My first car: 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix (April 11, 2005-January 26, 2008)
I really did like this car. It got 20 MPG for a V6 which I thought was good, but when I bought it in 05 gas was only 2 a gallon roughly. Also I crushed three deer behind the wheel of this bad boy (2 within 24 hours), and each time my car drove away almost completely unharmed. It had like 112K when I bought it and 153K when it finally met it's end. The final diagnosis was a cracked block, so I decided to just get another car.
Car 2: 2000 Kia Spectra ( Feb 11, 2008-Present)
Well, this car gets like 26 MPG which is an improvement, but after riding in a v6 for three years, it took some getting use to. The first night I had it, a wire snapped which caused some severe shaking. The dealership fixed it for free, but until about mid april, I had no confidnce in the car. I still really don't like it that much, but one of the upsides is that it only had 76K, so even if it only makes it to 150K (I drive roughly 10K a year) then it will last until I have a job teaching and I'll have enough cash to buy a Corolla or something like that.
Car 3: ??? Who knows, hopefully something that gets 60+ MPG.
