A Team around Heatran and Celebi

Here I present my team which has a good winning chance in todays metagame, thanks to several Pokemon in this team.

Comments

The core is the great double combo Heatran and Celebi
They both are great offensive partner with good bulk. They cover each other weakness. Celebi is a offensive minded supporter, helping Heatran with Thunder Wave, destroying Suicune with a STAB Leaf Storm, and Recover off Spike and LO Damage(What is useful against stall). Heatran is a Choice Specser, in my opinion the most ferasome set from it, destroying everything with a good Overheat, or Flash Fire boosted Fire Blast. The other attacks are just for couverage.

After making the core, I have to cover the greatest counters in OU:
-"All" Dragons(Latias and Mence)
-ScarfTyranitar
-Blissey
-Thunder Wave (although Celebi has Natural Cure, it is still annoying)
-Special mention goes to Kingdra, since it makes alot of trouble, since my celebi is more offensive minded
-Speed is not that high
-Gyarados
-Lucario

Since Blissey and Tyranitar are weak to Fightning Attacks, and it does not lose to Fire Punch from Tar, I choose Machamp as a Sleep Talker. His Weakness are covered by the core, but he has some important role, since it has Stonde Edge instead of Payback, he can kill BounceDos and to a lesser extent Salamence. But don't forget, since all my pokemon can damage both (via status or damage), it's hard for the enemy to get a sweep and it's bulky, so it does not die like lucario by one hit. It also like Para a lot, so it likes Celebi being his partner. So I have a backup to the great special core.

Now I still have a problem with
"All" Dragons
Kingdra
Lacking Speed
Gyarados
Lucario

Gyarados,Kingdra, Latias and Mence fails to win against following pokemon: Empoleon! I understand you thinking "Empoleon is never defensive", and I agree, but don't underrate it. Having maybe the best defensive typing is really useful, and it's defensive movepool is really good, sporting Yawn as one of the best annying moves.

Now following are problematic:

Speed
Mence(Earthquake)
Lucario

Since I make a "Synergy Team", the best Pokemon Partner for Empoleon are Gliscor or Latias, and I choose Latias for several reasons:
It use Wish to support ALL my pokemon
It works well with Heatran to
It's pretty fast
The only Problem left is:
Lucario
I miss a good Lead, who does not need so much support from the other pokemon. The Lead I choose is:
Gliscor! This guy is in my opinion a pokemon lead, which has no downsides: It can win with Earthquake against a lot leads, can Taunt several slower pokemon, and it is maybe the best counter to Lucario. And a addiotional point why he is so great, it pairs up really well with Empoleon

So I made a team about this 6 Pokemon:
Gliscor
Latias
Empoleon
Machamp
Heatran
Celebi

very good team
only think i can suggest is that you replace fireblast with flamethower because flamethower is powerful enough with stab and fireblast has a accuracy of 70% where flamethower has 100%

Your sugggest my friend was really helpful! I noticed today, that I got pressure stalled, and because Fire Blast ahs only 8PP I lost. But with FT, i have more PP + I normally use Overheat first, and FlameT at the end. Good Idea, I change this

Just a point that your team gets destroyed by DD gyara, Offensive Suicune and even Scarf T-tar.

Suggestions

Latias: I would suggest giving Latias a chioce Scarf as it allows it to revenge DD's such as Salamence and Gyarados which your team has trouble with.

Celebi I would change to the Lead set and get rid of Gliscor mainly becasue you have no mixed sweepersand you need the space in your team for one.

Machamp is fine authough I would suggest the subChamp set as it eases prediction and Celebi is fine for switching in on Status and things.

Heatran is fine so keep it how it is if you want in to be spec'ed

Since Scarfing Latias takes care of your dragons you have not need for Empoleon so an Offensive Suicune could do the rick with a Bulky or Offensive EV spread while will allow it to sweep better.

Lastly since Gliscor is out I thing a Salamence (the Mixmence) set will help aginst Stall.
Thats it, Sorry for the short rate, its 5am here and im quite tired so maybe ill take another look tomorrow (or later today lol)

Keep in mind that the above are suggestions, you don't have to use any of them if you think they will not work, but test them and let us know how things are.

PS: You may want to expand you descriptions on your pokemon (ie what is does why you choose it etc) or this thread may be locked

Before someone locks this, you may want to give a description of each pokemon and their moveset. I believe it is against the rules to just post the moveset and not describe anything about their EVs, moves, etc...

I would like you to test surf over refresh on latias because scizor will constantly take advantage of your only attack being dragon pulse and U-Turn to kill or get an advantageous switch.

And also, may I ask why your empoleon does not have surf? Excuse me if there is a good reason but with its more defensive approach you need all the power you can get and STAB surf from base 111 sp. attack is actually very powerful, even on your defensive pokemon. I don't really see the purpose of protect on empoleon besides to wait out yawn even though they will most likely switch anyways, so you may want to test surf over protect.
