nonchalant after Farfetch'd's failure, LucarioOfLegends throws a second PokeBall, summoning Rotom to the arena. Without missing a beat, it discharges a reserve of static energy, bombarding Rookidee with high-voltage waves. Despite its great shock, Rookidee is determined not to show its pain, and instead lands onto the floor so that it can strut back and forth in a show of defiance, bobbing its head as it prances around with exaggerated bravado. Unable to comprehend these movements, Rotom is taken in by Rookidee's rhythm and attempts to imitate it, but in its disarray it trips and injures itself instead of attacking. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Rookidee takes flight, glowing with energy as plumes of wind and steam billow away from its small form. Rookidee then smashes into Rotom, colliding with enough force to injure itself in the process, but Rotom's incorporeal body is hardly bothered by this form of attack. Amidst the chaos, Rotom manages to launch a weak electric bolt, a relatively focused current that immediately arcs to find its target, knocking Rookidee from the air and leaving its slightly smoldering body unconscious in front of P2X7.

Quick as a flash, P2 replaces his Pokemon, calling forth the spectral rock from its Pokeball. Upon seeing its foe change, Rotom regains its composure and immediately emits a weak current, numbing Corsola's body. However, Corsola acts fluidly, projecting a weak maleficent aura to scare the life out of Rotom. Not to be outdone, Rotom displays its own frightening images, shaking Corsola's very foundation as phantom beasts pierce its body with evil red stares. Freezing no longer, Corsola locks eyes with Rotom and shoots a nearly invisible thin red laser, striking Rotom's forehead and dissipating into its skull. Rotom attempts to continue its psychological onslaught, but it finds itself incapable of remembering the technique -- let alone producing the attack. In a state of panic and disbelief, Rotom chokes, flinging its body wildly toward Corsola and providing its opponent with a prime counterattack, which comes in the form of a second evil wave and buffets the struggling poltergeist.
