People that have national teams like Belgium and Dutch playing for Team Europe, what the hell? 
Shouldn’t Continental team be reserved for people that have no other team to play?
Doesn’t this screw over the national team? Dutch team placed last in the qualifiers and Belgium could be a very strong team with all their players.
Team Europe can hand pick a bunch of best players from anywhere they want to make themselves a super team
Didn’t this lead to someone on Austria trying to sabotage their own national team at WCoP so that they can join Team Europe?

Some of Team Europe influential members:
- Lily - Tiering Council, UU Leader, Forum Moderator
- Ruft - OU Leader
- McM - ex TD / leader, ADV Leader, one of the Smogon GOATs, Lavos destroyer
- TheFranklin - RU Leader
- Not to mention Team Europe was TonyFlygon team before
We broke up Team US into 4 smaller teams to make WCoP more competitive because there are too many good players in the US
Team Europe now do the opposite and hand pick the best players to form The Continental Super Team
Playing for Team Europe against your own national country (Belgium and Dutch) is kinda lame. Surely no one will abuse this to abandon their weak national team to join Europe super team. Not Charmflash that’s for sure
Edit:
- Rufts was literally on Team Belgium for years and then allowed to leave to join Team Europe… what the heck? You are just allowed to leave your national team to join Team Europe to play against your own country???
- 1 True Lycan was on team UK, left to join team Europe, then forced back to team UK
- Half of Team Europe rosters are literally Dutch, meanwhile the real Dutch national team were stuck in the qualifiers

I agree. It has become increasingly clear that in the World Cup of Pokemon, which is supposed to be one of the highest profile competitive events of the year, this same competitiveness has been compromised by broken continental teams which abuse holes in the current ruleset, dominating the tournament by becoming not a prideful representation of the best your country has to offer as is intended, but instead manifesting as a clique of the most skilled and influential players from several different countries.
That’s why I say we as a community need to stand up to these bullies. That’s right, it’s time to dismantle Oceania and Africa once and for all, for simply being too strong. It’s the only way we can return this tournament to a competitive state.
