Hello! My name is Bryan and I've been lurking for a long time. I've been learning as best as I can to try and make a good team before B2W2 is released. If I get enough wins, I plan on RNG'ing this team and participate in a end of summer tournament held where I live to try and take first place. I've been a competitive battler since the start of Gen IV. My RMT doesn't have any frills or anything humorous but Hopefully you can make sense of what my team is and I'll try to respond well to your criticisms!
Stats are depicted as followed:
[HP / Attack / Defense / Special Attack / Special Defense / Speed]
Lead / Physical Sweeper

Daruma (Darmanitan) @ Choice Band
Nature: Jolly | Ability: Sheer Force
EV Spread: [6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe]
Moveset:
[Flare Blitz / Earthquake / Stone Edge / U-Turn]
Comments: I seem to have trouble against Pokemon like Gliscor, Swampert, and Jellicent that can take my attacks easily. However I usually anticipate these switches and proceed to use an attack that wipes the Pokemon or do some major damage. Darmanitan is my main source of punishment dealing, and is often overlooked, and overshadowed by other fire types like Heatran and Volcarona. I've also tried having Heatran instead of Darmanitan because of the amount of Willo-Wispers in this meta. I just don't like how Darmanitan is a little slow, but I rely a little bit on Slowbro's Thunderwave to make sure Darmanitan always goes first.
Alternate Lead / Special Sweeper / Revenge Killer

Bolt (Jolteon) @ Choice Specs
Nature: Timid | Ability: Volt Switch
EV Spread: [6 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spe]
IV Spread: [31 / 30 / 30 / 31 / 31 / 31]
Moveset:
[Thunder / Volt Switch / Shadow Ball / Hidden Power Ice]
Comments: Jolteon is my main special attacking sweeper. I opted for Thunder over Thunderbolt because of the ever prevalent amount of Rain Dance teams. Since Jolteon is arguably the fastest unboosted Pokemon in OU, I use Jolteon as my revenge killer. If I feel Darmanitan isn't good enough as a lead during team preview, I use Jolteon instead.*
Tank / Set-Up Sweeper

Munchkin (Snorlax) @ Leftovers
Nature: Careful | Ability: Thick Fat
EV Spread: [140 HP / 166 Atk / 136 Def / 68 SDef]
Stats @ Level 100: [496 / 297 / 200 / x / 300 / 96]
Moveset:
[Curse / Fire Punch / Earthquake / Pursuit]
Comments: I included Stat values because I wanted specific stats. With 496 HP, I get maximum leftover recovery @ 31 HP per turn. The only drawback to this is Snorlax *also get maximum hazard damage. Curse gets snorlax's defense to a whopping 300. Pursuit is for Pokemon that try to switch out after doing minimal damage to Snorlax. I chose thick fat over immunity because of Sunny day teams with Fire type boosted moves. Fire Punch to take out Ferrothorn, and Earthquake for maximum coverage. I chose to not have a STAB move based on Snorlax already having boosted attack. And Normal attacks have two resistances and one immunity, so I felt that it's not really needed. I could also opt out Rest and replace my held item to lum berry, since I've ran into Sigilyph that just shifts burn on Snorlax, or Pokemon that uses Toxic to limit Sborlax's staying power.
Set-Up Sweeper / Status Blocker

Sunshine (Espeon) @ Leftovers
Nature: Timid | Ability: Magic Bounce
EV Spread: [68 HP / 90 SAtk / 100 SDef / 252 Spe]
IV Spread: [31 / 30 / 30 / 30 / 30 / 30]
Moveset:
[Calm Mind / Psyshock / Hidden Power Fighting / Shadow Ball]
Comments: The odd EV spread compliments this calm mind set. I opted for HP Fighting for the expected switch in to common counters such as Tyranitar. I chose Psyshock over stored power because Stored power needs to have +2CM in order to do more damage than psychic / Psyshock. Espeon also helps prevent expected Hazard damage such as Stealth Rock. I rely on Espeon as my main Pokemon to prevent status effects and hazards. It's not effective, but I'm known to always switch a lot and if hazards are up, it really cripples my team.
Physical Tank / Special Tank

UMadBro (Slowbro) @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold | Ability: Regenerator
EV Spread: [148 HP / 176 Def / 186 SDef]
Moveset:
[Scald / Ice Beam / Flamethrower / Thunderwave]
Comments: Slowbro is my main tank that soaks up damage. It compliments Snorlax's weakness, and allows to spread paralysis / burn (Scald) to cripple opposing sweepers. Slowbro is great at soaking up Fighting type attacks which is prevalent in Gen V OU. I also feel that I don't have as many ice type attacking moves also. I still have problems with Tyranitar since I've seen so many people run specially defensive set, and just either uses STAB crunch, or predict the switch out with Pursuit. I can't always rely on Scald to get the Burn Hax. I have also thought about getting rid of one move for Slack off, *but I also felt its a little redundant to have because of regenerator and leftovers.
Pokemon #6: TBD
I still sort of need a sixth Pokemon. I've tried out different types but none seem to fit well of the synergy of my team. I would like some suggestions as I have already tried: conkeldurr, Dragonite, Ferrothorn, Forretress, Lucario, and Gliscor.
Overall Comments:
I've tried this team out, and so far I've been very successful and started winning many battles with this team and actually laddered an peaked on PO at 1406 Points. I started to notice a decline in my winnings. I started to see that my team is taunt-bait and relies heavily on Espeon bouncing back hazards and status. If Espeon is taken out early, I'm always hard-pressed to win the match. I've tried Ferrothorn, and Forretress as my 6th Pokemon, but they always are rendered useless by taunt. I also noticed that i switch out frequently and i dont have any Rapid Spinners to take out hazards that eventually destroy my team. Are there any suggestions for my 6th slot? I had a couple ideas, such as standard dance multi scale dnite, Banded Ferrothorn, Rapid Spin Forretress, and Justified Lucario. Also, Tyranitar usually always wrecks my team. Sandstorm in general almost always takes this team down. I've also used some fighting types, but I've also encountered running into celebi on sandstorm teams that just obliterate me. I also don't have any priority moves on any of my pokemon I've also tried using conkeldurr, but Conkeldurr is no very predictable. I dont want to scrap this team because I've had a lot of wins with it, but is there Any changes I should make? Any help is appreciated!*
