You may have seen my other doubles thread. It was fairly good, beating a few teams. But I had one serious problem: Burungeru. Hell it was impossible to stop. So I decided to turn my weakness into an idea. This is my take on a Trick Room team, and it is far more successful than my Voltolos/Landlos. Already I've earned quite a reputation on the SkarmBliss server (I'm not that high up due to my lack of available time) and it's gone through a few changes. So here's the team as it stands:
Burungeru was my TR user for its good bulk, immunity to Fake Out and access to Water Spout.
Then I needed a backup. My original idea was Morobareru but the team kept getting beaten by Kojondo/Erufuun. So I decided to have Erufuun myself instead.
Any TR team needs a raw powerhouse, and Roobushin easily fits the bill.
Finally, I threw in Zuruzukin, for his awesome STAB and ability.
The Team Itself
Burungeru @ Mental Herb
Relaxed: 252 HP/252 Def/ 4 Sp At
-Water Spout
-Trick Room
-Shadow Ball
-Blizzard
Erufuun @ Coba Berry
Relaxed: 252 Sp Df/252 HP/4 Def
-Taunt
-Encore
-Trick Room
-Charm
This lead is very useful. Burungeru and Erufuun can both set up Trick Room. This is how I beat most leads:
Kojondo/Erufuun: Kojondo often Fake Outs Erufuun leaving Burungeru free to set up TR. The next turn, I can Encore Kojondo and just Blizzard/Water Spout with Burungeru.
Voltolos/Landlos: Set up TR with Erufuun, and blizzard with Burungeru (provided he survives).
Opposing TR: Just hit them. It comes as I play.
Roobushin @ Flame Orb
Adamant: 252 Atk/252 HP/4 Sp Df
-Mach Punch
-Drain Punch
-Rock Slide
-Earthquake
Roobushin is a serious powerhouse I need on the team. He can come in on bug moves (albeit unlikely) aimed at Erufuun. Drain Punch is much more powerful in this gen and Mach Punch is for priority outside of TR.
Zuruzukin @ Iron Ball
Adamant: 252 Atk/128 Def/128 Sp Df
-Fake Out
-Fling
-Hi Jump Kick
-Crunch
Zuruzukin gives the team much needed STAB. Its much powerful attacks + Fake Out + ability means it can power its way throught he remains of a team with ease. Fake Out supports Roob, Fling destroys dark-weak pokemon, Hi Jump Kick deals loads of damage and Crunch is for a reliable dark STAB
I will also use Shubalgo, but without the ability to switch pokemon before the battle, it's pretty redundant.
Any suggestions are highly valued as always.
