Winners

:ss/palkia:
Pokémon: Palkia
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Dragon/Water
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Spacerip
G-Max Move Type: Dragon
G-Max Move Description: The opponent's pokemon's HP is set to the HP of lowest amount of remaining hp on the team. (Not including KOed mons) before the attack hits.
Competitive Overview: For when you just wanna finish of a mon but it switched out.
:ss/dialga:
Pokémon: Dialga
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Dragon/Steel
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Rewind
G-Max Move Type: Dragon
G-Max Move Description: The opponent's HP is set to the lowest it has been in the game.
Competitive Overview: For when you just wanna finish of a mon but it has recovery.
:sm/regigigas:
Pokemon: Regigigas
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Normal
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Regi-lution
G-Max Move Type: Normal
G-Max Move Description: Has a different effect if the target is Rock, Ice, Steel, Dragon, or Electric-type
- If the target is Rock-type, lowers the opponent(s)'s Defense by 1
- If the target is Ice-type, lowers the opponent(s)'s Special Defense by 1
- If the target is Steel-type, lowers the opponent(s)'s Attack by 1
- If the target is Dragon-type, lowers the opponent(s)'s Special Attack by 1
- If the target is Electric-type, lowers the opponent(s)'s Speed by 1
- If the target is none of the above types, applies the Heal Block effect on the target(s)
Competitive Overview: Regigigas is already extremely good as is, so it shouldn't get anything crazy, so a little flavorful justification for different typings shouldn't hurt.

:sm/sudowoodo:
Pokemon: Sudowoodo
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Rock/Ghost
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Petrify
G-Max Move Type: Rock
G-Max Move Description: Paralyzes the opponent(s) and changes their typing to Rock (a la Soak and Magic Powder)
Competitive Overview: Sudowoodo has mastered the art of not moving so well that it can make the opponent not move either, making it pretty annoying and letting it get the jump on slower Pokemon in order to try to paraflinch them with Rock Slide or hit them for big damage with Wood Hammer or Stomping Tantrum. You may be wondering why it's a Rock/Ghost-type despite the fact that Sudowoodo doesn't learn any offensive Ghost-type moves. This is because the Ghost-typing makes the Sudowoodo the only Pokémon with the ability Rattled that's weak to Dark, meaning that after a turn 1 Beat Up from a teammate to a Weakness Policy GMax Sudowoodo, it would have +2 Atk & SpA with +4 Speed, which is pretty cool.
:cryogonal:
Pokémon: Cryogonal
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ice
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Sudden Light
G-Max Move Type: Ice
G-Max Move Description: If the target have positive stat changes, remove them and the target becomes inflicted with a whole new status effect, called Agitation.
Agitation: Non-volatile status, thus does not wears off if switching away. The victim's Special moves deals half damage, and their Ability, excluding RKS System and Multitype, become deactivated. If Agitated, the victim cannot be inflicted by Burn, Sleep, Poison + Toxic, Paralysis or Freeze, while it cannot be Agitated if it is already inflicted by any of those statuses. Agitation can be healed by a Lum Berry, Heal Bell, Aromatherapy and other methods that remove non-volatile statuses.
Competitive Overview: We never have any new negative non-volatile status since the very first Generation, so why not making a new one? Keep in mind that, while Cryogonal is pretty fast and can take advantage of its Special bulk even further if things goes right, also have to deal with limited movepool.
Fun Fact: "Sudden Light" comes from Cryogonal being able to learn multiple light-based moves not only Flash Cannon through TM/TR, but also Solar Beam, Reflect, Light Screen, and Aurora Beam naturally, so I decided to base it on this oddity.

:sirfetchd:
Pokémon: Sirfetch'd
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Fighting / Flying
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Bravery
G-Max Move Type: Fighting
G-Max Move Description: Hardcoded to 140 BP. Raise user's and ally's Attack by 1 stage.
Flavor Description: A Fighting-type attack that Gigantamax Sirfetch'd use. Although it raise Attack like Max Knuckle, this G-Max Fighting move is significantly stronger.
Competitive Overview: Not the most exciting effect, but being hardcoded to 140 BP that Max Knuckle and Fighting-type G-Max cannot reach is what gives it a massive edge over other Max Fighting moves. Helps that Sirfetch'd base Attack is already grand. Flying is for Max Airstream STAB.

Here I usually announce the next slate's theme, but instead I have an another important announcement: Samtendo09 is now a part of the council! As such, he basically has the same powers as I do, including picking slate themes, so this slate's theme was chosen by him!

Only Pokémon in PU and Untiered (ZUBL, ZU, NFE, LC Uber, & LC) can be subbed

G-Max Move Description: This Pokémon throws piles of jack-o-lanturns at the opponent, which burns them and causes them to turn into a Grass/Ghost type (even if it was already part grass or part ghost)
Competitive Overview: its here to turn Pokémon into the same type as it, and causing a great deal of pain and suffering

:ss/falinks:
Pokemon: Falinks
Type of the Gigantamax Form:
Fighting

G-Max Move Name: G-Max Unbreaking Formation
G-Max Move Type:
Fighting

G-Max Move Description: Every solider covers the other's weaknesses, setting every stat to the value of the highest stat, as well as being the same power as the regular max moves.
Competitive Overview: Having 328 in every stat is nice. Also it fits No Retreat boosting all the stats.

Shedinja return !

Pokémon: Shedinja
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Bug / Ghost
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Shade Shed
G-Max Move Type: Ghost
G-Max Move Description: Statut +1 priority max move, put a destiny bond on shedinja for 1 turn. Fail when used several times in a row.
Competitive Overview: Allows you to put pressure on your opponent any way you want. Allows you to seriously threaten any Pokémon, even though it may fail in the face of indirect damage. To play in a rain/sun team or Magic Guard / Entrainment combo.

Samtendo09

Ability: Light Power
is a Pre-Contributor
:flareon:
Pokémon: Flareon
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Fire
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Evo-Flare
G-Max Move Type: Fire
G-Max Move Description: Guaranteed burn on opponent. If user have Guts, it will also burn itself even if the user is a Fire-type.
Competitive Overview: Allows Flareon to finally make full use of Guts without having to utilize the harmful Toxic effect of Toxic Orb, while also attempting to compensate its low physical Bulk with a guaranteed burn, something other Guts user are not capable off consistently. Flareon have to contend with limited coverage and slow Speed though.

:wigglytuff:
Pokémon: Wigglytuff
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Normal / Fairy
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Power Hug
G-Max Move Type: Normal
G-Max Move Description: Raise the user's Special Attack by 1 stage. User's Ability is replaced by Fur Coat until it switches out or faints.
Competitive Overview: Patching Wigglytuff's awful Defense to make it a super physically bulky titan once it managed to mark a hit, but it is recommended to use it in semiroom teams due to its very slow Speed. I originally intend for Fluffy but I decided that Wigglytuff is such a weak Moon Stone evolution (second to the unavailable Delcatty) that Fur Coat is more worth it while still making sense lore-wise.

:mr-rime:
Pokémon: Mr. Rime
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ice / Psychic
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Tapping
G-Max Move Type: Ice
G-Max Move Description: Summon a Rime Terrain for five turns, or eight turns if the user is holding a Terrain Extender.
Rime Terrain: Boost Ice-type moves by 30%. Any Pokémon with a Fire-type, Steel-type, Rock-type or Fighting-type will have 1/8th of maximum HP lost at the end of each turn (damage does not stack if both types hit Ice super effectively), however Ice-type Pokémon are immune to it even with having four of the previously mentioned types. Unlike regular Terrains, this terrain cannot be replaced by other Terrains, but can be removed by Defog.
Competitive Overview: Let's admit it; Hail sucks as a weather as it is. But it can be more dangerous against opponents in conjunction with the new Rime Terrain! 1/8th HP damage is very heavy for either side, but only on Pokémon with a specific type strong against Ice-type, so as long as you hold your Fire / Fighting / Steel / Rock, this is not a problem for your team. In short, this allows Mr. Rime to gain near full control on Terrain, which will cripple even Tapu Fini and Rillaboom due to losing access of their perks heavily involving their respective terrain. It also allows Mr. Rime to not worry about surppressing its own special Terrain with Max Mindstorm to not screw up its own allies' prioirty moves, at the cost of being unable to boost its own Psychic-type moves.

:vespiquen:
Pokémon: Vespiquen
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Bug / Flying
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Combee Swarm
G-Max Move Type: Bug
G-Max Move Description: Recover user's HP by 50% (net 25% as Gigantamax Vespiquen) and raise higher Attack or Special Attack by 2 stages.
Competitive Overview: Allows Vespiquen for consistent recovery while also being able to raise its intended Attack or Special Attack, up to maximum if used three times. This sounds overwhelming, but remember that Vespiquen's base Attack and Special Attack are below average, and have to contend with the weaknesses related to the bad old Bug / Flying. It will struggle against Steel unless you gave it an unorthodox Revenge or Reversal, so an ally that can deal with them is highly recommended.

Subs end later today!

:sm/calyrex:
Pokemon: Calyrex
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Psychic/Grass
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Crowning Moment
G-Max Move Type: Psychic
G-Max Move Description: Sets Leech Seed on the opponent(s) and boosts the user's Attack, Defense, Special Attack, and Special Defense by 1
Competitive Overview: Base Calyrex sucks and it isn't allowed in VGC for some reason, so if you ever want to think about using this thing in AG, it needs something kinda ridiculous and this might be it. Just use this 3 times, hope your opponent's Dark-type is dead, then sweep with Stored Power. The only caveat is that it doesn't boost Speed, so a sweep isn't guaranteed if you manage to set up

:sm/drampa:
Pokemon: Drampa
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Normal/Dragon
G-Max Move Name: G-Max War Story
G-Max Move Type: Normal
G-Max Move Description: Raises the user's Special Attack by 1 and prevents the opponent(s) from using sound moves for 2 turns (Throat Chop effect). Sound move
Competitive Overview: A tale so horrifying that it'll leave you speechless. Pretty standard strong Trick Room attacking option, which is lacking on the special side in terms of Dynamaxers, with the only ones right now being GMax Beheeyem, GMax Slowbro-G, and sometimes Torkoal

:sm/turtonator:
Pokemon: Turtonator
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Fire/Dragon
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Minefield
G-Max Move Type: Fire
G-Max Move Description: Sets Fire-type Stealth Rocks on the opponent(s)'s side of the field and lowers the opponent(s) Speed by 1
Competitive Overview: You Shell Smash, then you set Fire-type Stealth Rock to prevent Focus Sashes from derailing a sweep, and you lower the opponent's Speed to make up for Turtonator's abysmal Speed, then you sweep. Add Sunny Day support and stuff that benefits from Speed control for even better results.

:sm/swoobat:
Pokemon: Swoobat
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Psychic/Flying
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Hearty Meal
G-Max Move Type: Psychic
G-Max Move Description: Heals the user's by 25% of their max HP and boosts their Defense by 1 stage
Competitive Overview: Simple does work on Max Moves, so this is a little something to help Swoobat set up Stored Power sweeps by making it easier to up its Defense, while being able to Calm Mind for its SpA and SpD, and Max Airstream for its Speed.

Now for the slate
Slate 17: Favoritism
:sm/combusken::sm/swampert::sm/lucario:
7 is my favorite number and well 17's close enough, so in this slate, let's take a look at the council favorite Pokémon!
For this slate, the only Pokémon that can be subbed are the ~60 of mine and Samtendo09's favorite Pokémon listed below
The whole evolutionary line of each Pokémon is also legal (unless they already have a GMax form of course)
My Favorites:

Oh goody I was planning on subbbing Reuniclus anyway

:ss/reuniclus:
Pokemon: Reuniclus
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Psychic
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Mind Shatter
G-Max Move Type: Psychic
G-Max Move Description: Sets up Psychic Terrain before the move hits. Super effective against Dark and Steel types.
Competitive Overview: Basically... click the Mind Shatter button and have things die. Reuni's dex entry says that "this Pokémon prefers to swing its powerful arms around to beat opponents into submission." and "They can crush boulders psychically." Psychic has always been a poor type, especially offensively, so this G-Max move remedies that a lot and the only things that resists it are fellow Psychic-types. Problem is, its still slow as molasses, but I can see a set of CM/TR/Psyshock/Shadow Ball working: Set up one or both of CM or TR, Gmax, kill

:ss/frosmoth:
Pokemon: Frosmoth
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ice/Bug
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Frozen Wind
G-Max Move Type: Ice
G-Max Move Description: Raises user's Def one stage while decresing the opponent's Spe by one stage. Also summons hail.
Competitive Overview: Frosmoth has always had the problem of being too physically frail and too slow, even after a Quiver Dance. The (admittedly wonderful) typing doesn't do it any favors defensively either. However, after a Quiver Dance and a couple of Def boosts, Frosmoth becomes surprisingly bulky (Ice Scales raises Frosmoth's special bulk), and the speed drops inflicted on the opponent, along with the QD boost, allows Frosmoth to take on more balanced teams more easily due to the amount of moderately fast, moderately bulky Pokemon that Frosmoth can break through. Also, as a guardian of the frozen peaks, summoning Hail is so obvious I wonder why they didn't give this thing Snow Warning.

Pokemon: Reuniclus
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Psychic
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Mitosis
G-Max Move Type: Psychic
G-Max Move Description: Any raised stat is further raised by 1. Any lowered stat is further lowered by 1.
Competitive Overview: Capitalizes on the snowballing effect of Dynamax to make Reuniclus a threatening sweeper.

A little late on this, so submissions will end later today!

:sm/runerigus:
Pokemon: Runerigus
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ground/Ghost
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Ravaging Rune
G-Max Move Type: Ghost
G-Max Move Description: Raises the user's Defense by 1 and changes the opponent(s)'s ability to Wandering Spirit
Competitive Overview: Runerigus is one of the better offensive Trick Room setters in VGC since it can be a terrifying attacker with help from a Brutal Swing from Diggersby activating Weakness Policy and giving it Huge Power from Wandering Spirit. Just too bad Trick Room setters are almost always better off being fully support mons then, huh? With G-Max Ravaging Rune, Runerigus can hopefully make its extremely tiny niche a little bigger, being able to boost both of its Defenses with Max Quake and G-Max Ravaging Rune, Runerigus can become nigh unkillable while also boosting the damage of Body Press. Also, ability suppression is always powerful, plus Runerigus' STABs both don't make contact, so as long as you don't use Body Press, you get to keep your powerful ability while the opponent is stuck with Wandering Spirit

:sm/exploud:
Pokemon: Exploud
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Normal
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Battle Cry
G-Max Move Type: Normal
G-Max Move Description: Hits all adjacent opponents. Sound move
Competitive Overview: Exploud just nukes things. Slap a Life Orb on it, put it on a Trick Room team or give it Tailwind support, and click this 3 teams and the opposing may-or-may-not just evaporate.

:sm/avalugg:
Pokemon: Avalugg
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ice/Water
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Sinking Ship
G-Max Move Type: Ice
G-Max Move Description: Changes the opponent(s)'s type to Water and lowers their Defense by 1. Super effective on Water-types
Competitive Overview: Honestly more flavor than anything, but this just sounds like fun. It's probably nowhere near as viable as Glastrier or GMax Glaceon as an Ice-type Trick Room sweeper, but making everything a Water-type and having a guaranteed super effective move coming their way the next turn is scary in its own right.

:sm/mimikyu:
Pokemon: Mimikyu
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Ghost/Fairy
G-Max Move Name: G-Max Jump Scare
G-Max Move Type: Ghost
G-Max Move Description: Lowers the opponent(s)'s Attack by 1 stage. If the user's Disguise is currently broken, this move deals 1.4x damage
Competitive Overview: Mimikyu can't really do Weakness Policy strats due to the nature of Disguise making it disadvantageous for you to break your own Disguise to get a boost. With this Max Move, it's actually optimal to break you Disguise to push your Ghost Max Move to a staggering 168 BP. Also, Mimikyu is supposed to be the scariest thing ever under the cloth, so this just makes sense

:swsh/vileplume:
Pokemon: Vileplume
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Grass/Fairy
G-Max Move Name: Stench Extinction
G-Max Move Type: Poison
G-Max Move Description: This Pokémon releases very veil odor, that causes the opponent to be flinched easier. (It basically gives this Pokémon’s attacks a higher chance to flinch)
Competitive Overview:

:swsh/zygarde:
Pokemon: Zygarde
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Dragon/Ground
G-Max Move Name: Vengeful Earth
G-Max Move Type: Ground
G-Max Move Description: This Pokémon shakes the ground violently, causing random 60bp earthquakes to hit the opposing side for 5 turns. It also makes this Pokémon immune to ice type attacks for 5 turns
Competitive Overview:

:swsh/dunsparce:
Pokemon: Dunsparce
Type of the Gigantamax Form: Normal/Ground
G-Max Move Name: Draconic Strength
G-Max Move Type: Normal
G-Max Move Description: This Pokémon uses the hidden Draconic energy in its body to attack. It then is considered to be part dragon type, and it is given +1 in physical or special attack (depending on which stat is higher) and speed
Competitive Overview:

However, after a Quiver Dance and a couple of Def boosts, Frosmoth becomes surprisingly bulky (Ice Scales raises Frosmoth's special bulk), and the speed drops inflicted on the opponent, along with the QD boost, allows Frosmoth to take on more balanced teams more easily due to the amount of moderately fast, moderately bulky Pokemon that Frosmoth can break through. Also, as a guardian of the frozen peaks, summoning Hail is so obvious I wonder why they didn't give this thing Snow Warning.

Slate 18: All Grown Up
:sm/garchomp::sm/blissey::sm/mr. rime:
In America, people become legal adults at age 18. So for slate 18, let's look at the closest thing we have to adult Pokémon
For this slate, only Pokémon that are part of a 3-stage evolutionary line can be subbed
Any prevolutions that are a part of a 3-stage line are also legal (unless stated otherwise) even if their evolution isn't
