This ist TR OU. Rate him to make him happy.

Hi!
Because its my first Trick Room team, it´s probably a noob team. But please rate it, and at Mods: Please don´t close my thread, I have added so much words as my english allows...

claydol.png

Claydol @Life-Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Nature: +Atk / -Spe
~Trick Room
~Explosion
~Earthquake
~Stone Edge

>>Great Starter. Can bring in the trick room and do relative good damage with earthquake or stone edge. Explosion is the fastest way to switch to another Pokemon without getting damage...
The EV-Split should be clear: 252 Atk, to do massive damage with eartquake, stone edge and explosion, and 252 HP to maximise the staying power. Spe EVs in a TR team would be crap xD

machamp.png

Machamp @Life-Orb
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Nature: +Atk / -Spe
~Dynamic Punch
~Stone Edge
~Ice Punch
~Thunder Punch

>>Good, good trick room sweeper. Great coverage. Usually, its a bad sweeper, but in TR, Machamp rockz!^^
I think, I don´t have to explain the EV-Split...

ursaring.png

Ursaring @Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Nature: +Atk / -Spe
~Facade
~Close Combat
~Crunch
~Swords Dance

>>Good sweeper and statustaker. If I get toxic by the orb, or a burn by WoW, who cares?^^ I almost always get a swords dance, because I´m faster in the Trick Room than almost every Pokemon. Facade + Stab + Swords Dance + toxic hurts! Close Combat and Crunch mean a good coverage...
Again, I think, I don´t have to explain the EV-Split.

porygon2.png

Porygon2 @Life-Orb
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpA
Nature: +SpA / -Spe
~Trick Room
~Ice Beam
~Thunder Bolt
~Recover

>>Nice Trick Room sweeper and refresher. BoltBeam is a nice combination, and in the trick room, Recover is almost every time an instant refreshing.
With the EVs, stayingpower is maximized to be able to refresh the trick room often.

exeggutor.png

Exeguttor @Life-Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SpA / 4 HP
Nature: +SpA / -Spe
~Sleep Powder
~Trick Room
~Leaf Storm
~Explosion

>>Suicide Trick Room Refresher. Can refresh Trick Room, like the "name" sais, sleep other opponents to make them switch, do massive damage with leaf storm, and finally, explosion to do maaaaaassive damage at the opponent. I love this Pokemon so.^^
EV-Split should be clear. 252 Atk and SpA to do as much damage as possible with both attacks.

cacturne.png

Cacturne @Life-Orb
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SpA / 4 HP
Nature: +SpA / -Spe
~Dark Pulse
~Seed Bomb
~Thunder Punch
~Focus Blast

>>I had to find a moveset on my own :?
Cause there was no mixed moveset on smogon... So... I needed a mixed Sweeper, and Cacturne has nice offensive stats, so I took him as a special Sweeper. Dark Pulse and Seed Bomb are good Stabs, and thunder punch and focus blast make him have a better coverage.
The EV-Split is like before. 252 Atk and SpA to do as much damage as possible...

So, this is my first trick room team, so I think, it´s bad.^^

Hello! Im not very experienced at rating trick room teams (or teams in general) but I have a few suggestions.

claydol.png

Claydol @Life-Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Nature: +Atk / -Spe
~Trick Room
~Explosion
~Earthquake
~Stone Edge

>>Great Starter. Can bring in the trick room and do relative good damage with earthquake oder stone edge. Explosion is the fastest way to switch to another Pokemon without getting damage...
The EV-Split should be clear: 252 Atk, to do massive damage with eartquake, stone edge and explosion, and 252 HP to maximise
the staying power. Spe EVs in a TR team would be crap xD

I recommend giving claydol focus sash instead of Life-orb. I recommend this, because your whole team is built around claydols first trick room, and if he unexpectedly gets ohko'd, its pretty much good game for you. I have a question for you also, how would you recover if a faster (not uncommon) lead such as azelf, taunts you?

machamp.png

Machamp @Life-Orb
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Nature: +Atk / -Spe
~Dynamic Punch
~Stone Edge
~Ice Punch
~Thunder Punch

>>Good, good trick room sweeper. Great coverage. Usually, its a bad sweeper, but in TR, Machamp rockz!^^
I think, I don´t have to explain the EV-Split..

Pretty Standard

ursaring.png

Ursaring @Toxic-Orb

I recommend using a burn orb instead of a toxic orb for two reasons. One, burn does not halve a pokemons attack if it has the ability guts, so you dont have to worry about that. Second, toxic orb becomes increasingly damaging every turn, severely lowering you ursarings time to as they say, kick ass and take names. Burn orbs damage is constant, so you dont have to worry about suddenly losing half your health.

porygon2.png

Porygon2 @Life-Orb
Ability: Download
EVs: 252 HP / 120 Def / 136 SpA
Nature: +SpA / -Spe
~Trick Room
~Ice Beam
~Thunder Bolt
~Recover

>>Nice Trick Room sweeper and refresher. BoltBeam is a nice combination, and in the trick room, Recover is almost every time an instant refreshing.
With the EVs, stayingpower is maximized to be able to refresh the trick room often.

Seems alright.

Nice idea

cacturne.png

Cacturne @Life-Orb
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 SpA / 4 HP

~Seed Bomb
~Thunder Punch

The only problem I have with this team, is it seems to be completely shut down if claydol gets taunted. I dont have much experience with trick room teams, so I apologize if my advice is misleading in any way.

Is there a reason you use Download over Trace on Porygon2? Trace makes it one of the best Gyarados/Salamence/Heatran counters, while I'm not really seeing the point of Download.

Ah, ok. So Trace on Gon2. And what do you think about Double Screen on Claydol and BellyDrumSnorlax over Ursaring?

Machamp: I would suggest changing it to make the entire team UU. If you insist on keeping it, Thunderpunch gives rather redundant coverage with the listed moves, so maybe change it to Fire Blast or Focus Blast to take down Physical Wall counters.

For Claydol I'd definitely recommend Focus Sash over Life Orb, and Stealth Rock over Stone Edge. Probably shift your EVs more towards Defenses as well. Your goal should be to be sure 100% you get the trick room up turn 1 (barring the increasingly infrequent taunt users), then if they attacked, Explode with your last HP and if they didn't, set up Rocks or Quake them.

For Ursaring, I might suggest that Hammer Arm beats out Close Combat. It's a little weaker, but you're running off of a massive attack stat anyways. Lowering speed (which is really raising speed under Trick Room) seems better than lowering your defenses, which could leave you vulnerable to a priority user.

I would also suggest losing Exeggutor for Dusknoir if you keep this OU. You currently have 3 Fighting weaknesses on this team, so including an immunity to it (particularly one that can set up Trick Room) seems like a good idea.

Also Cacturne seems like it's probably outclassed by any of the Trick Room Standards: Medicham, Marrowak, Pikachu, Clamperl, Rampardos, or Rhyperior.

Ok, soooo... What do you think? Marowak is Neverused. When I use this over Machamp, I have still a great physical Sweeper, but this can be a UU Team, too.

Ok, first off your team is very scizor weak, if scizor gets off a swords dance it can easily sweep your whole team, if you are planning on turning this into a UU team that shouldn't be a problem, but if you want to keep it OU I would suggest adding a counter.

One counter that would work really well with your team would be camerupt, camerupt can be a mixed sweeper so i would sugest putting in in over cacturne.

something like this could be very effective

camerupt@ life orb
-eruption/flamethrower
-flamethrower/hp grass
-earthquake
-explosion

even if you decide to make this a uu team a still think camerupt could be a good opton over cacturne.
