Mantine @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 92 HP / 252 SAtk / 164 Spd
Modest Nature
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Air Slash
- Hydro Pump

  • walls a lot of pokemon which gives it a lot of chances to set up
  • can stall out a lot of walls
  • has no trouble with grass-types unlike other bulky waters
  • hits pretty hard with hydro pump
  • substitute eases prediction against offensive teams (esp. volt switch)
  • ev spread lets it outpace most misdreavus and everything under that

@Life Orb
Swift Swim
4HP/252S.Atk/252Spd
~Rain Dance
~Hydro Pump
~Air Slash
~Signal Beam

Outspeeds scarf 95s once it sets up Rain, and has Signal Beam to 2HKO Jynx. Otherwise Hydro Pump hits like a truck and Air Slash rips up Grass-types, and overall has unresisted coverage.

252+ SpA Life Orb Mantine Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Miltank in rain: 274-324 (69.54 - 82.23%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Mantine Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Alomomola in rain: 281-331 (52.62 - 61.98%) -- 98.83% chance to 2HKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Mantine Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Misdreavus in rain: 231-274 (71.29 - 84.56%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252+ SpA Life Orb Mantine Air Slash vs. 252 HP / 4+ SpD Vileplume: 252-299 (71.18 - 84.46%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Well, FLCL wins.

Mantine @ Leftovers
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Def / 248 HP / 8 Spd
Calm Nature
- Tailwind
- Air Slash
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

This capitalizes on what support movepool Mantine has to use. Tailwind... uh... yeah. Basically this is my favourite version of paraflinching, I use it on togekiss in OU to great success and it seems like it can work here. Now that rain is much more common in NU, mantine reach massive levels of speed if your opponent sets up rain thanks to swift swim, if not then the 8 EVs in speed means that it speed creeps max speed Scolipede if tailwind is up (without scarf of course) and can nail it with an air slash. Mantine keeps massive amounts of bulk, and the main thing I can see that would take out this set is the common Swellow (the above set gets wrecked by Golem and other rock blast users anyway) but of course this is all theorymonning based on my experience with an identical Togekiss set I use in OU, the principle's the same, really.

Just posting to say that this exact set on-site minus Signal Beam and that for that reason you need to explain how Signal Beam enhances it more (as in how it allows it to get past its checks/counters in this meta and why getting past Jynx is important, etc. Also it's not even mentioned in the calcs either, whereas everything you did calc is actually on-site. If you still need more help with that, look to the first post's questions for guidance :)

Mantine @ Life Orb
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Air Slash
- Hydro Pump
- Icy Wind
- Signal Beam

Jynx is a cool check to most forms of Mantine. It can take any move from standard Mantine and sleep it easily. This set capitalizes on Jynx switch ins with an Icy Wind + Signal Beam combo, usually securing the KO on Jynx, guaranteeing it with any prior damage. Icy Wind also hits anything faster that might try to switch in (So Tauros. You can also outrun Swanna afterwards and try to flinch it :). Mantine is a pretty simple Pokemon, its physical movepool owns but 40 attack :(

tl;dr: lures jynx and wins :>

Mantine @ Wacan Berry
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
-Rain Dance
-Hydro Pump
-Air Slash
-Mirror Coat

Mantine tends to attract a lot of Electric-types that think they can OHKO it with their STABs, but think again. Thanks to Wacan Berry, Mantine can take Thunderbolts or Volt Switches thanks to its ridiculous Special Defense and retaliate back with Mirror Coat. The rest is pretty standard: Rain Dance doubles Speed, Hydro Pump/Air Slash are STABs with good coverage, etc, etc.

is raya (Mantine) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Scald
- Air Slash
- Protect
- Toxic

the first guy that was using this set was Malekith, i dont like RestTalker versions because when you got sleep is hard to wake up while Protect helps to check better the things, scout choice mons and hidden power electric from stuff like Samurott and Protect with Burn or Toxic is a solid combo. Protect + Toxic > Restalk, should be this the onsite set imo And Calm nature makes a better mixed wall, for example Samurott SD w/ +2 LO +SR does 2hko full physically defensive Mantine that this mixed ev spread.

tl;dr: this set wrecks fooly

Mantine @ Life Orb
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Tailwind
- Hydro Pump
- Air Slash
- Signal Beam / HP Grass

This set tries to take advantage of Tailwind. With Pokemon like Scolipede, Ludicolo, and Piloswine switching out and about to Mantine's respective counter, this set can take that switch to its advantage by hitting hard or outspeeding the said counter. Tailwind also is cool because it supports usually slow Pokemon such as Samurott or Golurk by allowing them to hit stuff hard. Signal Beam for Jynx and HP Grass for Seismitoad and Carracosta.
