adamant -swift swim
evs: 252atk; 128spe; 96def; 32hp
item: focus sash
-rain dance
-waterfall
-rock slide
-x-scissor

Ahh.. the old traditional rain sweeper set. The focus sash gaurantees the rain dance to be gotten in, and from then on you sweep. I love kabutops, he has so much potential.

"raver"
timid- swift swim
evs: 152hp; 252sp.atk; 72spe; 32spD
item: wisdom glasses
-surf
-energy ball
-ice beam
-rain dance

Now, I know this looks a bit strange, but it's an idea of mine that I came up with. 72spe evs gives it just as many stat points as modest with 104 would. I personally think that giving up a bit of special attack for some defenses is a pretty good trade off. Now I know that wisdom glasses are VERY uncommon, but using these allows a slight sp.atk boost along with the ability to use rain dance if needed. I guess it kind of functions as a wall for my team, but I try to think of it as more of a sweeper.

"Shocker"
timid- static
evs: 252sp.atk; 220spe; 36hp
item: petaya berry
-substitute
-thunder
-hidden power water
-hyper beam

Now this thing is a shocker. This is my team's thunder-dancer. When rain dance has been set up, it uses that to fuel its sweeping. Hidden power water covers ground, while getting stab. The sub is there if you anticipate rain dance ending soon, in which case you keep attacking through it 3 times. 3 times will get you down to the petaya berry, giving you all the power you need. ;) That's where hyper beam comes in. By then, you'll probably feel that you've done enough damage with manectric and be willing to sacrifice it for one big blow.

"HONCHKROW"
adamant- super luck
evs: 252atk; 252spe; 6hp
item: choice scarf
-night slash
-drill peck
-pursuit
-steel wing

This is my revenge killer. Bring it in, kill stuff. Pretty simple here.

"phantom"
timid- inner focus
evs: 252sp.atk; 252spe; 6hp
item: colbur berry
-disable
-protect
-thunder wave
-ice beam

I love froslass. She's one of my favorites. Great speed, and with some prediction can give her some good results. This pokemon is my crippler. She's fun to use.

"Breakdance"
adamant-intimidate
evs: 252atk; 184spe; 72hp
-close combat
-stone edge
-mach punch
-earthquake

I love hitmontop. <3 He's my favorite pokemon. I've never actually put my CB one to use, so I thought "Why not use him?" This guy has great potential for being one of the best CB'ers out there. Intimidate allows him to come in and tear stuff apart by lowering the opponents defenses.

Alright guys, thanks for taking the time to read all that. Please note that this team is for use in standard play. Meaning it will face all things below ubers.

O_o at Manectric.

-First of all, Raikou does that set better, faster stronger and somewhat bulkier

- Why not Overheat over hyper beam? I know that fire attacks are halved in rain, but that could be your kamikaze move as your opponent could switch-in or stat up.

First off, I'm using the manectric due to me already breeding it. Second, this team I dominantly want to be pokemon that are more uncommon. I like the oddball pokemon. I'd only use hyper beam when I was in a DESPERATE situation. I know it's weird, but it's viable according to the analysis.

I think he should replace Gengar with something UU so he could at least play in UU, since most of his Pokemon are UU/BL

Sure, froslass work? I just edited in froslass to replace gar.

First of all, I agree with the user who said you should replace Manetric with Raikou. You may be breeding Manetric (this team is for WiFi I suppose), but Raikou is completely dominant. Under Rain, STAB Thunder from a higher base Special Attack is welcome on this team. You could always get from LGY, by doing a breeding project or something if she rejects your offer. If you decide to add Raikou (highly recommend) use the Substitute / Thunder / Hidden Power Ice / Calm Mind. Run 92 SpA / 164 SpD / 252 Speed.

Your Ludicolo is a Bulky Sweeper as I see, but overall, a lot of things are heavier in BL/UU that Grass Knot would be needed. Replace Energy Ball with Grass Knot. Now we go to your Honchkrow. Honchrow is your revenge killer but what does it actually revenge kill something Deoxys-S couldn't? I highly recommend you replace Honchkrow for Deoxys-S as it seems it would fit into your team being able to revenge kill things that you already couldn't.

Froslass you say is your crippler but it doesn't really receive the boost from Rain Dance. I recommend you switch it out for something more like Rotom. Rotom can abuse Rain Dance as well with Thunder, and can also cripple sweepers / walls with Thunder Wave / WoW or Toxic (respectively). Rotom is unorthodox as well so it blends in with the team perfectly.

I'm not recommending this, just suggesting it in case. If Hitmontop doesn't work out you could always just run SDLuke, or CBCross which tears things to shreds (literally).

1. Why would I want LGY's raikou when I could just use pokeguy's redistributable one with hp water?(which would get a boost)

2. Fine with me. I might change the ev spread to something along the lines of 172spe, 252sp.atk, 86sp.def. Opinions on that anyone?

3. It seems to me that you're just trying to standardize my team, I don't really like that. Besides, what honchkrow does better, is take hits and deal out more damage. I like the speed factor with deoxys - S, but I doubt I could even get one here at smogon. No one with a good one really trades it.(for the record, this isn't for shoddy. I don't have shoddy) Like I could get negator's deoxys? That's funny...

4. I actually like that idea. I can deal with that.

5. Nope, hitmontop's my favorite pokemon. That's not an option. It's going to be in my team.

1. You want LGYs because it has HP Ice over HP Water. What does Water hit that ice can't, plus Ice eliminates all of shit that walls you. Ice OHKOs Gliscor, while Water is not able to, Water is not able to hit Dragon super-effective, or Grass super-effective. With Ice you have Pseudo-BoltBeam which gets the job done. I have used Raikou before, A LOT, and the Psuedo-BoltBeam has saved me a lot.

3. Sandman has good one, Dexterity has a good one, Miltonic has a good one, PyroDudeX has a good one, etc. BTW, how does adding one OU Pokemon make a team standardized? You want this Pokemon to play in OU, then you need to atleast use 18.75% OU.

5. Like I said, I don't recommend it, just a back-up plan.

I would like to point out that hyper beam has 150bp while thunder has 180bp with STAB and the accuracy isnt that different. Overheat would be good once the rain is over.

I love manectric too!!

Manectric has a few things it gets over Raikou that make it usable. First of all, it has access to fire moves. This allows it to take down steel types much more easily. Manectric can take down Steelix, meanwhile Raikou has to sit there eating STAB Earthquakes and using neutral Hidden Powers.

If you do switch to Raikou, DO NOT use HP Grass or Ice. Instead, use HP Water, which is a lot more useful in UU/BL in general, plus it gets a boost from the rain, allowing it to destroy things. In UU/BL, there are few dragons in general, and Altaria is the only one you will be beating(most Flygon run Scarf, thus outspeeding and OHKOing anyways, unless you have a Sub up). With HP Water, you score KOs on Camerupt, Rhyperior and Steelix, with little to no boosts at all. These three pokemon seem to be more potent threats than Altaria, but that is just me.

Honchkrow FTW! But Sucker Punch>Night Slash. Your other moves handle slower pokes.

EDIT: @ Sikh Assassin: How does that make any sense at all? If you use one OU pokemon, the team becomes standardized, thus not allowed in BL/UU. You aren't allowed to bring a Rayquaza into OU, are you?

Another thing, Gliscor is OU, so that doesn't even affect the tier he is playing in...

Oh, I almost forgot, drop Hyper Beam on Manectric, as it is really just shit. Thunder 2HKOs Grumpig and Hypno, so I would say Charge Beam should work. If you are afraid that the rain won't be active all the time, use Crunch and change your nature to Hasty, then add some attack EVs.
