How about it: every time a tournament finishes, someone - perhaps the winner, perhaps the host, perhaps anyone who's interested - writes an analysis of what happened in the tournament to The Smog or some other section of the forums. Analysis, not writeup. If the tournament uses a unique metagame or system (e.g. inb4 nintendo) then the analysis should include how that Pokemon affected the OU metagame. If it's not a unique metagame or system, then the analysis could deal with some of the good battles played out, like what's been written for BotW in The Smog. In both cases logs of the tournament would be good. It would be great if this were mandatory, because some of the tournaments have really unique metagames and I'm interested to see how they played out.
Example: the Got Arceus tournament often came down to speed ties. From my scant following of that tournament, someone also tried Trick Room just because of this, but it didn't gain much following. What happened to that strategy? Why did it work, or fail to work? Which Arceus forme was the most popular, and why? And so on.
