[OVERVIEW]

Torkoal has both access to Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin, which looks good when paired with its great Defense stat. However, it has a bad defensive typing, is weak to all entry hazards, can easily get Taunted because of its low Speed, and has no recovery outside of Leftovers, making it hard to justify using it on a team. Torkoal is outclassed by other Stealth Rock setters like Omastar because of its better defensive typing and ability to take on Pokemon like Lycanroc and Aggron. It is also outclassed as a Rapid Spinner by Pokemon like Hitmonchan, which has a more offensive presence and better ability in Iron Fist.

[SET]
name: Rapid Spin
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Rapid Spin
move 3: Lava Plume
move 4: Yawn / Toxic
item: Leftovers
ability: Shell Armor
nature: Bold
evs: 248 HP / 232 Def / 28 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

Torkoal's goal is to set Stealth Rock, use Rapid Spin to get rid of entry hazards, and use Yawn to stop opposing Pokemon from setting up. However, Torkoal struggles to do this because of its own Fire typing giving it a weakness to Stealth Rock, and because it has a hard time keeping itself healthy due to relying on Leftovers. Torkoal is outclassed by Omastar as a Stealth Rock setter because of its better typing that can help with opposing Pokemon like Lycanroc. Torkoal is also outclassed by Hitmonchan as a Rapid Spinner because it is not weak to Stealth Rock and can threaten Stealth Rock setters like Aurorus and Aggron with its Fighting-type STAB moves.

Torkoal has both access to Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin, which looks good when paired with its great Defense stat. However, it has a bad defensive typing, weakness to Stealth Rock from its Fire-typing(no need to specify that the sr weakness is because of its fire type, thats a given), can easily get taunted from its low Speed and has no recovery outside of Leftovers makes it hard to justify using it on a team. Torkoal is outclassed by other Stealth Rock setters like Omastar and Rapid Spinners like Hitmonchan because of these Pokemon not being Stealth Rock weak.(Thats not why the sr setters are better, which is what the sentence structure suggests)

Torkoal's goal is to set Stealth Rocks, using Yawn to stop opposing Pokemon to set up and spin away hazards. (talk about having both sr and rapid spin)However, Torkoal struggles to do this from its own Fire-typing giving it a weakness to Stealth Rocks, and having a hard time keeping itself healthy due to relying on Leftovers. This is outclassed by Omastar as a Stealth Rock setter due to not having a Stealth Rock weakness (thats not why its a better sr setter)and its better typing that can help with opposing Pokemon better like Golem(pretty irrelevant mon, replace), and Torkoal is outclassed by Hitmonchan as a Rapid Spinner due to not being Stealth Rock weak, and can threaten common Stealth Rock settlers like Aurorus and Cradily(against a p irrelevant mon, replace) with its Fighting-STAB,

Torkoal is outclassed by other Stealth Rock setters like Omastar because it is able to take on Pokemon like Lycanroc and Aggron and Rapid Spinners like Hitmonchan having a more offensive presence and better abilities in Weak Armor and Iron Fist i don't get what this sentence is saying, like it just jumps points and becomes incomprehensible. It also doesn't appear to concretely get at the biggest reason torkoal is outclassed, which is that godawful defensive typing, even though that is basically why omastar is better (weird example for a rocker tho). Overall this just needs to be comprehensible and mention how bad mono-fire typing is.

Torkoal's goal is to set Stealth Rocks [stealth rock not stealth rocks!!!!!!!!!], use Rapid Spin to get rid of entry hazards, [AC] and using use Yawn to stop opposing Pokemon to set up from setting up. However, Torkoal struggles to do this from because of its own Fire typing [removed hyphen] giving it a weakness to Stealth Rocks [RC] and having because it has a hard time keeping itself healthy due to relying on Leftovers. This Torkoal is outclassed by Omastar as a Stealth Rock setter because of its better typing that can help with opposing Pokemon like Lycanroc.
