With the verdict of the Roaring Moon suspect test still in the air, and after a long generation of tiering action, the council believes now is the perfect time for a radical change. From weekly requests in the metagame discussion thread to free Lugia to posts asking to ban Choice Scarf, the OU community has shown its unmatched diversity in opinions and the time has come to make full use of it. As the leader for the next 24 hours (someone stole Finch's chicken wings so I'm in charge while he's searching for them), I am coming to you, the OU community to join me in creating the ultimate OU council. We all know that ladder players are truly the best of the best, and I have no doubt they can save this tier. Together we will usher in a new era of progress for this tier, truly giving power back to the community.

The top 10 accounts on the OU ladder by <t:1743566340:f> will become your new council.

I nominate myself to be council, i believe the best decisions are made by the people who play the tier the least, therefore by probably getting top 10 on some old gen ladder i have fulfilled the requirement of being top 10 as they didnt specify any ladder.

I hope this new council unbans OHKO moves and Eternatus-Eternamax from OU. These two unbans will help OU become a truly stable and competitive metagame where the best of players can show off their skills to degrees no other generation could ever allow.

• Games will no longer depend on matchup of any kind. Everyone will be running the same types of Pokémon and carry the ability to Terastallize them into any type, making it fair!
• Stall will no longer be a playstyle as everyone is now under the threat of OHKO moves and the presence of Eternamax forces everyone to run OHKO moves in order to perform sufficient damage.
• RNG becomes more streamlined and consistent among all players as the majority of attack moves will be Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, and Sheer Cold, with little room for any more attacks.

Anything Goes unbanned Eternatus-Eternamax four years ago and its metagame not just survived, but thrived! The entire game of Pokémon has been powercrept since. OU is now in dire need of a big bulky behemoth like Eternatus-Eternamax. Who's with me?!
