Welcome to the ORAS RMT Contest! This is a unique, one-time event, and you can enter solo or as a duo. Over 14 days, you will post a team that meets certain requirements as an RMT, receive feedback from experienced players and builders, get the chance to revise it, and submit a final version. A jury will select the winner. Besides the attractive prizes, this is your chance to leave a lasting mark on the ORAS forum, make use of the support on offer, and create something truly special.

Prizes:
  • First place receives 2000 Reaction Points, second place receives 500 Reaction Points
  • The winning team becomes a sample (further additions are possible too)
  • Special Team Showcase for the winning team
The winner will be chosen by a jury. The most important factor is how well the team is built. Creativity, originality, and the showcase itself are important components of the evaluation.

Submission rules

  • Entries: Each participant may be part of one entry only, either solo or as a duo.
  • Changelog is recommended: A spoiler titled "Changelog" lists every change from v1 to the final version, each with a one-line reason. It helps raters and the jury follow the team's development.
  • Final post: It contains the importable, a description of your team with your thoughts about why you think it works well or what makes it special. Replays of the final version are helpful, as they show how the team plays.

Schedule:
The contest has three phases. You have one week to submit your first version. After that there are 2 days for the RMT team to check your team and give hints on what you could improve. You do not have to make any changes, and whether you change it or not will not affect the jury vote. Finally you have 5 days to make adjustments to your RMT.
  1. Submission (days 1–7): Participants post their team (v1) as an RMT in the ORAS RMT thread.
  2. Feedback (days 8–10): Every entry receives at least one detailed rate from the support team.
  3. Revision and final post (until day 14): Participants can revise the team in their original post, ideally log the changes in a changelog and add replays of the final version.
The jury judges the post as it stands at the deadline.
