While Totodile has a decent typing for LC as a water type and a reasonable base attack and defense,all other totodile's stats are mediocre and it's movepool is really bad,having only a few coverage options to opt out,while the lack of Knock off and it's ability make Totodile be outclassed in almost everything by Corphish as a Water type wallbreaker or setup sweeper,which has Knock off and Adaptability and both Swords dance and Dragon dance,the lack of speed makes it outclassed by Carvanha as a wallbreaker,which has Speed boost and better coverage options,while Dragon Dance is also outclassed as a setup sweeper by Shellder,Tirtouga,Omanyte,and Corphish, with the former three having Shell smash and more useful abilities,stats or movepool.

Totodile's only viable set is as setup wallbreaker/sweeper,however both sets are outclassed by Corphish which has Adaptability and Knock off,and Dragon dance suffers from competition of Omanyte,Tirtouga and Shellder as a setup sweeper as well,which perform the role better due to their better stats,abilities or movepool
