day 1 rvs/shitposting doesn't really mean anything to me, even if I put in the effort to make a list of reads like you or ms it would probably look completely different by the end of the phase because the stuff people say here is mostly garbage

your koc points are alright I guess coming from the perspective that koc is someone that is anxious/self conscious as scum? idk him well enough to know if this is true
 
as a preface to this post i think its nessecary in this game for us all to provide reasoning as to why reads are going out. in a normal game where theres players with more defined tells and contrasting scum / town games its a lot easier to throw out 'x is town' as an experienced player and people will take your read for it but in this game where (myself at least) respects the majority of the PL ability to play a good scum game saying 'yo x is never lynch townlock slot' isnt gonna really cut it

#507 Josh why is proph a locktown slot, looking for further elaboration here. the only truly memorable thing i remember form that slot at this point of my read is downplaying their scumgame.... lolz

the next relevant series of posts from #524 onwards is revolving around the fruit vendor discussion. i dont really care one way or another if a fruit vendor does claim but theres one major caveat to josh strategy that makes me think that even if this fruit vendor did claim, josh logic for as to why theyre town doesnt hold here. texas may have said that 'scum fruit vendor is moronic' (i wouldnt trust any logs stating this anyway, considering smogon is probably the premier mafia community for faking longs) but more important than this is that we dont actually know who designed this game. we dont have any confirmation that it was designed by texas and as such the alignemet of such role if one did exist isnt close to a certainity if given that josh scneario were to be true if texas deisnged game (sorry for word soup but i think that gets the point across??). im not really reading into the exchange further than that but id imagine everyone itg has seen those posts by now so even if there is a fruit vendor they have chosen not to claim at this junction anyway but yeah. the major thing i pulled from this interaction is that josh + ms are both likely town? i dont see scum getting into a major spatting match that draws so much attention onto their slot this early into d1 - traditionally i see this sort of emotional investment coming from a town slot this early rather then scum. josh can comment on my thoughts on this if he likes and correct any misinterpreation i had but thats just how im seeing the fruit vendor = town thing atm

#684 empoof those posts seem fine now that youve collected them but dont make me tr knights by any means..... i think theyre still sitting in scum territory as far as it goes for me in that i havent seen them really make a case at this point, just really prodding relatively inactive posters and lots of say nothing posts

i dont really like twins slot at this point but #690 trs myself + empoof and follows onto my koc sr..... maybe im getting buddied. maybe we're on the same train of thought. who knows

i don't have a problem with josh atm? i think that him wanting FV to claim doesn't come f rom scum perspective of PR hunting (and ruling out what town might be a better role than nullboi) and i'm not even sure how he'd know there's a FV itg if he's scum, is he just guessing?

The rest aren’t specific scumtells for josh, those are general scumtells that I will apply to every player, including all of you. I know josh better than most of this playerlist, granted, but we’re not twins or best friends for 10 years or whatever, I can’t go “josh did X he is scum”, and anyway a good player of his caliber wouldn’t have a weakness so easy to spot anyway.

that post formatted horribly, the lines at the end are meant to be further away from the names and the ^ was an up arrow and the v was a down arrow it honestly looked pretty good in preview
 
I don't check notifications, there's a million of them constantly for this game so I just read the thread and click on alerts to make it go away, however I'm an ADHD child so sometimes I miss things :^)

okay but real talk on Twin he's been playing dota all day and idk if he's avoiding the game thread or what

asek is probably the towniest player so far imo, I was scum with him once in a NOC and I feel like he's being more proactive here. I might be pocketing myself here since I like his playstyle most so far :blobthinking:

I wanted to say that although I’m townreading asek too, he did almost win as scum in nomination mafia, so he isn’t useless as scum, in fact p capable, so yeah, just take note

i played scumgame with pblade on mu and a towngamw with them here. their posts today are much more in line with their town game thus far then the scum one. ive generally agreed with what theyve been posting as well, especially r.e fruit vendor

Cool Paperblade in that Waifu Wars game was a lot more flat and, for lack of a better word, whiny. Lots of semi-pointless questions and responses that just tonally feel on edge.
