  • Ting-Lu is a key Pokemon for many playstyles in SV Ubers, ranging from stall to bulky offense.
  • Whirlwind helps Ting-Lu against Substitute users like Flutter Mane and Baxcalibur and other threatening hyper offense Pokemon such as Agility + Calm Mind Miraidon.
  • Tera Steel lets Ting-Lu check Pokemon such as Flutter Mane, Chien-Pao, and Iron Bundle. Tera Ghost, on the other hand, lets Ting-Lu soft check physical attackers such as Great Tusk, Koraidon locked into Close Combat, Iron Hands, and Iron Valiant. Tera Fire is another option that lets Ting-Lu soft check and beat Chi-Yu one-on-one. Lasty, Tera Fairy is also an option to check Dragon-types and have an overall good defensive typing against Pokemon that would normally overwhelm Ting-Lu, such as Choice Specs Miraidon.
  • Ting-Lu works best as a defensive pivot on bulky offense teams, capitalizing on its massive natural bulk and ability Vessel of Ruin to set Spikes against Pokemon like Miraidon and Chi-Yu, tank big hits, and recover HP with Protect.
  • Pokemon that appreciate Ting-Lu's ability to wear down opposing Ground-types with Spikes, such as Miraidon and Koraidon, are excellent partners for it. Other defensive Pokemon such as Iron Treads, Corviknight, and Blissey relieve pressure of Ting-Lu by helping to check Miraidon; they also check Flutter Mane, and Corviknight additionally helps check Chien-Pao.

Tera Fire should be the first listed tera type, it lets Ting-Lu act as a decent check/lure for Chi-Yu which provides wayyyyy more utility than Steel does by just doing that. Plus it also provides you some use against Flutter Mane etc just like what Steel does.
Steel is good if you already have a Chi-Yu check like Dachsbun. Ghost just isn't worth it over either of these two options.

IMO Stealth Rock shouldn't even be listed, the only thing in the metagame Rocks hits is Corviknight, otherwise Spikes hits more. Plus, it's way easier to fit rocks on another mon.

Otherwise looks good, I will stamp after seeing changes

implemented some mentions on tera fire; while i can see it being alright, as chi-yu is a menace, the rocks weakness and no longer being immune to electric are a bit too much imo as they cut on your defensive niche too hard. ill leave it at that
also added mentions on defensive partners like iron treads, corviknight and blissey.
edit: slashed tera ghost first, tera steel second and tera fire third.

Lasen might want to help you with the GP standards before you send this off to get GP'd, but I'm going to piggyback off of Manaphy's check and say that it looks good with the changes you've made. I'd add Tera Fairy on it as an option too, in line with this thread.

QC 1/2.

  • Ting-Lu is a jack of all trades, being a key Pokemon for many of SV Ubers' playstyles in SV Ubers, ranging from stall to bulky offense.
  • Protect lets you scout enemy moves while recovering HP.(Dex info) Whirlwind, on the other hand, helps Ting-Lu against substitute users and other threatening Hyper Offense Pokemon, such as Agility + Calm Mind Miraidon. Whirlwind helps Ting-Lu against Substitute users (like?) and other threatening hyper offense Pokemon such as Agility + Calm Mind Miraidon.

Tera Ghost, on the other hand, let's Ting-Lu soft-check lets Ting-Lu soft check physical attackers such as Great Tusk, Koraidon locked on into Close Combat, Iron Hands, and Iron Valiant. Tera Fire is another option that lets you Ting-Lu soft check and beat Chi-Yu 1v1 one-on-one. Lasty, Tera Fairy is an option too to check dragons and to have a good overall defensive typing, taking neutral damage by every Pokemon that would otherwise overwhelm Ting-Lu. Tera Fairy is also an option to check Dragon-types and have an overall good defensive typing against Pokemon that would normally overwhelm Ting-Lu (like?).
  • Ting-Lu works best as a defensive pivot on bulky offense teams, capitalizing on it's its massive natural bulk and ability Vessel of Ruin to set-up spikes on set Spikes against Pokemon like Miraidon and Chi-Yu,(AC) to then click protect to recover some HP after tanking tank big hits,(AC) and recover HP with Protect.
  • Pokemon that appreciate Ting-Lu's ability to wear down opposing ground types with spikes, such Miraidon and Koraidon, are excellent partners for it. Other defensive Pokemon, such as Iron Treads, Corviknight or Blissey, are excellent partners for Ting-Lu as they relieve some pressure off of it in checking Miraidon, but they also help Ting-Lu by checking Flutter Mane and, in the added case of Corviknight, Chien-Pao.
