these guys were pretty fucking weird, actually the entire climax from this movie used to scare me and my friends so much; i remember crying once at the shrunken head scene out of pure fear

I was pretty scared of the dark especially if I was at my grandparents house. They live in this huge house and it is really scary at night.

At my house, there's a piece of furniture at the top of the steps. From the bottom of the steps, when it's dark, it looks like there's a shape looming around the corner, waiting to grab you.

... Or at least that's how it looked when I was "a CHILD."

Uh the movie James and the Giant Peach made me basically shit my pants, he like LIVES IN A PEACH with all these WEIRD PEOPLE and its CREEPY and UGH

(somebody should explain the plot of this movie to me since I have no dared watch it since i was like ~5-6)

Don't take his fucking nose man.

And anything with little grey aliens.

Ghosts, psychos, and undead? Eh, easy. Clowns and aliens? JESUS FUCK GET THE FUCK OUT

other monsters have complex motivations, or are just "evil." Edward Scissorhands is just an autist who can cut you up by accident. he is the most horrifying of all creatures

that episode of angle where there's that crazy ass bitch who's all rotting and stuff but she looks pretty until you touch her blood
then you see maggots crawling out of her eyeballs
fuck I couldn't watch angle or buffy for months after seeing that episode

the yeti from skiifree scared the shit out of me

needless to say i spent my first 6-7 years of life deprived of cable television/internet

edit: oh yeah and my sister convinced me that monsters lived under my bed, so i stuffed shit under my bed. problem solved

The dark basically. Found that clown movie pretty scary along with Night of the Living Dead... The remake. I watched the 60s one and it is a comedy at this point. Which is interesting. Seeing what was scary back then. Do scary movies actually scare normal adults anymore? They used to back in the day, but i don't think movies can scare anyone other than kids anymore. I'm not talking about a loud ass noise surprising the audience either.

Gushers

I thought eating them would transform my head into some crudely fruitlike object... Needless to say, they creeped me out.

Oh, and Courage the Cowardly Dog freaked everybody out to some extent.

No no no no no that episode terrorized my childhood, and because of it and my brother, gnomes are the things that scare me the most.

Edit: Oh god, why does thumbnail have to be a picture of them. *shivers*
