it's been nearly a year since i started drawing stuff for smogon, so i feel overdue for making an art thread to compile my works. no poetic intro, theres a lot to get through. lfg.
Since I was modded for the Flying Press, and shortly thereafter Smeargle's, I steadily made article banners and got more involved overall with the site. I find that I use these banners to experiment with different styles in a way that I usually don't for my personal work, and it's sorta funny putting them all next to each other and seeing my growth (and decay).
Above are some miscellaneous draws I did last year, and I wanna highlight one of them. Smeargle's inktober was a blast to host last year, and seeing everyone come together and encourage newer artists to put themselves out there was really something amazing. Drawing every day with my girlfriend and getting my close friends involved made it all the more special, and I hope we can have another great one in 2025! nwn
Recently I took up the role of coordinating for and producing my own art for the revived Smogon youtube channel. We've been uploading stuff regularly and it's exciting having a new venue for approved artists to show off their work, since the other social media accounts were culled to just mini-analyses. Above are two thumbnails, and four stickers that Kalalokki made into a background for our videos. It's been a blast leading all of the thumbnail stuff so far and I'm excited to see the channel grow and our content improve.
MY TWO BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN!!! MY TOUYS!!!!! if you've been exposed to my presence for long enough you know about me and my wife Stories' fursonas, and how annoying we can be about it. the blue one is an axolotl-dolphin-pooltoy-kobold girl named Calico (ashley named her species Aqua Pup) and the other one is Hope, a red panda-fox-highland cow-plushie girl. ill probably post more of them in this thread but theres way too much to share and most of my art of them is OLD and BAD!!
