Togetic's unique dual defensive typing t paired with an Eviolite allows it to check common Fighting-types like Throh, Hitmontop, and Falinks, Dragon-types such as Vibrava and Drakloak, and Grass-types like Silvally-Grass and Leafeon. Defog is the primary reason to use Togetic; with its decent coverage, Togetic pressures our Defiant users, Falinks and Pawniard, pretty efficiently while still defeating Stealth Rock setters like Palpitoad and Carkol. Togetic’s passive nature is mitigated by the use of Thunder Wave, as offensive Pokemon that try to take advantage of it like Mr. Rime, Glaceon, Silvally-Rock, or Stonjourner do not appreciate being slowed down. Flamethrower, with an alternative spread of 248 HP /176 Def / 84 Spe, can be used to outspeed non-invested Mawile; paired with Serene Grace, Flamethrower has higher odds of burning your foe. Heal Bell is an option that gives your team a cleric, and an option to more freely use Defog on and defeat Stealth Rock users that run Toxic, like Palpitoad.

Togetic is passive in nature, so use it on balance or semi-stall teams, specifically which have a solid defensive backbone that can handle Ice-types like Mr. Rime, Glaceon, and Lapras, Rock-types such as Crustle and Stonjourner, and Electric-types like Raichu and Manectric. Palpitoad and Hippopotas are spectacular paired with Togetic, as they can defeat most Electric- and Rock-types that scare out Togetic. Pokemon that appreciate entry hazard removal are nice partners, especially those that can check Ice-types and appreciate the Fighting resistance and Heal Bell support that Togetic offers like Lapras and Glaceon, which pressure Pokemon that wall Togetic, like Mareanie and Roselia, respectively. Musharna and Beheeyem can weaken or KO Poison-types, giving Togetic a much easier time clicking Defog, while Togetic's Fairy typing is useful for Dark-types like Thievul, making these Pokemon have natural synergy and a strong defensive core against Fighting-types. Because Togetic despises losing its Eviolite, Knock Off absorbers are perfect teammates; these include Silvally formes, Throh, Mawile, Colbur Berry Musharna, and Dubwool. Dubwool in particular is a good partner for Togetic; it counters Pawniard trying to exploit Defog and acts as a Rock check for Togetic. Klang and Type: Null are also notable, as Klang and Type: Null can act as wincons that can check Ice-types that threaten Togetic, while Togetic handles the Fighting-types and Dubwool that Klang and Type: Null do not like dealing with.

Togetic has a unique dual typing that benefits it defensively; paired with an Eviolite, it achieves a respectable Defense and Special Defense, allowing it to check common Fighting-types like Throh, Hitmontop, and Falinks, Dragon-types such as Fraxure or Drakloak, and Grass-types like Silvally-Grass or Leafeon. Togetic’s passive nature is complemented by the use of Thunder Wave, as offensive Pokemon that try to abuse Togetic like Mr. Rime, Glaceon, Silvally-Rock, or Stonjourner do not appreciate being slowed down, or the risk of not being able to move for a turn. Dazzling Gleam is the preferred STAB move of choice, solely so you can have super effective coverage for Fighting-, Dark-, and Dragon-types. Roost should be used to keep Togetic healthy, for this gives Togetic an easier time to check Throh, Thievul, Leafeon, and Fraxure. Defog is the primary reason to use Togetic; entry hazards from the likes of Palpitoad or Carkol can be inconvenient for teammates to handle, so Defog when you deem necessary. Flamethrower is a viable option that can be used over Thunder Wave to have an easier time defeating Stealth Rock Mawile, or to deal more damage to Pawniard trying to abuse Defog. Heal Bell gives you a cleric for your team, and an option to better Defog and defeat Toxic users that have Stealth Rock, like Palpitoad. Togetic being such a passive Defog user that can be taken advantage of by offensive Pokemon while having a Stealth Rock weakness and a susceptibility to Knock Off unlike our many Silvally forms put it in an awkward spot, but with the right team support, Togetic can be a solid choice for your team, so do not let these flaws deter you from trying out Togetic. (honestly this last sentence doesn't add much, remove imo)

Togetic is passive in nature, so use it on balance or semi-stall teams, those that have a solid defensive backbone that can handle Ice-types like Mr. Rime, Glaceon, and Lapras, Rock-types such as Crustle and Stonjourner, or Electric-types like Raichu or Manectric. Palpitoad, Golurk and Hippopotas are spectacular paired with Togetic, as these are reliable answers that can defeat the Electric- and Rock-types that scare out Togetic, while setting up Stealth Rock or clicking Toxic to chip the opponent’s team. (in return, togetic acts as a reliable fighting-type check for rime/glaceon/lapras/stonjourner and can cure palpitoad/hippo of toxic should it be crippled)Pokemon that appreciate hazard removal are nice partners, especially those that can check Ice-types and appreciate the Fighting resist that Togetic offers like Lapras or Glaceon; these synergize well due to the fact that these pressure Pokemon that wall Togetic, like Mareanie and Roselia. Because Togetic despises losing its Eviolite, Knock Off absorbers are perfect teammates--these include Silvally forms, Throh, Mawile, Colbur Berry Musharna, and Dubwool. (emphasize how dubwool is especially notable as it counters pawniard, which abuses togetic in general assuming no flamethrower) Klang and Type:Null are also notable, as Klang and Type:Null can act as a wincon that can check Ice-types that threaten Togetic, while Togetic handles the Fighting-types and Dubwool that Klang or Type:Null do not like dealing with.

Togetic has a unique dual typing that benefits it defensively; paired with an Eviolite, it achieves a respectable Defense and Special Defense, allowing it to check common Fighting-types like Throh, Hitmontop, and Falinks, Dragon-types such as Fraxure more often than not it beats u 1v1. replace with Vibrava or Drakloak, and Grass-types like Silvally-Grass or Leafeon. Togetic’s passive nature is complemented by the use of Thunder Wave, as offensive Pokemon that try to abuse from the gp standards thread: "Abuse" means "use in a negative way / to a negative effect" or "assault"; it should not be used as a substitute for "make heavy use of" or "benefit from". replace everywhere in the analysis Togetic like Mr. Rime, Glaceon, Silvally-Rock, or Stonjourner do not appreciate being slowed down, or the risk of not being able to move for a turn fluff. Defog is the primary reason to use Togetic; entry hazards from the likes of Palpitoad or Carkol can be inconvenient for teammates to handle, so Defog when you deem necessary i'd like to see a mention of it being a decent defogger in the overview (i.e. that it can pressure defog deterrants like pawn and falinks with coverage). everything else here is otherwise self-explanatory. Flamethrower is a viable option that can be used over Thunder Wave to have an easier time defeating Stealth Rock Mawile, or to deal more damage to Pawniard trying to abuse same here Defog. Heal Bell gives you a cleric for your team, and an option to better Defog and defeat Toxic Stealth Rock users that have Stealth Rock run Toxic, like Palpitoad.

Palpitoad, Golurk and Hippopotas are spectacular paired with Togetic, as these are reliable answers that can defeat the most (all of them lose to raichu) Electric- and Rock-types that scare out Togetic, while setting up Stealth Rock or clicking Toxic to chip the opponent’s team fluff. mention how bulky psychics like beheeyem and gothitelle appreciate togetic handling dark-types like thievul and how they pressure fighting-types like throh and falinks better together
