The wrath of Poliwrath a uu team

This uu team is by far my most sucsessfull team, hitting a peak OF 1648. As I get into higher levels of play my team has hit a roadblock and I really need help. As the title says the team is based around Poliwrath, who is amazing.

The team

Medicham-choice scarf
move1-hi Jumpkick
move2-zen headbut
move3-tpunch
move 4-trick

Medicham is a very unexpected lead and I use that to my advantage. What Medicham does is fire off powerful STAB moves or cripple the apposing lead with Trick. Choice scarf is to outspeed all current leads except the annoying scarf Moltres.

Against top ten leads(problems in red)
Uxie-trick, if they also are a trickscarfer switch to Magmortar
Ambipom-They Fake out first turn which does alot but then Hi Jumpkick it to the face(awesome).
Mesprit-read Uxie
Omastar-Hi Jumpkick OHKOs most of the time but to be safe tpunch for 2HKO
Spiritomb-is actually very annoying I usually trick, I can heal off will-o-wisp later and switch to Magmortar
Alakazam-tpunch for the 2HKO, I'm fairly sure psychic dosen't OHKO, but I haven't seen one.
Cloyster-Hi Jumpkick
Hippodotas-I usually trick to lock into sr then hi jumpkick on the switch
Qwilfish-tpunch or zen headbutt twice.
Moltres-Medicham can't deal with it, so I switch to Blissey

Mismagius is my antispinner/special sweeper,which really likes setting up on spinners. Mismagius has swept 60% of the battles I've one because of the multiple times it can come in and set up. The moves and evs are generally straight forward, so I don't think I need to discuss much. Hp Fighting over Thunderbolt because I like the perfect coverage. Alakazam could replace Mismagius but Mismagius can take advantage of the tons of moves Poliwrath encores. Mismagius is also one of my only chances against heavy stall because of it's immunity to tspikes and spikes.

Magmortat has probably one of the ugliest sprites but has amazing satk and great type coverage. Magmortar can revenge many things with it's powerful Fire Blast and even can revenge Swellow with Tbolt. I'm thinking of making this Magmortar Timid to outspeed even more but I don't think it's necessary(help here). Hp ice is for Altaria and makes a boltbeam combination but alot weaker than ice beam. I've tried Arcanine because of it's higher speed but was to weak and missed 2HKOs on many pokes. I've tried Sceptile and many other scarfers, I just think Magmortar stuck. Anyways I'm open to suggestions for replacements.

Suggested by GTM, this Steelix works much better then Registeel and can comfortably take eqs from Torterra, Rhyperior and Aggron and just roar them out, something Registeel can't do. Steelix also has a more offensive presence and can continually Gyro ball fast sweepers for a ton of damage. Once again I put Rest on Steelix to increase it's survivablity. Steelix can 2HKO rock polish Rhyperior after the life orb damage and has a chance of taking 3 eqs with leftovers. Steelix can also still deal with Mismagius with Gyro Ball.

Chansey teamed up with Registeel can be very hard to take down, of course there's Blaziken and Rhyperior but still is a very annoying combo. Every time Registeel uses rest I can switch in Chansey and Aromatherapy, waking Registeel up and healing off all status inflicted to the team, which really helps a paralyzed Mismagius or a toxiced Poliwrath. Chansey can outstall many special attackers like Houndoom and Alakazam with Toxic and softboiled. I usually double switch first in case of Dugtrio, even then it just gives Mismagius a free sub. Chansey hasn't let me down yet, and I don't think it will ever.

Poliwrath is the glue of the team, providing support with encore and dealing strong blows to most pokes with Focus punch. I'm considering Ice punch to hit Venesaur harder than with focus punch. A not very effective focus punch hits harder then a nuetral water fall by 2 points. Of course there's ghosts like Mismagius and Rotom who resist focus punch but they still get hit by ice punch. Poliwrath has saved me in many situations, by locking a sweeper into a boosting move then setting up my own sweeper, Mismagius. Poliwrath is also my only answer to cosmic power Clefabe. Also Poliwrath can switch into Azumarill on a predicted aqua jet, which no other memeber of my team can do.

Conclusion

As I said my team has hit a roadblock, I'm not sure if it's my team or my predictions though. I'm really close to getting into to the top 50, so I guess that's my main goal of this team. My team suffers from rock polish Torterra and Rhyperior, so I really need help on that. I would really appreciate good rates.

Wow, congrats on getting such a high CRE, I'd be very lucky if I ever manage to get that far! Poliwrath is beast, I ran him in OU for a while and he kicked ass with ran Bulk Up instead of Encore, giving him more chances to sweep and boost the power of his Focus Punch. However, you seem to have good synergy with Encore on Mismagius so I won't suggest you change it.

I also ran a Steelix for quite a while and he does a good job walling Physical attacks. Unless you're desperate to keep Registeel, I'd highly recommend Steelix mostly for Roaring away threats, and for a much more powerful offense. My Steelix was Sassy and ran Gyro Ball, which kicks ass for when the opponent has a fast sweeper out and decides to keep it in o_O But if you're keeping Registeel I'd highly recommend Thunder Wave, it's come in very useful for me at least.

@GTM

Replaced Registeel with Steelix because of the reasons i've listed, that was a great suggestion thanks. I've tried Bulk up on Poliwrath and it didn't work out actually I was originally making a team based around Bulk up Poliwrath which is actually sort of funny to me.

Hi there!

You don't have a reliable Rapid Spinner, so Magmortar is gonna burn out really fast, especially since it's using a more "hit and run" set. Instead of suggesting a Spinner on your team, I'm going to suggest you switch out Magmortar for Blaziken. Blaziken has similar mixed attacking capabilities, but is neutral to SR, meaning he doesn't need as much team support and can work effectively when rocks are up. If you want it to be a revenge killer, Choice Scarf works fine, but I'd go for a mixed attacking set, as Mismagius enjoys the weakened Pokemon. A set of 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe with a Naive nature to tie with other base 80 Speed Pokemon. A moveset of Fire Blast/Hidden Power Grass/Superpower/Vacuum Wave allows Blaziken to break through a lot of common Pokemon and gives you a strong priority attack.

For Poliwrath, an alternative spread of 156HP/252Atk/100Speed Adamant allows Poliwrath to outspeed and Encore 8 Speed Milotic. This way, you can set up a Substitute on it or attack with Focus Punch. Your current Poliwrath would just be outsped and Encore a Hidden Power Grass, so I recommend you use this spread. Definitely go with Waterfall as your 2nd attack.

As for OO, I suggest switching Steelix to your lead instead of Medicham. Medicham doesn't do too well as a lead. Not that Steelix does that much better, but it's still more consistent.

Good luck and I hope this helps! :)

@Thund91

Medicham can defeat 8 of the top ten uu leads, so I think that counts as being a good lead. Other leads like Ambipom can taunt Steelix, Omastar surfs it, Moltres Fire Blasts and Steelix is also dosen't like facing trick scarfers. I will try the alternate spread for Poliwrath, I just like the extra bulk though.
I've noticed that Magmortar is hindered by sr, so I'll try Blaziken(Vacum wave can already revenge somewhat). Do you know of a spinner that would fit on my team because I think it would help more then replacing Magmortar?
