[SET COMMENTS]

Choice Band provides Thwackey with immediate power, whilst Choice-locking Thwackey into a single move. This trade-off allows Thwackey to revenge and OHKO faster frail Pokemon such as Rotom and Cinccino. This is due to its priority Grassy Glide under Grassy Terrain. Wood Hammer is used to Wallbreack against slower targets like Alcremie, Audino and Clefairy. U-turn allows Thwackey to pivot out, notably against Tangela, Shiftry and Malamar. Knock Off allows Thwackey to cripple checks such as Tangela, Rapidash, and Altaria.

Due to Thwackey consistently pivoting on its checks with U-turn, such as Tangela, Rapidash and Altaria. Thwackey is often part of a VoltTurn core to help threaten its checks. Teammates consists of slow pivots such as Wishiwashi and Uxie and faster wallbreackers and stallbreackers such as Thieval, Rotom-Frost and Stunktank. Skunktank also works as a great stand-alone partner thanks to Thwackey's Grassy Terrain support halving Earthquake damage whilst Skunktank helps threatens Tangela. Other Pokemon such as Qwilfish, Klinklang and Stunfisk also appreciate taking reduced Earthquake damage, in addition to extra passive recovery.

[SET COMMENTS]

Swords Dance allows Thwackey to function as a powerfull sweeper thanks to it's boosted attack in combination with its STAB priority Grassy Glide under Grassy Terrain. In addition, Swords Dance can also be used to wallbreack against pokemon such as Alcremie, Audino, and Clefairy. Eviolite provides additional bulk allowing more setup opportunities. Knock Off is used to cripple checks such as Tangela, Rapidash and Altaira on their first time switching in whilst U-turn is used to pivot out thereafter.

Thanks to the additional bulk from eviolite, Swords Dance Thwackey is more durable than its Choice Band counterpart, allowing parters to benefit from Grassy Terrain effects more often. This should be taken into account when building. Rhydon and Piloswine help threaten out checks in Rapidash and Altaria, whilst also providing Stealth Rocks to help wear them down once they are Knocked Off. A slight drawback however is that you need to use High Horsepower instead of Earthquake due to Grassy Terrain halving Earthquakes damage output. Wallbreakers and Stallbreackers such as Theival, Rotom-Frost and Skunktank all appreciate being brought in safetly by Thwackey’s U-turn whilst in return threatening Tangela.

Other Options
=============

Drain Punch is sometimes used as a coverage move, notably to hit Steel types such as Sandslash-Alola, Klinklang and Ferroseed. However adding Drain Punch is often not recommend as dropping U-turn means you cant pivot out on checks. Utility moves such as Leech Seed and Taunt are also used somewhat instead of Swords Dance to help cripple some of its checks. Using these utility options is often not worth it however due to the lackluster damage output when removing Swords Dance.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fire-types**: Faster fire types such as Rapidash and Ninetales resist Grassy Glide and can then revenge kill Thwackey. They need to be wary on switching in however as Thwackey can remove their Heavy Duty Boots with Knock Off

**Poison-types**: Poison types like Skunktank, Silvally-Poison and Golbat resist Grassy Glide and can then threaten Thwackey with their STAB attacks.

**Physical Walls**: Physical walls such as Tangela and Altaria resist Grassy Glide and can force Thwackey out. Both are crippled by Knock Off however.

Choice Band provides Thwackey with immediate power, whilst Choice-locking Thwackey into a single move. This trade-off (fluff) allows Thwackey to revenge and OHKO faster frail Pokemon such as Rotom and Cinccino. This is due to with its priority Grassy Glide under Grassy Terrain. Wood Hammer is used to Wallbreack against break through slower targets like Alcremie, Audino and Clefairy you can find better examples than special walls. U-turn allows Thwackey to pivot out, notably against Tangela, Shiftry and Malamar NO! not notably against U-turn weak foes but against foes it can't break with its Grass-moves and can't/don't want to cripple with Knock Off (Skuntank, PoisonVally, Gourgeist-XL, Lurantis, Shiinotic). Knock Off allows Thwackey to cripple checks such as Tangela, Rapidash, and Altaria by removing their precious Eviolite or Heavy-Duty Boots, mention it also lets it heavily damage Gourgeist-S. Don't forget to mention what Grassy Surge does.

Due to Thwackey consistently pivoting on its checks with U-turn, such as Tangela, Rapidash and Altaria., Thwackey is often part of a VoltTurn core to help threaten its checks. Teammates consists of slow pivots such as Wishiwashi and Uxie can you rewrite these two sentences to just state that Thwackey's access to U-turn lets it work well with other VoltTurn pivots? and faster wallbreackers and stallbreackers such as Thieval, Rotom-Frost and Stunktank. Thievul and Rotom-Frost aren't stallbreaker and you didn't explain why other breakers work well with Thwackey.

Swords Dance allows Thwackey to function as a powerfull sweeper thanks to it's boosted attack in combination with its STAB priority Grassy Glide under Grassy Terrain. Despite its name, SD Thwackey's main appeal over band isn't being a strong sweeper, it is to be early game a potent pivot that can knock off items and generate momentum, and late game to be a strong cleaner. In addition, Swords Dance can also be used to wallbreack against lets it break bulky pokemon Pokemon such as Alcremie, Audino, and Clefairy you can find better examples than special walls. Eviolite provides additional bulk allowing more setup opportunities. You either mention this after all moves or in overview when you say it's a good pivot. Knock Off is used to cripple checks such as Tangela, Rapidash and Altaira on their first time switching in whilst U-turn is used to pivot out thereafter mention that Knock Off isn't crippling every check, so U-turn can be a good play even before clicking knock. Mention Grassy Surge's choice.

Thanks to the additional bulk from eviolite, Swords Dance Thwackey is more durable than its Choice Band counterpart, allowing parters to benefit from Grassy Terrain effects more often. This should be taken into account when building. Instead of saying this, just mention partners that appreciate the passive recovery and the eq nerf. Rhydon and Piloswine help threaten out checks in Rapidash and Altaria, whilst also providing Stealth Rocks to help wear them down once they are Knocked Off lost their item. A slight drawback however is that you need to use High Horsepower instead of Earthquake due to Grassy Terrain halving Earthquakes damage output. fluff Wallbreakers and Stallbreackers such as Theival Thievul, Rotom-Frost, and Skunktank all appreciate being brought in safetly safely by Thwackey’s U-turn whilst in return threatening Tangela, there isn't just Tangela smh. Mention VoltTurn cores in general.

Drain Punch is sometimes used as a coverage move, notably to hit Steel types such as Sandslash-Alola, Klinklang and Ferroseed as well as the rare Sap Sipper Miltank and Bouffalant. Those ones are just too bad. Mention Terrain Extender in Grassy Glide spam team and that these teams are bad in the current metagame.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Fire-types**: Faster fire types such as Rapidash and Ninetales resist Grassy Glide and can then revenge kill Thwackey. They need to be wary on switching in however as Thwackey can remove their Heavy Duty Boots with Knock Off. Mention Rapidash's Flame Body.

**Poison-types**: Poison types like Skunktank, Silvally-Poison, and Golbat resist Grassy Glide and can then threaten Thwackey with their super effective STAB attacks.

**Physical Walls**: Physical walls such as Tangela and Altaria resist Grassy Glide and can force Thwackey out. Both are crippled by Knock Off however. Make this two points: flying-types and bulky grass-types.

Also mention Sap Sipper users, even if they are scarce.
