Ting-Lu @ Leftovers
Ability: Vessel of Ruin
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Tera Type: Poison / Ghost
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock / Spikes
- Ruination / Spikes / Stone Edge
- Whirlwind

[SET COMMENTS]
Ting-Lu is a sturdy specially defensive wall thanks to its high bulk further augmented by Vessel of Ruin. Because of this, Ting-Lu is more than capable of handling common special attackers such as Heatran, Moltres, and Volcarona. Its Dark typing is also useful to check Stored Power setup sweepers such as Cresselia as well as absorb Future Sight from Tapu Lele and Galarian Slowking. Ting-Lu also functions as an exceptional entry hazard setter, as it can easily set up Stealth Rock and Spikes against threats such as Tapu Koko, Zapdos, and Heatran. Ting-Lu is capable of checking even more threats with Tera Poison, such as Iron Valiant, Mega Lopunny, Sneasler, and Zamazenta, while also gaining an immunity to poison. Tera Ghost is a good alternative that allows Ting-Lu to block Rapid Spin from Great Tusk while keeping a good matchup into Sneasler and Zamazenta. Ruination helps force progress against potential switch-ins to Ting-Lu such as Landorus-T, Ferrothorn, Mega Charizard Y, and Rotom-W. Alternatively, Spikes can be run in conjunction with Stealth Rock on more offensive structures in order to provide additional entry hazard support, but this makes Ting-Lu a lot more passive against threats such as Tornadus-T, Landorus-T, Gliscor, and Mega Charizard Y. Ting-Lu can also run Stone Edge in order to better check Mega Charizard Y, Volcarona, and Moltres. Finally, Whirlwind is a vital move in order to deter setup sweepers such as Tera Grass Volcarona, and Nasty Plot Tornadus-T. Ting-Lu is great at supporting partners such as Iron Valiant and Zamazenta by dealing with their checks such as Cresselia and Galarian Slowking while providing entry hazard support. In return, they can help deal with threats such as Ferrothorn, Great Tusk, and Baxcalibur. On more defensive teams, partners such as Skarmory and Toxapex appreciate Ting-Lu's ability to take on threats such as Fire-types such as Volcarona and Heatran and Electric-types such as Tapu Koko and Zapdos for them. In return, they can help Ting-Lu deal with dangerous physical attackers such as Mega Lopunny and Sneasler. Ting-Lu hates having to deal with Flying-types such as Tornadus-T and Gliscor, so partners such as Baxcalibur and Rotom-W are apprecated to help deal with them. Grass-types such as Ogerpon-W, Kartana, and Ferrothorn also annoy Ting-Lu, so teammates such as Zapdos, Tornadus-T, and Dragonite are good partners to check them for it. Water-types such as Rotom-W and Mega Swampert also give Ting-Lu trouble, so Grass-type partners such as Ferrothorn, Ogerpon-W, and Rillaboom are good at shoring up that weakness.

Ting-Lu is a strong specially defensive wall in the metagame thanks to its high bulk further augmented by Vessel of Ruin. Because of this, Ting-Lu is more than capable of handling common special attackers such as Gholdengo, Bloodmoon Ursaluna (he uh...doesnt have a great time, go with another mon instead like Iron Moth perhaps), and Volcarona. Its Dark-typing is also useful to check Stored Power setup sweepers such as Cresselia while also being able to block Future Sight from Tapu Lele and Galarian Slowking. Ting-Lu also functions as an exceptional entry hazard setter, having its pick of either Stealth Rock or Spikes to support its team and can set up easily against threats such as Tapu Koko, Zapdos, and Heatran. With Terastallization, Ting-Lu is capable of checking even more threats with Tera Poison such as Iron Valiant, Mega Lopunny, Sneasler, Tornadus-Therian, (ig good into np focus blast? should specify that if so but i dont like the example generally) and Zamazenta. Ruination helps force progress against potential switch-ins to Ting-Lu such as Landorus-Therian, Ferrothorn, Mega Charizard Y, and Rotom-Wash. Alternatively; Spikes can be run in conjunction with Stealth Rock on more offensive structures in order to provide additional entry hazard support, but this makes Ting-Lu a lot more passive into threats such as Tornadus-Therian, Landorus-Therian, Gliscor, and Mega Charizard Y. Finally Whirlwind is a vital move in order to deter setup sweepers such as Bloodmoon Ursaluna, Tera Flying Gholdengo (u cant ww ghold :P), Tera Grass Volcarona, and Nasty Plot Tornadus-Therian. Ting-Lu is great at supporting partners such as Iron Valiant and Zamazenta by dealing with their checks such as Gholdengo, Cresselia, and Galarian Slowking while providing entry hazard support. In return they can help deal with threats such as Ferrothorn, Great Tusk, and Baxcalibur. On more defensive teams, partners such as Skarmory and Toxapex apprecate Ting-Lu being able to deal with threats such as Volcarona and Heatran for them (id mention electrics like koko/zap asw); and in return they can help Ting-Lu deal with dangerous physical attackers such as Mega Lopunny, Sneasler, Ting-Lu hates having to deal with Flying-types such as Tornadus-Therian and Gliscor, so partners such as Baxcalibur and Rotom-Wash are apprecated to help deal with them. Grass types such as Ogerpon-Wellspring, Kartana, and Ferrothorn also annoy Ting-Lu so pokemon such as Zapdos, Tornadus-Therian, and Dragonite are good partners to check them for it. Water-types such as Rotom-Wash and Mega Swampert also give Ting-Lu trouble, so Grass-type partners such as Ferrothorn, Ogerpon-Wellspring, and Rillaboom are good at shoring up that weakness. In return Ting-Lu can support all of its partners by checking threats such as Gholdengo, Heatran, and Tapu Koko respectively while also providing entry hazard support for them.
