With the upcoming "Nightmare before Christmas" tournament, i decided to load up and test an Uber team on Shoddy. Jeb and Gouki, 2 other contestants in the tourney were also searching for Uber Battles. Somehow, after numerous test battles between ourselves, i became an Archnemesis to both. Jeb and Gouki had sworn revenge on "The Train Man" and both got it. (Humiliating defeat, not warstoried for reasons of Ego)
So shortly afterwards i demanded my own revenge on both. This is the tale of Jeb VS Train Man, and this is what unfolded...
Train Man's Team of Ubers through Time:
Also, in no particular order:
Plain jane, no nicknames.
*Groudon*........... *Dialga*.................. *Ho-oh*.......... *Giratina*........... *Registeel*..... *Mewtwo*...........
Jeb's Team of 3rd-gen Nolstalgia:

*Coughing Thing*...... *Fishy*........ *Boogy Dance*........ *Tina*............ *Jibaku*.............. *Hit me*...........

Coughing Thing: 100% Health.

We both lead with Groudon, Sunny skies follow the match ahead, or so i assume. I try to find out what sorta groudon this is. Rock Polish, Swords Dance, CB, CScarf? I test the waters and unleash an Earthquake.

Hrmm, a Choice Bander. I run a Rock Polish set, so naturally i'm slower. Groudon is hurt pretty bad, but i reckon, i can still use it for some late-game sweeping or at least a sacrifice. I head for the hills and bring out Ho-oh to dodge the incoming Earthquake.

Ho-oh is exerting its pressure!
Jeb switched in Boogy dance (lvl 100 Rayquaza).
The sun continues to shine.
Ho-oh: 100% Health.
Boogy dance: 100% Health.

He predicts my switch and changes too. Double-switching, always fun. A great, green dragon stares down my Phoenix, i'm scarfed and i predict a DD. Even though Sacred Fire is resisted and Rayquaza's air lock nullifies the Sunny boost, it still has a 50% burn rate and marvellous STAB. I try to burn the dragon before he can assault me...
---
Jeb switched in Fishy (lvl 100 Kyogre).
Fishy's Drizzle caused a storm!
The sun faded.
Rain began to fall!
Ho-oh used Sacred Fire.

Ho-oh: 100% Health.
Fishy: 81% Health. Burnt.
---
2 Weather Changers? OK, he probably isn't carring Palkia or Ho-oh... The burn rate hits and will slowly numb Kyogre's might Spouts. Still a good move on my behalf, IMO. I assume a scarf set, because after SePh introduced ScarfOgre, 90% of all Shoddy Teams seemed to carry one. But Jeb is a creative guy, and doesn't always follow the trends. I bring Giratina to eat a predicted Surf.

Apparently overcooked salmon can give undead caterpilllars stomach pains. Luckily my Giratina is has rest, so this ain't really to disablitating. I Shadow Claw not knowing what he'll do next.

---
Jirachi in Ubers? WTF? Then again, i do use Registeel. Shadow Claw's high hax rate kicks in and leaves a pretty large dent in Jibbles. Once again, i'm at odds for what sort of set he's running. I scout and Will-o-Wisp not really knowing what else to do.

The king of Hax, Jirachi dodges the burning flame, and makes a wish in the rain. Obviously it's a Wish-passer, so i choose to roar away the recipient and scout more team members.

The pixie-thing's attempt at healing his little fishy was flushed down the toilet by my Caterpillar's roar. What floated to the rim, was the dragon-snake, Boogy Down. I predict a Dragon Dance and Roar, but then i realize he would predict my Roar and might just jump right into an Outrage. I make a risky move and switch to stainless steel, special wall.

---
That prediction was both right, wrong and an oxymoron. You'll see how, soon enough. I cursed. I had just taken off Ice Punch of Registeel, as i hadn't seen a single Rayquaza whilst running the move. Instead i had Double-status (T-wave and Toxic), Stealth Rocks and Explosion. I decide T-wave is the best option whilst he's forced to hit me with an unboosted Outrages.
---
Boogy dance used Outrage.

Boogy Down: 100% Health. Paralyzed.
---
Parafusion, lol. I anticipate a switch, but don't wanna double-status. Reason: Kyogre is already burnt and Groudon can absorb T-waves and Jirachi won't take toxics. I setup rocks to defend myself against another Rayquaza switch-in.

Ouch, he predicted my switch and nailed my Ho-oh. Usually this Fiery bird and 2nd Gen Uber does serve my team as a brilliant revenge-killer, but today it at least lived up to it's reputation in competitive battling. A steaming pile of crap. It was a risky and well-rewarded prediction in Jeb's hands. I switch in MixIalga, a powerful offensive force on both ends of the spectrum.
---
Train Man switched in Dialga (lvl 100 Dialga).

---
It was my turn to make a ballsy prediction and it certainly payed off as well. Thunder on a ground type... under Sunny Day. Kyogre was really the only switch-in that i could hit for over 50% accuracy and i'm glad it payed off. Little know about MixIalga, a set not found in the DP Analysis but created by Jibaku in the "New Sets and EVs" thread.

He obviously thinks it's a purely special Dialga and is unaware of the Brick Break threat. I attack and imprint a large dent in that Blissey's hide. Obviously he won't stay in to eat another, so i choose Thunder again and try to paralyze something on the switch.

*Gasp* A pokemon from the 4th Generation. Now i know his team, I think that MixIalga will have a fun time. Hitting 4 of his remaing 5 for super-effective damage. I take the oppurtunity and Draco Meteor the Caterpillar, but Jeb gets wise and makes a switch/sacrifice.

Not sure whether that was a mispredict or a sacrifice. Either way his blissey is out of the way so my Status effects will stay. A free switch-in for him, but Dialga can mostly anything on his team.

I wasn't sure of the speed EVs on that thing. Some people still like to run Max Speed but, others prefer bulkier builds. I switch and sacrifice Groudon to get a clean revenge kill with Mewtwo.

Fast game. 3 KO's in 3 turns. It's times like these that I wish i ran Specs or Ice Beam on my Mewtwo. Obviously it's a bulky build, but that matters not. One more switch-in and it'll die from Stealth Rocks. My physical wall giratina can surely force the switch. Anticipating Jirachi again, i shadow claw and attempt to hax him like last time and bring him to death.

Very Close again. Quick recap. I've got Giratina, Dialga and Registeel left. He's got Rayquaza, Giratina and Groudon. Groudon will die on his next switch and Rayquaza can be walled, if played smartly. Giratina will go down to Dialga's Draco Meteor. Let's see what happens.

Predicting either an Overheat or DDance I rest. I'm trying to bait him into Outraging so my Registeel can effectively trap and explode in it's face. A EQ still works for me and at least i've gotten rid of that accursed Toxic. I switch to Registeel, now anticipating an Outrage.

Do keep Dialga as powerful a mixed sweeper as possible i only have the ability to run 40 Speed EVs. Enough to outspeed same bulky-ass Groudons that I run. Train Man: tie game?
Jeb: ok
Train Man: lol
Train Man: gg
Jeb: gg
So the stall war wins with a draw. We both couldn't be bothered to stay there and end such a great match with Shadow Claw/Dragon Claw + Rest.
Great Game, Jeb.
PROPS:
* Predicting with MixIalga and killing Kyogre and Blissey.
* Stealth Rock being rather useful this game killing Rayquaza and Groudon.
* Original non-Ubers that pulled their weight, Registeel and Jirachi.
SLOPS:
* Ho-oh didn't do a damn thing.
* Mewtwo wanted Specs/Ice Beam.
* My Horrible late-game skills.
If you enjoyed this Warstory, please Post. Considering Warstorying my other Battle with Gouki. Oh and shameless plug. If you have either a Mild/Rash Dialga or a Adamant/Jolly Ho-oh please PM me. I have every other member on this team, ready for WiFi.
So shortly afterwards i demanded my own revenge on both. This is the tale of Jeb VS Train Man, and this is what unfolded...
Train Man's Team of Ubers through Time:
Also, in no particular order:

Plain jane, no nicknames.
*Groudon*........... *Dialga*.................. *Ho-oh*.......... *Giratina*........... *Registeel*..... *Mewtwo*...........

Groudon: 100% Health.
Coughing Thing: 100% Health.

We both lead with Groudon, Sunny skies follow the match ahead, or so i assume. I try to find out what sorta groudon this is. Rock Polish, Swords Dance, CB, CScarf? I test the waters and unleash an Earthquake.

Coughing Thing: 48% Health.
---
Hrmm, a Choice Bander.

Train Man switched in Registeel (lvl 100 Registeel).

I misclick and hit fire blast but that's no problem. He sacrifices his Groudon for another free switch. That is a problem. Do keep Dialga as powerful a mixed sweeper as possible i only have the ability to run 40 Speed EVs. Enough to outspeed same bulky-ass Groudons that I run. OK. I think i've just lost the game. God, i could've played that whole late-game better. If i switched into my Dialga straight away i could've taken the first Outrage and KO'd him with Draco Meteor. Switched out again, and finished off his Tina with another. The next Outrage will end me... unless Confusion hax kicks in...

Train Man: tie game?
Jeb: ok
Train Man: lol
Train Man: gg

So the stall war wins with a draw. We both couldn't be bothered to stay there and end such a great match with Shadow Claw/Dragon Claw + Rest.
Great Game, Jeb.
PROPS:
* Predicting with MixIalga and killing Kyogre and Blissey.
* Stealth Rock being rather useful this game killing Rayquaza and Groudon.
* Original non-Ubers that pulled their weight, Registeel and Jirachi.
SLOPS:
* Ho-oh didn't do a damn thing.
* Mewtwo wanted Specs/Ice Beam.
* My Horrible late-game skills.
