The Official Updated List of Dream World Pokemon

You know, it all started out when we were so excited about the newly released Dream World abilities. Many Pokemon like Espeon, Blaziken, Alakazam, and Serperior would all reap the golden benefits.

Fortunately, some like the aforementioned Espeon and Blaziken got their Dream World abilities as of recently. However, Dream World abilities for many Pokemon have not been released, and many are desperate to find their particular released Dream World Pokemon. Many months ago, we all had to resort to the "List of Released Dream World Pokemon and Attacks" thread in Uncharted Territory". Sure, it was good at first, but then...

So is the list in the first post an up-to-date list or do I have to go through the thread to see released pokemon?

It was last updated in November, so you'll have to search.

As you can see, the list has not been updated as of late November, and the thread has deteriorated into a collection of questions and "hype" posts.

Therefore, I'd like to suggest a list of Dream World abilities to Smogon, exclusive to Smogon. This list would theoretically have:

a) a list of Pokemon who have Dream World abilities

b) a column of that list where it reveals a pokemon has been released in the Dream World (Released?| Yes / No)

c) a column where one can read the specifics of how to get a particular Dream World Pokemon (such as Togekiss, whom you have to get on a Daisuke Birthday membership)

d) a column confirming whether or not a Dream World Pokemon can be obtained male (Male? | Yes / No)

e) a column confirming whether or not a Dream World Pokemon can be obtained female (Female? | Yes / No)

f) a column of additional moves the Dream World Pokemon gets

This list should be frequently updated by a moderator weekly or some specific time boundary. This list is to avoid the clutter that is the list in Uncharted Territory.

We can still rely on proof of release in that thread so we can see which Pokemon are released and which are not. However, this information will be released on the Dream World list on a basis. A list of newly released Dream World Pokemon will also be posted by a Moderator or person with special priveledges in Contributions and Corrections so the list can be updated with the new Pokemon. Or if I'm unaware of some other method of updating, I'll see.

So yes, this is basically a proposition to avoid clutter and make it convenient for competitors to see whether their precious Alakazam or Xatu has been released in the Dream World (I'll give you a hint. One's released and one's not).

Maybe somebody wouldn't have to search deperately and wait every 30 seconds to see their Pokemon and not get their answer. And they don't have to search through the Dream World site and hopelessly try finding their Pokemon.

Also relevant would be whether the pokemon has females released.

I agree, it's really annoying to not have this list updated...especially as a server mod when people complain that opponents movesets and ability combinations are illegal. I like this suggestion.

This is a cool suggestion, but the problem is that someone needs to do it and then document proof for each addition to the list. If you are volunteering yourself for that, that's awesome, and I look forward to the result. If not, however, I doubt many people have the tenacity to drudge through it all, and finding someone willing to do it will be tough.

I'm currently writing a Dream World guide in C&C so a list like this might go there. I don't how hard it is to update stuff on site, so it might not be the best place. It would also take a while for it to be finished (Dream World is closed till April :/) maybe puting the info somewhere else and then inserting it into the guide

Oh, um, wow. Thanks guys, this is pretty positive. Rising Dusk does bring up a good point though. Somebody does have to document proof for each release, and that would be tough considering screenshots and some other forms of proof need to be relied on.

And yes, while I'd be volunteering through all the "drudge" (provided time is correct), I'll be the first to admit that I don't have experience in this field .

Perhaps when the Dream World servers come back on and we can have access to the English World, we'll see.

And yeah, Fire Blast, sounds like a good idea: just put it elsewhere and mention he list in the article.
