Swampert @ Swampertite
Ability: Damp
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Rain Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
The main focus of the team: this guy is the main reason why I run two priority Tailwinds. Not only does that 150 base Attack make a Waterfall really hurt like hell in the Rain, but with Swift Swim or Tailwind, it's sure to outspeed anything outside of anything with +2 or more to Speed, and even Swift Swim and Tailwind can go faster if need be.
Talonflame @ Life Orb
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- U-turn
- Tailwind
Tailwind setter and Mega-Swampert slingshot: this guy is really good, especially since Swampert resist its weaknesses, and it double resists Swampert's huge grass weakness. Speaking of Grass, Priority Brave Bird and Flare Blitz take care of most Grass types effectively.
Tornadus (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Air Slash
- Heat Wave
- U-turn
- Tailwind
Same as before, except on the Special spectrum and without that awesome priority Brave Bird. Basically used in a pinch: probably weakest member of team, yet since Talonflame into Mega-Swampert has done so well for me, it couldn't hurt to have a backup plan. Plus it doesn't kill itself switching in on Stealth Rock once Forretress is gone.
Breloom @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Spore
- Bullet Seed
- Rock Tomb
- Mach Punch
Jack of all trades: Shroomasaurus Rex here is the king of forcing switches, particularly with Tailwind support. Spore can force a switch, Rock Tomb can punish a switch, Bullet Seed breaks walls and Mach Punch picks off weakened opponents. Running Adamant over Jolly due to wanting more power.
Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stone Edge
- Ice Beam
- Crunch
- Fire Blast
Special Tank: A bit of a war-story here: I once tanked a Focus Blast from a Gengar using a similar set and OHKO it with a Crunch. That is the power of a Sand Stream Rock-pokemon wearing an Assault Vest. Ice Beam and Fire Blast compliment its stab attacks by allowing it to preemptively dismantle its counters when they are switched in (notably Landorus-T and Scizor).
Forretress @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic
- Volt Switch
Physical Wall, Spinner, and Rock Setter: in most games, this guy is my go-to lead. Not much to say here except minimal speed investment allows for some very safe Volt Switches, especially once the field is clear of Rocks.
Showdown Exportable
