The Madness of SpecsLuke

This an RMT Ive created long time ago, it was posted in the Pokecommunity S&M before ,and I post it here since Pokecommunity S&M havent helped me on this team that much so I decided to put it up in smogon. anyways this is my team :

Aerodactyl @Focus Sash
Nature : Jolly
Ability : Pressure
EVs : 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spe
-Stealth Rock
-Taunt
-Stone Edge / Rock Slide
-Earthquake

Aero is interesting, it can screw Azelf with Taunt , Setting Up SR . nothing more to say here ...

Lucario @ Choice Specs
Nature : Timid
Ability : Inner Focus
EVs : 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
-Aura Sphere
-Shadow Ball
-Hidden Power Ice
-Vacuum Wave

My Unexpected Beast is here to wreack havoc in the metagame, its Aura Sphere is so deadly and it can destroy Skarmory that thinks it is SDLuke , Shadow ball deals with ghosts and psychics and combining it with Aura Sphere hits everything for at least neutral damage . Hidden Power Ice dispatches Mence and Gliscor , and Vacuum Wave is used for Revenge Killing .

Salamence @ Leftovers
Nature : Adamant
Ability : Intimidate
EVs : 84 HP / 252 Atk / 172 Spe
-Dragon Dance
-Dragon Claw
-Earthquake
-Fire Fang / Stone Edge

DD Mence, I Altered the EVs to make it Bulky , I prefered Dragon Claw over Outrage because I hate being Locked in Outrage and the Confusion , Earthquake to deal with Tran and Jolteon , Fire Fang to 2HKO Skarmory and Bronzong after a DD , and OHKO Forretress and Scizor .

the EVs Allows Mence to have more Bulk and to Outspeed Tran after a DD .

Infernape @ Choice Scarf
Nature : Naive
Ability : Blaze
EVs : 64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
-Close Combat
-Flamethrower
-Grass Knot
-ThunderPunch

ScarfApe is really Interesting , with only 192 Spe EV , it hits at 495 with Scarf and it outruns Scarf Jirachi , the main move it has is Close Combat , Flamethrower is its Secondary STAB and it can KO Jirachi with it , Grass Knot hits Swampert , and ThunderPunch is there to Revenge Kill DDed Gyara .

64 Atk is enough to KO Gyara with ThunderPunch , 252 SpA for maximizing the power of Flamethrower , 192 Spe was mentioned from the beginning

Rotom-h @ Light Clay
Nature : Bold
Ability : Levitate
EVs : 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SpD
-Reflect
-Light Screen
-Discharge
-Overheat

this oven supports the team very well, it can block Brick Break so it has no troubles on setting up dual screens, people will be scared from this thing thinking that it is Scarfed , they will force their Gyara to switch and not to DD. Discharge's 30% chance of Paralyzing was appealing so its there , Overheat booms at Steels .

EVs in Defense and Sp.Defense to balance Rotom's Defensive stats

2hyaps1.png

Scizor @ Leftovers
Nature : Adamant
Ability : Technician
EVs : 200 HP / 252 Atk / 56 Spe
-Swords Dance
-Bullet Punch
-Brick Break
-Bug Bite

The Last but not Least , my Bulky SD Scizor. its +2 Bullet Punch hits hard to lots of things , Brick Break Over Superpower for breaking screens and to kill the opposing Scizor that already used its Superpower , Bug Bite with STAB and Technician is a new Addition from HG/SS that really hits hard ( even harder than X-Scissor ) , as well as eating berries to gain their effect and use it as an advantage for battling .

56 Spe EV to outspeed 0 Spe TTar and Metagross .

thats my team, hope you like it ^_^

hello

I have some suggestions:

- IMO Rock Slide is better on Aerodactyl. Mostly because it has better acc. and pp, besides it also has a chance to flinch your opponent wich alows you to kill them with loosing your sash.

- You could try for hidden power rock instead of hidden power ice since it will still OHKO Salamence en Gyarados, it is however a 2 HKO on Gliscor. Although you have Rotom for Gyarados, and ape if he gets a free switch-in, gyara is still a major switch-in for Lucario so instead of letting your Rotom take some hits you could just kill it on the switch-in. I also suggest a modest nature (instead) of a timid nature, because Lucario mostly gets his kills from switch-ins the extra power is appreciated more then the speed boost. Besides with a modest nature vaccuum wave deal 98% to opposing Lucario (OHKO with Stealth Rock) while they have to relay on Close Combat as Extreme would do much when unboosted.

- You have to hit Scizor on the switch because Bullet Punch will kill Salamence (after SR). Maybe Fire Blast is a better option here so that you don't need to set up so Fire Fang deals enough damage. You can put your HP EV's into SAtk if you choose for Fire Blast.

- I don't really see what Scizor is doing for your team. I suggest replacing him with a Magnezone. Magnezone will work perfectly with Salamence, as mence will lure out Scizor trying to Bullet Punch, this allows you to set up with Zone. You can do the same strategy with Rotom when Scizor is using Pursuit (after you already used Overheat) although this is less common.

i_magnezone.gif

Magnezone @ leftovers/ modest/ magnet pull
172 HP, 252 SAtk, 84 Spe

- substitute
- magnet rise
- hidden power grass/ ice
- thunderbolt

--> Although you can use a scarfed zone to, I believe a sub version is better. simple because Magnezone could easily get rid of the likes of Scizor without loosing the sub. This way you don't have to switch out after Scizor is taken out and you can do some damage to the incoming poke.

Hope I helped!

EDIT: I agree with Reaver. U-turn on Ape will replace the U-turn lost from Scizor. Hidden Power grass will then be the suggested option Magnezone.

Scarf Infernape really likes to U-turn on Latias switch ins, and she is generally the #1 switch in on Infernape. I'd drop Grass Knot for it personally, Swampert can be easily worn down, especially when he switches into a Specs Luc Aura Sphere when expecting a SD or Close Combat.

And if you take BlackScizors suggestion U-turn on Ape will still allow you to scout your opponents team.

Thanks for the help everyone. I will test Modest on SpecsLuke and definetely give U-Turn to Scarfape over Grass Knot.

going to test Magnezone as well seeing how it works well with mence.

i would second what reaver said in changing grass knot on infernape to u turn. I would also suggest flame thrower to overheat. Scarved nape is a hit and run power, and with overheat doing over 40% more damage than flamethrower i tihnk overheat fits better.

Hi.

Your descriptions are lacking, and this is being closed under rule 3.

If you fix them and PM them to me I will gladly reopen this.
