The Offensive cripplers(OU RMT)

After having made and taken some teams from Smogon till the time so far, I had decieded that it was time to build another team for the ladder. This team is a balanced team and took about a week to build. So well, Lets go on to the team!
Team Overview:

473.png
145.png
380.png
306.png
rotomh.png

So You can see that it consists of a:
Lead, 2 Priority, 2 Bulky Offensive pokes, 1 Sweeper
My team has 3 Pokemon affected by Spikes,
2 Pokemon affected by T.Spikes
3 Pokemon weak to Stealth Rock
Team In Depth:
azelf.png
@Focus Sash

Nature:-Naive
Ev's:- 4 Sp. Att/ 252 Att/ 252 Spe
Ability:-Levitate
Moveset:- Stealth Rock
Explosion
Fire Blast
Taunt
What it does for the Team:
Azelf is a really good lead(reason it is in the top 10) as it sets up Stealth Rock for me while preventing the opponent from setting up or making me asleep thanks to Taunt. Explosion is just a last resort to blow up in front of other pokemon taking it out from the battle while self-sacrificing it. Fire Blast is for coverage to damage other leads.
zapdos.png
@ Leftovers
Nature:-Timid
EV's:-HP 252/ 176 Spe/ 80 Def
Ability:- Pressure
Moveset:-Substitute
Roost
Thunderbolt
Toxic
What it does for the team:
Ahh... the SubRoost Zapdos. This thing is definetly deadly and really hard as shit to break through when used properly. It's a very simple strategy, come in on something that you know cant do shit to you, Sub-up, use Roost if you want to heal or Sub again if you know he can break your sub, and watch him go to heaven when when he is dieing of poison or kill him with T-bolt. Heat wave is there to destroy Breloom, Lucario, Scizor. The EV's were suggested by Franky and were helpful as they helped me outspeed Jolly Gyarados, Jolly Lucario and Jolly Breloom.
rotomheat.png
@Leftovers
Nature:-Timid
EV's:-252 HP/ 168 Def/ 88 Spe (Need help for this set)
Ability:- Levitate
Moveset:-Thunder Bolt
Overheat
HP-Ground
Reflect
What it does for the team:
Rotom-H is seriously a great pokemon man... It helps counter so many pokemon which are a threat to this team. So you can say that it is a strong bond to this team. It helps me serve as a Spin-Blocker. Thunder Bolt is for STAB while Overheat is to finish of pokemon like Scizor and Lucario while HP-Ground helps me get some surprise damage on quite a few pokemon expecting HP-Fighting while Reflect helps me sponge up physical hits better

mamoswine.png
@Choice Band
Ability:-Snow Cloak
EV's:-252 Att/ 252 Spe/ 4 Def
Nature:-Adamant
Moveset:-Ice Shard
Superpower
Earthquake
Stone Edge
What it does for the team:
This Mamoswine is what I call a power-revenger. It helps me revenge Salamance with its awesome priority move also known as Ice Shard. Mamoswine has this really cool ability of being both resistant to Hail and Sandstorm so it really doesnt care about the weather. Superpower,Earth quake and Stone Edge provide great coverage while Ice Shard is Priority and it helps me finish many Dragons.

latias.png
@ Life Orb

Ability:- Levitate
EV's:-252 Sp Att/ 252 Spe/ 4 Sp. Def
Nature:- Timid
Moveset:- Draco Meteor
Surf
Recover
Thunder Bolt
What it does for the team:
This Latias is really good for my team as it helps me serve as a counter to Infernape and other fire types in general. Thunder Bolt and Surf provide me great power and variety to use attacks to destroy other pokemon. Draco Meteor is fired of by her from a 210 Base Attack after STAB which is amazingly powerful. It also attracts Blissey which then i change to Aggron and set-up. Recover also provides me with a reliable recovery move.

aggron.png
@ Liechi Berry
Ability:- Rock Head
EV's:- 4 HP/ 252 Att/ 252 Spe
Nature:- Adamant
Moveset:-Rock Polish
Substitute
Earthquake
Head Smash
What it does for the team:
This guy is a complete beast when used correctly. Aggron has been gifted with an awesome move call Head Smash thanks to HGSS and I plan to use it to full potential. It generally comes out on a choiced pokemon attack which it restists, Sub's then uses Rock Polish which makes it reach a devastating 394 Speed which ties with max speed Jolly Aerodactyl!! Head Smash also doesnt do any recoil thanks to Rock Head and fires off a really powerful 350 Att before a Liechi boost and then starts frying pokemon with Head Smash.

RP Aggron is aided -greatly- by Sandstorm support. I would replace either Dragonite or Mamoswine, probably the latter, by a Choice Band/Scarf or other Tyranitar. The standard CBTar (EQ/Stone Edge/Pursuit/Crunch) should be adequate to fulfill the role of Revenger.

Do you need to outspeed Lucario with Dragonite? Surely Dragonite is bulky enough to switch on the Close Combat, absorb the next non-Stone Edge attack, and KO with Flamethrower (or Fire Blast/Overheat?)?

Also, you really want something with Stealth Rock/Spikes; I would argue Spikes or Stealth Rock are both more useful for aiding Aggron's sweep than Toxic Spikes is; maybe Forretress/Froslass/Smeargle would be a better lead than Roserade?

I dont really need Sandstorm as only Aggron benefit from it so no need.

It does have the bulk but Dnite also needs the speed to kill all the other threats

I dont really need SR for now but i may put it over Superpower or mamo and then change it to a life orb set. thanks for the rate

Sandstorm doesn't really get in the way of any of your other guys, though, and it basically covers the one thing Aggron is worried about. CBTar also gives you a great switch-in for Latias.

I actually think Stealth Rock is less important than Spikes on an Aggron-sweep team. The reason Toxic Spikes works for Empoleon (Aggron's special-based equivalent) is because the things that standard SubPetaya Empoleon has difficulty with are Bulky Waters like Suicune/Vaporeon (who aren't at all scared of Surf or Ice Beam, even with a boost), and those guys typically have trouble with Toxic Spikes because it limits their ability to stay in.

Aggron doesn't have those troubles; it has trouble with fast or bulky attackers (especially Steel-types) who can come in and either revenge or tank a predicted hit and KO before you can finish them. Spikes is extremely useful for dealing with this, because anything immune to them probably can't handle a Head Smash, and those that can tank a head smash probably can't do so with 25% of their health gone every time they switch in.

The only thing that Toxic Spikes helps on your team is Zapdos, and that can easily be remedied by replacing Ice Beam with Toxic, allowing you to perform the same stalling games without really losing coverage (TBolt still hits Steels, and Toxic hits Grounds).

I would seriously suggest, if not switching Roserade for a better option, replace Toxic Spikes with regular Spikes (although I find it difficult to see how Smeargle isn't a much better option in that case, with Trapping, Taunt, Trick, Spore, ExtremeSpeed available to aid).

I would actually use a scarf smeargle looking like this-
Smeargle @ Choice Scarf
Jolly; 252 Hp/ 4 Def/ 252 Spe
Switcheroo
Spore
Spikes/ can be something else like endeavor if you move SR somewhere else on the team
Stealth Rock

- I find the normal endeavor combo pretty ineffective due to rotom being on just about every team which is made worse by the fact you lack a pursuit user to help ko him for trying to block the endeavor. This variant works amazingly, and imo works better in general. Jirachi w/ a scarf and metagross with a lum are about the only leads to "beat" it both of which are very safe switches to rotom. First and foremost, we are adding SR to the team while maintaining spikes meaning the only thing you miss is the predictable endeavor. Also, you gain a spore that hits azelf, aero, and infernape leads shutting down the SR that everybody hates while at the same time giving you a switcheroo that hinders swampert and hippo leads often locking them in SR and giving you a free turn to spore the incoming pokemon and/ or set hazards as they switch AND you get death fodder for later in the match (or you can sleep bulky leads as well). Basically it can generate a TON of momentum for your team and I would give it a go as I have used several builds and this set always seems to be the one I use.

I would consider changing choice band on mamoswine to LO. Also, unless you like the coverage Superpower gives you, it would be doable to run SR in that spot on mamo and give smeargle either toxic spikes, endeavor, destiny bond, etc.

Though it wont be as shocking to see as a pure special attacker as dragonite, have you considered salamence in dragonites spot as a choice scarfer? First, he does have ten higher base points in special attack. Because of its higher base speed, it also allows for a speed tie with other salamence who get off a dragon dance should mamo be ko'd as well as outspeed jolly gyarados after a dragon dance both are fairly important things that dragonite cannot do (also can help check kingdra which outspeeds dragonite after one dragon dance). I want to suggest fire blast instead of flamethrower as well the slight drop in accuracy is usually worth the boosted power.

I like the idea of Smeargle and will definetly test it out.
On Dragonite i like the bulk it provides although Salamance can help me with Intimitade. I'll test it out to thanks.

Edit after testing: the smeargle didnt work out neither did salamance dude sorry but thanks for the rate

Got your pm and let me breeze through this. I don't see the point of running Smeargle right now. With a part of your team weak to Stealth Rock - a very common move, suicide leads will always get it down. Just run standard Azelf lead to have the second quickest Taunt, Aerodactyl could work but for a team like this Azelf would probably work best. Azelf @ Sash with the nature Naive and EVs 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe and movesets Explosion / Fire Blast / Taunt / Stealth Rock. 252 Atk EVs is to actually boost up your Explosion power, which is something Azelf needs. A weakened, Hippowdon or Swampert will be good lategame for your entire team to threaten and for Aggron to sweep efficiently. Fire Blast will still 2HKO Metagross, and opposing Azelfs. Taunt is the obvious crux, it prevents several bulky leads from getting their set ups down, most notibaly, Metagross, Swampert, Smeargle, Heatran, etc.

For Zapdos, I'd like to make a suggestion with a slightly different EV spread: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 Spe at a Timid nature. This way you outpace, Jolly Gyarados (I believe), Jolly Lucario, and Joly Breloom. This way when your caught at a somewhat low health, you can smash them with Thunderbolt or Heat Wave before they hit you with Stone Edge or Spore, etc. Speaking of Heat Wave, its much better than Hidden Power Ice currently, as Garchomp is in uber and Salamence isnt a big deal right now. Heat Wave smases Lucario, Breloom, as well as Scizor.

For Rotom, I think Reflect / Overheat / Thunderbolt / Hidden Power Ground work would out. Reflect helps takes physical hits better, Overheat will get get Scizor and Lucario on the spot while Thunderbolt is your choice of STAB. HP Ground hits both Tyranitar and Heatran on a switch.

As for other options, it seems like Latias could fit in over Dragonite for several reasons: luring Blissey and checking alot of things. Latias lures in Blissey, gives Aggron a free switch in and a free turn to set up if you wish. Most importantly, it checks Infernape, Heatran, and basically Fire-types in general. Dragonite is an alright choice for checking it, but with the SR weakness, and lack of recovery its not inviting. The latias moveset that would fit the bill would be 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe with the nature Timid and moveset Draco Meteor / Thunderbolt / Surf / Recover and item Life orb. overall gl.

hey thanks Franky im just making the changes after testing and they worked out real cool except the Heat Wave on Zappy cuz i need toxic for sub stall to work.

EDIT: okay guys after playing with this for about a week, i have found that i have a really big weakneed to Weavile if it can set up SD althought not common. How do you think I should rectify this?
