Hey guys its Mishimono with a new RMT. I have been trying to get a good team in this meta and I feel this one has potential to be good. It's built around Kyogre+Rayquaza with Trick Room added in.

Team-building process

I started the team off with the Rayquaza+Kyogre core as together they can beat Primal-Groudon and just overall deal large amounts of damage.

Next I added Mawile as it works well as a secondary mega alongside Rayquaza and helps with the Xerneas matchup.

I added Cresselia to set Trick Room to help against faster teams. Cresselia also provides support options to help Kyogre and Rayquaza.

I felt the team could still use extra support against Primal-Groudon so I added Landorus-T as it can it Groudon quite hard with Earthquake and provides Intimidate support to help with pokemon like Kangaskhan and Talonflame.

I originally had Amoonguss in the last slot as it works well under Trick Room and helps deal with Primal Kyogre. However after testing a bit i felt the team was too weak to Smeargle so I added Whimsicott.

I added Whimsicott over Amoonguss to help overall with the Smeargle matchup and to provide extra speed control.

Rayquaza-Mega @ Life Orb
Ability: Delta Stream
Level: 50
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Earth Power
- Dragon Ascent
- Protect
- Extreme Speed
This is a fairly standard mixed-Mega Rayquaza set bar Earth Power. I originally had Draco Meteor over it but I felt my matchup with Wide Guard Aegislash was really bad so Earth Power helps with that as well as 2HKOing Primal-Groudon. Besides Earth Power I have Dragon Ascent which after STAB and Life Orb boost does a huge chunk to anything that doesn't resist it. Extreme Speed is useful for picking off weakneded opponents.

kyogre.gif

Kyogre-Primal @ Blue Orb
Ability: Primordial Sea
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Origin Pulse
- Water Spout
- Ice Beam
- Protect
This is also a fairly standard Kyogre set that works well in both Trick Room and Tailwind depending on the matchup. Origin Pulse does lots of damage coming off of a 180 base SpA and rain boost which is the move I use most if Kyogre is weakened but still wants to get off heavy spread damage. Water Spout is the go to move when you know Kyogre is moving before your opponents pokemon as with its power it can OHKO almost any pokemon that doesn't resist it. Ice Beam hits Dragon-types such as Salamence and Rayquaza harder than with any of Kyogre's water moves.

mawile.gif

Mawile-Mega @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Iron Head
- Play Rough
- Sucker Punch
- Protect
Mawile is useful in dealing with Dragon-types and Xerneas. I am running the standard 4 moves you see on most Mawile but they all do something important. Iron Head is mainly used for hitting Xerneas as it OHKOs most variants. Mawile can easily deal with fireless Salamence and Rayquaza with Intimidate and Play Rough. Both of Mawile's STABs will do quite a bit to an unresisted target as well. Sucker Punch gives Mawile priority to help with its low speed.

cresselia.gif

Cresselia @ Mental Herb
Ability: Levitate
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 100 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Ice Beam
- Trick Room
- Skill Swap
- Helping Hand
Cresselia is the main Trick Room setter on the team and provides amazing support for the team. I'm running ice Beam over a Psychic-type move due to the fact that Cresselia isn't very offensive and being able to hit Liepard and Dragon-types harder is better than the STAB move. Trick Room can be used if the opponents team looks quite fast or if they've setup a Tailwind. Skill Swap can reset Kyogre's weather if a Primal-Groudon switches in.

landorus-therian.gif

Landorus-Therian @ Assault Vest
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Superpower
- Explosion
Landorus-Therian's job is too help get though pokemon such as Ho-Oh and Primal-Groudon. Earthquake hits Primal-Groudon and Steel-types for lots of damage. Rock Slide hits Flying-types like Talonflame and Ho-Oh and can save you with its amazing flinch chance. Superpower is mainly used for hitting Kangaskhan but it can also be used for Steel-Types if you don't want to hit your partner with Earthquake. Explosion is a fun move that can be used to deal as much damage as needed to your opponent.

whimsicott.gif

Whimsicott @ Focus Sash
Ability: Prankster
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Tailwind
- Trick Room
- Encore
- Safeguard
This Whimsicott set may look a little weird but I think its pretty good. It was suggested to me by a user on Nugget Bridge named Pikachu Head to help with my Smeargle matchup and to provide extra speed control. Tailwind can help speed up the faster pokemon on my team. Trick Room is intersting on Whimsicott but most opponents can deal with one setter but have a harder time with two. Encore is amazing with Prankster as it punishes foes for using Fake Out and Protect. Safequard stops Dark Void from Smeargle and other statuses such as Will-O-Wisp and Thunder Wave.

I hope you enjoyed the team and I would appreciate any advice to make the team better.

I'll have to say a few things I dont like after playing a few games.
1. I have to overextend to beat ferrothorn.
2. kyogre + ferrothorn is almost an autoloss.
3. after slapping in moonblast, cott is a much bigger threat.
4. Choice Band over Assault Vest Landorus-T, because
a. It chunks out a lot of pokemon.
b. superpower ohkos kanga
c. rock slide does actual damage to salamence

I broke my keyboard and am using an on screen one so won't make it long.
1)don't see the point of modest max speed ogre. 244 speed still outruns smeargle. U don't need Max Spa 76 is enough for kyogre. Rest could be used for its bulk.
2)8 speed iv's>0 speed iv's on cress(lets have 84 speed to skill swap after others 0 speed cress under TR and get ur weather up.Try 212/140/156 sassy on Cress.
3)I would run overheat on ray ferro and mawile which can be a pain for ogre teams
4)Honestly not the best whimsi set.U should run moonblast/grass knot.Safeguard is useless,Running taunt in its place is much better. And run 252 hp to tank a water spout better.so ur whimsi set-

Whimsicott@Focus Sash
252 HP/4 Spa/252 Spe
Timid nature
Moonblast/Grass Knot
Encore
Taunt
Tailwind

I feel like for Ray Overheat should be over Earth Power. The special attack drop does suck but it allows you to hit Ferro through rain while being able to hit other steels; Aegislash included. I know it might make things VS Groudon a little bit harder but even then you still got Kyogre and Lando so it shouldn't be too much of a challenge.
