Madkip (Swampert) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 236 HP/216 Def/56 SDef
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Stealth Rock
- Protect
---
Sets up rocks, which I kind of needed. Provides a nice fire resistance as I didn't have one. Earthquake and Ice Beam actually provide nice coverage- if I'm not a complete idiot and missed a bunch of types while thinking about it. Protect to scout for trick users trying to cripple dear Swampy.

Fisticuffs (Scizor) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 120 HP/244 Atk/146 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Bullet Punch
- Roost
- Swords Dance
---
Can come in on pokemon that can't hurt him significantly enough to make Roost useless. If I recall, Scizor isn't really stopped by anything besides Cresselia, Gyarados, and Zapdos which does worry me. I'm thinking of adding Quick Attack over Brick Break so as to have a nice priority to hit the pokemon I've mentioned for neutral damage.
[Insert Rotom-W Back sprite here]
Ghost in The Machine (Rotom-w) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/168 Def/88 Spd
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Discharge
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Toxic
- Will-o-wisp
---
Provides a pseudo triple status with Discharge,Toxic, and WoW. Comes in on physical sweepers and Will-o-wisps them, Toxics bulky walls such as swampert that most Rotoms have trouble dealing with, Discharge and HP[Fight] provide pretty good coverage. yeah?

Joker (Machamp) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP/40 Atk/212 Def/4 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dynamicpunch
- Payback
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
---
Counter Blissey, Weavile, Rotom appliances, and Dusknoir. Should check Mixape. It takes status better than Celery does, and Takes Blissey's toxics or thunder-waves thanks to ResTalk. I went for more bulk over attack because well, I wanted more bulk. 4 speed EV's allow me to outspeed Blissey--if I recall. I think it also counters Psycho Shift Latias and Mamoswine, does it?

JetStream (Latias) (F) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Surf
- Trick
- Dragon Pulse
---
Counters Mixape and serves as a general revenge killer with Specs on. Dragon pulse for late game STAB sweeping. Acts as an offensive supporter in that it destroys as much as it can, then cripples one of the opponent's pokemon by tricking off specs.
dpmba233.png

Disco Duck (Porygon2) @ Leftovers
Ability: Trace
EVs: 228 HP/188 Def/92 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Recover
- Thunder Wave
---
Counters most Gyarados, Salamence, and Heatran. Revenge kills Jolly CB Dugtrio, which is always nice. Provides much appreciated paralysis support, as well as countering Yanmega's that don't run HP[Fight]. Boltbeam provides nice coverage.

Please, I'd like as much help as I can get. =)

I don't really get the point of having Dragon Pulse and Meteor on the same Pokemon. Rather keep Pulse and add in Ice Beam or something. Besides that I think you've got a pretty good team!

Hey, could you keep the extremely quick and unextensive posts to yourself pkmn-taicho321?

Your lead is intriguing, although I don't see a need for protect. I suggest switching your Swampert to a more physical set, maybe a bit more offensive. How about using Avalanche over Ice Beam? Swamperts Physical stat is stronger anyways. You might want to actually use a water move anyways, how about Waterfall over Ice Beam? This gives you a bit more coverage, although it's up to you.

I can't really see how you hit dragons well, I mean, you have alot of ice users, although scarved dragons could provide a problem, the only pokeon that I see that can take them would be Swampert, who will have already been softened up as it's your lead. I suggest a scarved pokemon, you can always scarve your Latias to be able to deal with this.

Honestly, your team is pretty well balanced. I would rate a bit more, although I can't find much to rate about!

@DarkartisanI can't think of a dragon that usually runs scarf.
I've not run into one at least, though I suppose that doesn't say much.
Through my experience with this team, the only dragons that are really giving my trouble is DD Kingdra, which can be taken down if I switch in Latias early enough.
@P-T:
Draco Meteor provides a painfully powerful STAB to wear walls down faster/crush slower sweepers. Whereas Dragon Pulse allows Latias to repeatedly batter the opponent with a STAB attack in the late game, when the opposing pokemon should be quite weakened.

Protect is great on LeadPert to scout for Explosions. Although Avalanche over Ice Beam is a fine idea. Ground/Ice if near perfect coverage, no need for a water move with all the exploders.

Keep the Latias set the way it is. Meteor for blowing the hole and Pulse for sweeping late game.

I feel that Rotom/Pory2 are really holding your team together. I think you need your Rotom to stick around to deal with Scizor/Heracross/Lucario. The current set is a little too diverse, playing too many roles to be effective. I have two sets you could test. One is RestTalk, for the status if that is most important. Or, I would recommend the Scarfer to have a good plan for Lucario, as it could Crunch you if it outspeeds you.

Rotom @ Leftovers
Bold
Levitate
252 HP/120 Def/136 Sp. Def
Discharge
Will O Wisp
Rest
Sleep Talk

or

Rotom @ Choice Scarf
Timid
Levitate
4 HP/252 SP. A/252 Speed
Thunderbolt
Overheat
Trick
HP Ground

Obviously you need Toaster Rotom to do this. Thunderbolt for STAB, Overheat for the aforementioned physical threats. Trick to screw over a wall, and HP Ground to catch Heatran as Shadow Ball is largely useless.

Okay you did a nice job on this team. The first thing that comes to my mind is that you're kind of making this team more defensive than normal, with all the utility moves/high investments in defensive EV's and what not. I actually think that Porygon2 is doing little for this team. For one, Gyarados is hardly a threat to a team that has Rotom-W who obliterates him with Discharge. Unless Salamence is Scarfed or has already done a DD, Latias will outrun him and OHKO'es with Draco Meteor. Heatran is OHKO'ed by Latias's Specs boosted Surf, and will only fear a Dragon Pulse or Hidden Power Ice. If Heatran is Scarfed and you manage to switch Latias in on a Fire Blast / Earth Power, then you'll be fine. On non-Choiced Trans then you only fear Toxic or Explosion. One of them results in Heatran's KO but the other will leave you crippled.

I wouldn't run Quick Attack on Scizor because without Brick Break you're left without a way to harm other Steels and Brick Break is useful since it neutralizes your opponents Screens and it allows you to hit Heatran, normally on the switch in since you usually wouldn't have Scizor out against Heatran, but Heatran is one of the most common Scizor switch ins and it's on almost every team so that's why it's useful. I'm not sure what those Speed EV's are for, but I don't see it benefiting you. There are Speeds that you can hit to outrun certain threats, whether it be to outrun maximum Speed neutral nature Tyranitar in order to OHKO with Brick Break (224 EV's) or outrunning minimum Speed Skarmory (56 EV's), but the Speed to outrun Tyranitar might be more useful since outrunning Skarmory is only useful if you're running Superpower, which you're not. Either way, you're not going to be doing much damage to bulky Waters without X-Scissor which is one of Scizors most destructive attacks. I'd drop Roost for X-Scissor so that you'll be more offensive along with doing the previous thing I mentioned. This also gives you a better way to handle Celebi along with having a way to cause great damage against Latias. Stay clear of HP Fire from Celebi, though.

I know you probably think that Rotom will be able to outlast the opponent by constantly inflicting status but I think you're forgetting that a few Pokemon can wall you. Celebi completely walls that set you're using, due to resisting Fighting/Electric and can switch out and recover status from WoW and Toxic via Natural Cure. Latias resists those attacks too and can cause trouble if it has Psycho Shift even though that's not as common as an offensive Latias. Other Rotom forms will wall you completely if they are running Substitute since this prevents them from being status'd along with not taking hardly any damage from your Rotom's current attacks. At least if you ran Shadow Ball somewhere you'll have a way for Rotom to take care of all the mentioned threats along with being a bit more offensive with a decent strength STAB attack. I'd go ahead and drop Hidden Power Fighting for Shadow Ball. I know you won't be able to hit Heatran/Blissey or Darks that way but Machamp takes care of Blissey along with Dark types like Tyranitar/Weavile and Latias has Heatran covered.

You might counter a Psycho Shift Latias, but other than that I would keep Machamp away from Latias. It's not a huge issue really, but I would go for more Attack EV's so at least you can pack a strong punch along with the confusion that will always be occurring with DynamicPunch.

Not much else to be said really since it's a pretty solid team. If you're unsure about anything I said tell me and I'll try sort it out. Anyways, hope this advice helps.
