Too lazy to think of a good name, but it's the team that actually matters.

Weather is WAY too prevalent in OU, so I have decided to try out UU instead, where there is little, if any weather. Without further ado, I shall present my team.

Aerodactyl (F)
Held Item: Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe
~ Taunt
~ Stealth Rock
~ Rock Slide
~ Earthquake

Hey, it's the standard Aerodactyl lead from Gen IV. It has pretty much fallen out of favour in Gen V after the introduction of Team Preview, but really, what can ACTUALLY outspeed or even speed-tie Aerodactyl? Crobat and Jolteon both get murdered by Rock Slide and Earthquake respectively, while Aerodactyl at worst survives with 1 HP thanks to Focus Sash, and Electrode will have to risk a 70% accurate Thunder and even then, hardly anyone uses Electrode. Ditto with Choice Scarf? That's why you have 5 other team members to help you out, thus Aerodactyl will get Stealth Rock up more often than not, and usually a Taunt and maybe even inflict damage on other Pokemon, though that is an extenuating circumstance.

Roserade (F)
Held Item: Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP, 120 Def, 136 Sp Def
~ Spikes
~ Giga Drain
~ Sludge Bomb
~ Rest

For some people like me, I have to use Stealth Rock with Spikes, I just have to, entry hazards must stack, although I may just have OCD. Roserade fits the bill quite well, being able to set up Spikes on most Water, Electric and Grass types with this defensive EV spread and can heal back completely with Rest + Natural Cure. Even with no Special Attack EVs, Roserade still has a Special Attack of 286 and can deal decent damage with Giga Drain and Sludge Bomb if the need arises.

Spr_5b_009.png

Blastoise (F)
Held Item: Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Sp Def
~ Rapid Spin
~ Foresight
~ Scald
~ Dragon Tail

Then I was thinking, what's the use of entry hazards if your opponent won't switch constantly? That's when I decided to use Blastoise, who has great type synergy with Roserade, and can switch in to most Fire types and force them to switch, and further rack more entry hazard damage with Dragon Tail. Roserade is also immune to Toxic (Spikes) and resists the Grass and Electric types that plague Blastoise, making her the (almost) perfect partner. Oh yeah, Blatoise can also Rapid Spin to get rid of entry hazards on MY side of the field, which will be of great help as you will see later.

Chandelure (F)
Held Item: Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP, 252 Sp Atk, 252 Spe
~ Fire Blast
~ Shadow Ball
~ Substitute
~ Pain Split

I also thought, I have a Water and Grass type thus a Fire type to complete a Fire-Water-Grass core would be awesome, and a Ghost type to block Rapid Spin would also be mandatory. Ta-dah, Chandelure fits the bill perfectly since she's a Fire/Ghost type. With that insane base 145 Special Attack, Chandelure is going to inflict serious damage on pretty much everything with her two STAB moves except bulky Water types, Snorlax and Chansey, and in the case of the latter, she can be stalled out with Substitute + Pain Split.

Spr_5b_479.png

Rotom (G)
Held Item: Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP, 252 Sp Atk, 252 Spe
~ Thunderbolt
~ Shadow Ball
~ Substitute
~ Pain Split

2 Ghost types on one team? Yeah, I am making absolutely sure that no entry hazards are being spinned away on the opponent's field, especially Pokemon that use Foresight + Rapid Spin, and Rotom also has immunities to Ground, Fighting and Normal types moves, most importantly Ground, as it would otherwise be a huge nuisance to most of my team members. Rotom here pretty much plays like Chandelure, except with Electric STAB instead of Fire, being weaker but faster and with an important immunity to Ground-type attacks.

Weavile (F)
Held Item: Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spe
~ Swords Dance
~ Ice Shard
~ Night Slash
~ Low Kick

I really didn't know what to use for my last team slot, but I noticed many MANY players are using Alakazam after it recently acquired Magic Guard... and furthermore, none of my other team members can outspeed it bar Aerodactyl, who is usually dead after 2-3 rounds. Alakazam can pretty much kill every other member of my team in 1-2 hits with Psychic/Psyshock, thus I decided to use Weavile, who is my only answer to him. Also, she's the only member on my team who can actually deal respectable damage to Chansey and Snorlax, and after a Swords Dance, it's time to clean up the opposition in mid-late game. As a bonus, she can strike fear in Xatu, who can otherwise switch into Roserade and reflect Spikes onto my side of the field.

So what do you guys think? I am open to any suggestion and criticism.

This is my first rate so I will try to give you some help.

Okay well your team seems pretty solid at a quick glance but Hail seems to be a problem. Nothing on your team can switch into a Specs Glaceon with Rocks + Spikes up. You also lack a scarfer letting things like Tornadus/Jolteon/Crobat handle your team after Aerodactyl and Weavile are gone. I would suggest adding a Empoleon over your Aerodactyl. I know this would ruin your "lead" idea but Empoleon is a reliable check to Hail teams and can lay down rocks/phaze/check Crobat and Tornadus. I will recommend the Standard Specially Defensive Set

Empoleon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Roar

I personally find that Weavile is also lackluster in this metagame because of Hitmontop's and bulky waters such as Suicune walling it. I suggest a Spiritomb to check Alakazam more reliably than Weavile. A Offensive Blackglasses set is good because of its ability to check the majority of UU Psychic Types.
442.png

Spiritomb (M) @ BlackGlasses
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SAtk
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Sucker Punch
- Pursuit
- Shadow Sneak
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

Now with a more reliable way to counter Alakazam and another spinblocker you might want to consider replacing Rotom with a more offensively minded Electric Type with an immunity to Ground. I recommend a Rotom-H with a Choice Scarf as this will give you some form of reliable revenge killing.
479-heat.png

Rotom-H @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Volt Switch
- Overheat
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Trick

I hope this rate helped as I said it is my first.

I have used blastoise a lot recently and I have found aqua jet to be better than foresight due to it hitting common ghosts like mismagius, go lurk, and chandelure really hard while also providing utility against stuff like jolteon.

I see... will take that into consideration, although Chandelure and Blastoise can both usually barely survive 1-2 Blizzards respectively from Glaceon with Stealth Rock + Spikes and hail damage and Chandelure can threaten back with Fire Blast or just heal off with Pain Split, though in the first place I won't let entry hazards get on my field thanks to Aerodactyl with Taunt and Rapid Spin from Blatoise, thus the chances of getting Stealth Rock or Spikes is quite slim, let alone both of them together. Abomasnow (Main part of hail) is not going to stay in on Aerodactyl or otherwise it will get murdered by Rock Slide along with most of its team, in particular Glaceon. Tornadus/Jolteon/Crobat can be handled by either Rotom or Roserade, though admittedly I must be careful about switching in directly. Your suggestions seem valid though, thus I shall try them out first.
