I ignored evasion because I don't considered it part of the metagame at all. Freeze was my choice, mainly because it's something that you just can't prepare for. For sleep and other status you have your rest-talkers, but you never know when a random ice beam getting stabbed around is going to freeze you. You switch your t-tar into a Cres to pursuit the god damn thing, and the ice beam you switch in on freezes you and completely turns the tide of the game.

I would feel like such a fucking loser if I ever used a BrightPowderChomp. I'd probably throw myself off a bridge.

I'd also be really curios to find out why two people voted for all stats boosted at once. Sounds like some hilarity is involved there.

Easily flinch and para for me.

Kiss always gets off at least 3 flinches in a row vs me and when my poke is paralyzed, it takes 4 turns for it to actually do soemthing, as it always gets fully paralyzed.

Well moves missing, not under foe's certain evasion increase, is accuracy, and when you put focus blast on stuff like Gengar, you know you have a 70% chance of hitting, besides even semi-bad accuracy moves can be useful, I mean stuff like Fire Blast/Hydro Pump can be used to OHKO or 2KO things, while FT/Surf fails to do that, and Sing on Blissey is good, because she's bulky, and it can help you counter things/cripple them.

There's no accuaracy option, so I assumed missed is under evasion.

evasion hands down, and i don't mean stuff like focus blast. crits are annoying, but not as mcuh as trying to ice shard a garchomp, missing and being swept for it.

Evasion hax for sure

It's really annoying when you're fighting something like Garchomp and miss. It's even more annoying to miss with something almost 100% accurate like ice fang or leech seed <.<

OHKO moves, but only when they hit, because they are really inaccurate.

It fucking pisses me off when people say Evasion. How else do you protect a Ninjask with 61 HP, 50 SpD, and 45 Def? It also pissed me off when people say "Sand Veil Garchomp, with Sandstorm, @Bright Powder", because accuracy and evasion is a stat. What is the use of having them if they are not played around with? Use moves that never miss. They may not be powerful, but that is why you have stat - boosting moves, like calm mind for shock wave, etc. Oh, and none of us here are stupid, we know that 100 accuracy does not mean 100% hit, that is when accuracy is displayed as: --

I voted for Quick Claw, mainly because you never know when it will activate. At least if you're facing a double teamer in the BT, you know you have a good chance of missing, but when you are about to win the game and quick claw saves the opponent and allows them to win, you get even more pissed off.

Evasion is definitely annoying, but if you think about it, it's really only Sand Viel that's the problem.. mainly Garchmop with Substitute. Double team isn't even allowed in competitive play, so what's the problem?

I find Sleep/Freeze to be the most irritating thing in the game. The new 1 turn sleep thing that DP introduced drives me nuts. And when a pokemon is frozen, it's pretty much dead if you think about it. I'd think anyone would rather be paralyzed/toxic/burned than frozen.

I voted for the quick claw. It is the primary reason that I will never play the battle tower again. I have only got past Palmer (at match 49) only one time, and every time before that was from some freak hax incident. I got through one time, and did very well the next 3 sets of matches.
Then, on match 71, I lost . I opened with Metagross, and I faced a LickyLicky. I had Cresselia on bench, but knowing that my Metagross would be faster, able to take an earthquake from it that would only 3HKO it, and two chances from Metor Mesh to get an attack increase, I left him in. Meteor Mesh did take about 75%, and I got an attack raise, and as I predicted, earthquake only took about 40% health. Then, he got the QUICK CLAW and went first. At first, no big deal, but in addition, it was a CRITICAL HIT!!! So I send out Cresselia. Used ice beam, and it got him down to just a couple hit points. Then, he used Explosion and killed it in one hit!! (I was very surprised, Cresselia has max HP and Defense in IV's AND EV's!) Then to wrap it all up, Blissey was faced against a Whiscash. He used Fissure, and hit right away!!! 70 win streak ended...

I may have suffered the triple whammy from a quick claw, critical hit (which came WITH the quick claw), and a OHKO, but if it wasn't for the quick claw, none of this would of happened!

I think the only thing more annoying playing random on PBR w/ a "just for lulz" team than facing Sandveil'd Garchomp is having it critical hit your Defensive Wall out of the game as you're about to knock it out.

However, the only time Crits are really annoying is on PBR, when you have 3 Pokemon, so one Pokemon-ending critical is very likely to be a match ender. Sand Veil hacks not only combine a format centralizing team combination, but also make an already incredibly unbalanced Pokemon even more unbalanced.

Paralysis because it is the only one that gives me the most problems, and has actually determined if I won or loss in a game. Stupid full paralysis and speed drop...

Freeze. It's the ONLY status that has to be caused indirectly (ex. by an Ice attack, and not something like Toxic or Will-o-Wisp), so while you can predict an attempt at any other status and switch to an appropriate counter, there's no way to really avoid freeze except to switch in your ice resist and hope it won't get frozen.

Yes, I know that Ice-types cannot be frozen, but switching in an Ice-type EVERY time you expect an Ice attack is a bit much, don't you think?

EDIT: Try having Hippowdon, Tyranitar, and Jirachi frozen on three consecutive turns by an Ice Beam Blissey. Serene Grace, more like Serene Gay.

What about burn from some fire attacks and paralysis from electric attacks??

Those are equally as annoying when they happen, but for the most part not as crippling.

And don't get me started on Serene Grace Air Slash...

wow, many of you guys still consider the evasion as a mayor problem,is reasonable because many teams uses garchomp, but i can tell you that evasion was a LOT more annoying in the past, when the evasion clause wasnt activated in all the battles, the DT pokes were a common theme for the teams, i didnt like the lack of strategy, only depending in luck for win the battles, but i lost so many times due to DT teams in the netbattle that i created one myself, DT passer umbreon and DT raikou with other 4 support pokes, i used it occasionally and i can tell you i won a lot of battles, also when i used it disconnecting happened a lot lol. So evasion clause is the best clause for the metagame in my opinion, it forces players to create more strategic teams, not lucky teams.

I think by "evasion" they just mean "moves missing." I had a Tyranitar sweep completely shut down because I missed a Rock Slide.
