Tornadus-Therian @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Hurricane
- Focus Blast
- Knock Off / Substitute

Nasty Plot turns Tornadus-T into a fierce wallbreaker, especially when backed by Heavy-Duty Boots and Regenerator, giving it the welcomed ability to muscle through special walls like Clefable and Galarian Slowking. Knock Off is an excellent utility move to pair with high Base Power moves like Hurricane and Focus Blast, as it allows Tornadus-T to remove items from Pokemon like Zapdos and Blissey to overwhelm them over time. Alternatively, Tornadus-T can run Substitute to avoid Toxic from the likes of Toxapex and Hippowdon, invalidating them as checks. Balance teams greatly benefit from Tornadus-T's wallbreaking capabilities and provide it with ample opportunities to set up. Rain teams bolster Tornadus-T's already great wallbreaking with perfect accuracy for Hurricane and the option of running Weather Ball to bypass Heatran easily. Steel-types like Ferrothorn and Excadrill also make good partners by pressuring out Tapu Koko and Zapdos.

Tornadus-Therian is a much better breaker on balance than offense as it's natural longevity with HDB+Regenerator can take advantage of the team generating openings for it. Offense does not suit it particularly well due to reliance on multiple inaccurate moves for a playstyle that is much more fragile and reliant on the outcome of each individual turn. You can keep the mention of Rain, but the current bit you have on what teams it fits onto should be basically reversed to reflect this.

Rest is fine, 1/1 with this

Nasty Plot turns Tornadus-T into a fierce wallbreaker, especially when backed by Heavy-Duty Boots and Regenerator, giving it great splashability the welcomed ability (or like "the widely appreciated ability", etc.) to muscle through special walls like Clefable and Galarian Slowking. Knock Off is an excellent utility move when in conjunction to pair with high Base Power moves like Hurricane and Focus Blast, (AC) as it allows it Tornadus-T to remove items from Pokemon like Zapdos and Blissey letting Tornadus-T to overwhelm them over time (was "overtime"). Alternatively, Tornadus-T can run Substitute to avoid Toxic from the likes of Toxapex and Hippowdown Hippowdon, (AC) invalidating them as potential checks. Balance teams greatly benefit from Tornadus-T's wallbreaking capabilities (RC) providing and provide it with ample opportunities to set up. Rain teams bolster Tornadus-T's already great wallbreaking capabilities by supporting it with perfect accuracy on for Hurricane and if the option of running Weather Ball to bypass Heatran easily.
