Hey, so I'm just going to keep this simple and brief. Don't bother Richard Pepper anymore, either through replying "-rp" on his posts or elsewhere like on Discord/whatever other platform. Just leave him alone and be on your way. I know you're all most likely not equally involved or that there might be others that I didn't include here, but the message stays the same. This will be the only and final warning. If I see this behavior continuing I'll infract those involved and disable the ability to react to posts. Hello everyone and welcome to TLT Playoffs Round 1 :Smogjynx: ​

I am the Great Mellow ! Renowned player known throughout France, I climbed to the top of the top 1 Girl Category France. But I am also nicknamed Mellow Grand Ecran ! Having covered very very big tournaments like the TPP as well as BLT, I will bring you closer to the action every match thanks to a great tool called Pokémon Showdown Replay. You will be able to live and admire each match of your favorite player ! :Gengar:

In order to reward your victory, you have the possibility of obtaining a small custom avatar next to your name ^^ I ask to choose the Pokémon of your choice that will represent you in the tournament (Your favorite Pokémon, a powerful Pokémon or whatever) :Smogjynx:

(0) kythr vs Roxiee (100): I said it before this round went up that Roxiee makes it to top 8 and nothing is going to change my mind.

(55) saba1111 vs blinkboy (45): both really good players that I think are on the same level. My gut feeling predicts saba to win.

(35) FatFighter2 vs Cheese5555 (65): FF2 has shown that he plays solid but I think Cheese is just better.

(60) TheFranklin vs PokeArt2004♥ (40): Poke had a pretty good TLT run so far but arce9 is just really good.

(75) Luthier vs Ronman5 (25): rip Ronman5

(80) 100%GXE vs Mr. DoTooMuch (20): rip random person that I don't know

(60) Decem vs Hys (40): I still don't really know a lot about Hys so yeah, I think Decem wins

(60) Let's Rumble Shall We vs RaJ.Shoot (40): Both are solid players. Going with HR1 because I've been more impressed with his TLT run so far while Raj struggled a bit (against imo better opponents but still).

(110) TeamCharm69 vs lkapkd1 (-10): I still refuse to ever ever ever bold Lkap

(70) Sensei Axew vs 7u9i2 (30): Sensei had a pretty good run so far and I don't think it'd end here.

(70) APW001 vs Angels & Airwaves (30): Same as above.

(40) EternalSnowman vs MJ (60): also two really good players. Picking MJ because ESM struggled here and there in the previous rounds.

(70) Stareal vs Alternatif (30): somebody that I lost to versus somebody that I won against. Star should win this.

(60) iNoLife vs RichardPepper (40): iNoLife is better imo but Richard can definetly win this.

APW001 (65%) vs Angels & Airwaves (35%): Liverpool-West Bromwich. Mal is better, but strange days happen.

EternalSnowman (40%) vs MJ (60%): I'm a fan of ESM but he doesn't seem in a good moment

Stareal (70%) vs Alternatif (30%): Stallreal destroy these baguette eaters and Mona Lisa thieves
 
some expert predictions from yours truly

1. kythr vs 32. Roxiee- I think Roxiee is a lot better of a player than to get the last ranking in playoffs, but there is just no way I see Roxiee beating Kythr here. I see Kythr winning this as well as next round against the winner of Saba/Blinkboy, which I predict Kythr will get to the Final 4 vs what I predict to be against the winner of the GXE Luthier match.

16. saba1111 vs 17. blinkboy - I think this is a pretty evenly matched match, we saw a lot of good stuff from both these players throughout the tour except for Saba when he was using GXE's rain, which I think he lost every time he used that, correct me if I'm wrong. I think Saba is a bit better though and I predict him to win in a close one.

8. FatFighter2 vs 25. Cheese5555- I think FatFighter2 is garbage, and Cheese is just much better here. Cheese should win ez 3-0.

9. TheFranklin vs 24. PokeArt2004♥- Arce9 seems to have turned on the jets from his week 1 loss to KabilaPok. From what I remember he lost ubers straight up, and then only lost RU on some unfortunate luck. Seems to be the consensus he is one of the best players in this tour, and I can agree with that from playing him a bunch, and he should be favored here against Pokeart but it is not unwinnable for Poke, although Poke themselves may think it is. I predict Arce to win this, and the next round, but then lose to Kythr in the Elite 8.

4. Luthier vs 29. Ronman5. Not much to say Luth should win easy, but then assuming him and GXE both win (which they easily should) they will be playing next week, which should be one of the HL matches of the entire tour, as there was a very good chance these two would have met in finals otherwise.

13. 100%GXE vs 20. Mr. DoTooMuch- Exact same thing I said for Luth.

5. Decem vs 28. Hys- Decem should win this although XHys is a pretty good player, so this should be a pretty fun and close series imo.

12. Let's Rumble Shall We vs 21. RaJ.Shoot- Tbh not sure why everyone is picking HaiLRay here, I think Raj is just much better here. No offense to HailRay, but I just have been more impressed with Raj than what I have seen from HailRay. HR played solid in his NU game vs Kythr, but then was just completely dominated at the end of the UU game, which I would credit Kythr more with just playing great, than HR playing bad per say, but thats about all I was really impressed with by him so far.

2. TeamCharm69 vs 31. lkapkd1- lol.

15. Miraage vs 18. Gray- Would have predicted Gray, both are pretty solid players, but I would have picked Gray based on the fact that he got to OLT playoffs. But gray kind of really threw that RU game at the end. Gambit or Mirage or whatever his name is now looked very good though, and is a player I think to potentially watch out for.

7. Sensei Axew vs 26. 7u9i2- I think Axew should win this pretty easily, although 7u9i2 has impressed me in looking pretty decent so far in TLT.

10. Sificon vs 23. SiceXV- I think this should be one of the best/closest series, slightly behind ESM/MJ and Blink/Saba, both have looked solid so far but Sice has impressed me a bit more. Before this tour I thought Sice was just some troll who liked to talk a lot of trash, but I have gained some respect for him throughout this, as well as seeing that he can play very well. I think Sice should win this in a close one 3-2.

3. APW001 vs 30. Angels & Airwaves- I think Mal is better here, and should win this one pretty cleanly, and play the winner of ESM/MJ next week. Mal has looked very solid so far in TLT, except kind of getting dominated in 2 vs Stareal. I think next week will be a big test for Mal to see if he can really play at the highest level of some of the tourney favorites and what not.

14. EternalSnowman vs 19. MJ- not much to say here, I don't know these 2 players like a lot of other people do, for sure a HL match between two great players. Will be super close, and I'm pretty sure they both probably are very familiar with how the other plays so I don't really want to predict here, as I think this could go either way

6. Stareal vs 27. Alternatif- Tbh Stareal is a great player there is no doubt about that, but I am not fond of his attitude at all, as I have only had unpleasant interactions with him on this site so far. Being one of the best players is not an excuse for being an asshole, so I hope he loses, although he probably wont. More than likely though we should see him in the Final 4 if he can beat the winner of ESM/MJ.

11. iNoLife vs 22. RichardPepper- iNoLife I believe is a bit better here, pretty sure was the only one who beat Kythr in a game all tour, and has looked pretty solid. Richard can make this close if he brings some fun sets like he usually does, but I hope this time he doesn't switch his RegiEleki into garchomp, or his Rilla into Heatran (as he did in previous rounds). But I'm gonna go with iNoLife here.

1. kythr vs 32. Roxiee- 58% Both are S tier rn imo, ig, ok. Roxiee has edge bc kythr's profile pic is a flower and roxiee's is a girl and girls eat flowers I think.

16. saba1111 vs 17. blinkboy - 102% Whoa saba has Yamato as his profile pic. Def advantage. Actually now he is favored to win the whole tour. Much stronger right now than blinkboy's... I dont even know what that is. Saba bring rain teams to put out that fire. I am sure it will work.

8. FatFighter2 vs 25. Cheese5555- 67% Megumin vs a dancing cheese. I like the Megumim pic and I guess you can try explosion magic on the cheese but... he is just too cheesy. Plus cheese is a really good player and should win this if he takes it seriously.

9. TheFranklin vs 24. PokeArt2004♥- 71% TheFranklin sports a sophisticted looking owl in a hat while pokeart has "swine-luv." Quite frankly I have never seen an owl wear a hat. I do not think that is an accurate portrayal of reality. I do have an affinity for swinub (btw ice ground hits the most mon for se damage) so I have to give this to PokeArt.

4. Luthier vs 29. Ronman5. -99% I like Ron's Shamir fanart and I have always enjoyed that character, but I image searched Luthier's and it came up with "you hear but are you listening you look but can you see." WTF. Ok not gonna pick against luthier. I mean that is saying that while we have the engrained technical abilities to analyze the world (or its aproximization) we have to choose to utilize them. Deep.

13. 100%GXE vs 20. Mr. DoTooMuch- 99% Generic Cryogonal is Mr. DoTooMuch. Not good. Def loss. GXE's is pretty trippy too. The rain with all the psychedelic colors. Definitely an image I do not want to look at for too long, but its pretty cool.

5. Decem vs 28. Hys- 54% This one is hard. Ok, on one hand Decem is pretty good at pokemon and has Hyugin from Loona as a profile pic. On the other hand Hys is aiight at pokemon and has MCR as his profile pic. Any other member from Loona and wouldve gave Hys the win here but Hyugin is too precious.

12. Let's Rumble Shall We vs 21. RaJ.Shoot- 84% Raj you can throw your sports anime down a black hole. smh so bad.

2. TeamCharm69 vs 31. lkapkd1- 93% Lkap's Meme was funny like 6 years ago (Meanwhile I still find him hilarious). TeamCharm wins bc scrappy can hit ghost types making fighting super effective against dark ghost.

15. Miraage vs 18. Gray- 99% Jujutsu Kaisen is really good, def worth the watch if you havent checked it out already. Satoru Gojo can totally kick both calvin and hobbes butts. Miraage has proven me wrong a lot in this tour. He is very dangerous.

7. Sensei Axew vs 26. 7u9i2- 84% Sensei Axew has more experience and should be able to pull through. This is evident by his profile pic being Jack Hughs of the new jersey devils, thus showing his interest in Hockey on a Pokémon site, against a generic Hoopa which shows interest of Pokémon on a pokemon site.

10. Sificon vs 23. SiceXV- 67% Sifi makes his generic bounsweet picture work. That is a lot more than what I can say for whatever Sice was going for.

3. APW001 vs 30. Angels & Airwaves- 51% Upset. Y'all sleep on upsets but they happen. Mal is a solid player but I have never been too impressed by what I see. His takin with of incinaroar shall prove his ides of march. Plus Gleiphnir's action sequences and deepness really put angels over here.

14. EternalSnowman vs 19. MJ- 73% Highlight match for sure, don't need me to tell you all that. MJ's Kame house gif is pretty cool. Much better than the forgettable anime esm's gif comes from, never watched it though.

6. Stareal vs 27. Alternatif- 64% Wakanda losses to Dr. strange. Alternatif has a top hat = magic = dr strange. This Alternatif wins.

11. iNoLife vs 22. RichardPepper- 75% Short hair anime girls will always find a way to win against the Beatles.

Also luthiers is from an anime where a young boy teases and hurts a young deaf girl as a child and ruins his life (socially at school) until high school where he meets the girl again and tries to right the wrong he made as a young boy

if you have time its worth a watch, its a short anime movie called A Silent Voice.


As for me I really like how all the comments are basically how luthiers gonna crush me like a bug lol I understand the hype though
