couldn't think of anything better, trick the scarf on that stall mon, torment it, use protect when it uses the move it's blocked into and psychic when it struggles or toxic to stall it out, ez. you can even use a bulkier spread

Basically this set lets Gothita reliably trap more walls and retain the ability to check some Fighting-types. It can come in on Foongus, Taunt to block Spore, and 2HKO with Psychic. It can also trap Ferroseed pretty well. More or less, you lose the ability to trap stuff like Mienfoo, Archen, and Chinchou, and can reliably Taunt and KO walls.

This little devil is like my favorite pokemon to use right now. CM Resttalk Gothita basically makes sure you have a kill on Foongus, even if Foongus hits you on the switch with Spore. Gothita is also great at removing many threats in the meta. It is capable of removing slow Fighting types, can tear up Slowpoke and Foongus regen cores, kills Staryu to keep hazards up, Abras without Shadow Ball, Aroma Spritz, and more. I find it extremely useful on stall with FerroSpritzPony cores, because Gothita can reliably kill Spritzee's and Ponyta's main, most reliable counters(Foongus and Staryu respectably). There's also a whole lot more synergy going on, and Gothita just in general works wonders on stall.
I've gotten enough comments when setting up with CM Gothita like "no shame in getting rekted by pawniard etc," but that's what teammates are for.

what does yaguras set beat that it doesn't already win against? It also works one time only.

Voting for kavatika unless anyone can convince me that yaguras has some sort of niche
 
I just don't think that a Torment set is really worth all the trouble. I think that the Calm Mind + Rest set does a better job of trapping walls and killing them, as well as getting out of it at +4 / +4. Once the scarf is tricked off, the Gothita is essentially useless because it can't freely come in and Torment, not to mention the fact that it has no recovery. It can get outstalled if the opposing Pokemon has no scarf.

Kavitika's set has a bit more merit if you want to trap the walls. Not being forced to rely on a scarf is nice to take out the slower Pokemon without them having a chance to set up hazards (in the case of Ferro) or Leech Seed. Switching in and Taunting is a much more reliable strategy if you're aiming to take out the walls that give your team trouble.

Vote for Kavitika's WallsTrap set.
 
Kavatika is the winner with his Taunt set. Next best thing is "I need a pair of scissors" Deino.

With his typing, Deino can be a really good check to some threat of the metagame like Evio Pawn, Ponyta, Pumpkaboo (Warning to Wow), Vullaby, Abra without Dgleam and some others thing, with a really amazing offensive presence.

156 Atk Pawniard Iron Head vs. 180 HP / 196 Def Eviolite Deino: 7-10 (29.1 - 41.6%) -- 99% chance to 3HKO

It's a pretty good knock off absorber, so thief is logic. With Hustle, Thief is really powerful. Dragon Tail is also a good solution to avoids set-ups.
Twave cripples switch-ins. Super Power allows him to lure and OHKO Ferroseed, Magnemite (With SR) and Pawniard. Godness set imo.

Superpower hits steel types and pretty much everything else pretty hard. Even Crunch hits pretty hard against things that aren't super effective, doing at least 20-25% damage, a good amount. With the prefect 14 speed for scarfs, once all fairies are gone, outrage ohkos nearly everything. Deino has one of the most powerful Outrages in the entire game, and it is only held back by the amount it misses, and the fact that its slow. But scarf fixes that, giving it the chance to do work.

edit: apparently, scarf is "standard deino". i have never seen a deino outside of low ladder and against absdaddy though.

Restalk Deino works well as pivot due of his good defensive typing (6 resistences 1 immunity) mixed with his decent bulk (52/50/50). This set works well in hazard stacking team because dtail force switches giving residual damage to the opposing team
