Togekiss's great bulk and access to reliable recovery in Roost allow it to set up safely with Nasty Plot. Furthermore, Togekiss can use its bulk to spread status very well with Thunder Wave, slowing down faster Pokemon such as Dragapult and Duraludon that Flying teams have trouble with. Air Slash in tandem with Serene Grace is useful for breaking foes such as Toxapex, Ferrothorn, and Corviknight with flinches, especially after they are crippled with Thunder Wave Nasty Plot lets Togekiss muscle past bulkier Pokemon and status inducers such as Corviknight, Toxapex, and Seismitoad more easily. Togekiss should generally look for safe situations where it can spread paralysis, weaken the opposing team, and set up without much drawback. Despite being bulky, it should look out for certain wallbreakers such as Choice Band Weavile and Choice Scarf Dracovish that threaten to OHKO it without letting it get a chance to cripple them.

Choice Scarf Charizard is a good partner for Togekiss, as it can break Steel-type Pokemon such as Excadrill, Ferrothorn, and Corviknight Togekiss may have trouble with. It can also handle faster wallbreakers such as Galarian Darmanitan, Choice Specs Gengar, and Weavile that threaten to OHKO Togekiss. Slower setup sweepers such as Corviknight and Gyarados appreciate Togekiss's Thunder Wave letting them outspeed faster Pokemon such as Mew and Barraskewda, which makes their sweep easier. Corviknight can also take on Poison- and Steel-type attacks such as Gengar's Sludge Wave and Excadrill's Iron Head as well as switch into Toxic. Xatu provides Light Screen and Reflect to make setting up easy as well as the ability to keep Stealth Rock off of the field with Magic Bounce, which makes it an ideal teammate for Togekiss. Having Reflect and Light Screen up helps Togekiss especially against the aforementioned wallbreakers, which now struggle to beat it. Mandibuzz can remove Stealth Rock if Xatu fails to prevent them and check Pokemon such as Excadrill and Aegislash with Foul Play while also being able to bring Togekiss in with U-turn.

Give a few examples of threats Togekiss can outspeed and revenge kill.

Mention that Charizard covers Togekiss' Steel weakness and threatens Corviknight in particular which is a threat.

Talk a bit more about Nasty Plot, especially in the part where you talk about Pokemon Togekiss doesn't outright beat. For example against Corviknight you'd probably aim for +6 or at least +4 to avoid getting stalled out if Corviknight doesn't get flinched. Also helps you break Toxapex faster in case it's Toxic etc.

Mention how Morning Sun only heals 25% in weather other than sun which could give Togekiss some trouble against teams with weather such as Dark and Water.

I'd put Mandibuzz as a teammate as it can Defog away Stealth Rock if Xatu fails to keep them away, it can U-turn to give Togekiss a safe switchin, and check SD Aegislash with Foul Play.

- wouldn't say togekiss can't beat toxapex without nasty plot, it def can easily if its para'd. also, it feels weird to use pex in both examples, imo use something else in np

- for xatu as a teammate, scarf togekiss does like screens bz of the extra bulk but its not as great since its not np. take out the part abt xatu providing screens, magic bounce is good enough there
