Name: Viola
Effect: Bug moves deal 1.5x damage when not very effective. Doesn't stack with Tinted Lens.
Justification: Has a camera.

Plumeria: This is going to be vetoed. Please stop adding three abilities together to try and make your subs stronger. This sub would be strong with only the first effect. This is vetoed because of the first effect first and foremost. Corrosion is a strong ability that shouldn't be casually slapped onto all your Pokemon. Please remove the first part, but unfortunately, the second effect is too weak to work and the third effect doesn't work without the first effect. Please rework this sub completely.![]()
Name: Plumeria
Effect: Your Pokémon can poison the target even if it's a Steel or Poison type. If your moves would inflict poison, they instead inflict bad poison. In addition, your Poison-type STAB can damage Steel-types that have been inflicted with poison or bad poison.
Description: References the Corrosion ability.

Name: Guzma
Effect: Your Bug-type Pokemon have a +1 to their critical hit ratio. On the first turn each time your non-Terastalised Bug-type Pokemon enters battle, the priority of their moves are increased by +2, always crit and will bypass/lift the effects of protection moves.
Description: References Guzma's First Impression, though the mechanic itself is similar to the move Feint.

Name; Anabel
Effect: The first time your Psychic-type Pokemon directly causes another Pokémon (including allies) to faint by using a damaging move, its highest stat (other than HP) is increased by two stages.
Description: Anabel's typically depicted with Psychic-type mons, and references her Faller status.
Aya: This is going to be vetoed. Being immune to Poison is a very matchup fishy effect that sits on Miriam and almost nothing else. The first part is also relatively weak. I originally thought this was only boosting Bug moves which almost nothing cares about, but boosting a Bug's moves is more interesting. However, I struggle to see much care outside of Araquanid Hydro Pump or Tera Bug. Please rework the sub.![]()
Name: Aya
Effect: Your Bug-Type Pokemon's Accuracy is boosted 1.3x (does not stack if your Pokemon has Compound Eyes). Your Bug type Pokemon can't be poisoned.
Description: Aya is the anime-exclusive sister to Koga. She only owns a Venonat, which in later generations could have Compound Eyes as an ability. The poison immunity comes from the fact she is heavily Poison-oriented in general.

Name: Lusamine
Effect: Your Pokemon's Psychic-type Attacks use your Pokemon's higher attacking stat.
Description: In Masters, her Sygna Suit pair is Dusk Mane/Ultra Necrozma. Necrozma is known for its signature move Photon Geyser (and its Z-Move Variant Light That Burns The Sky), which uses Necrozma's higher attacking stat when calculating damage. It would open up new coverage options for Pokemon.
First off, just because I said there might be more winners does NOT mean you get an extra submission. Please remove one of them.![]()
Name: Ryme
Effect: Your Ghost type Pokemon's sound-based moves are Ghost type.
Description: Ryme is a rapper who specializes in Ghost-types, and her singing is said to have raised her Puppy Pokemon from the dead as a Houndstone. This could have some interesting applications, like Skeledirge's Torch Song becoming Ghost type instead, Ghost type Hyper Voice and Psychic Noise, etc.

Name: Tulip
Effect: Your Psychic-type Pokemon have the Fairy type added to them (if they don't have it already). I.E. Delphox is treated as Fire/Psychic/Fairy. Generally, this cancels out their Dark weakness and gives them STAB on Dazzling Gleam.
Description: Though Tulip is a Psychic-type specialist, she also has a very fairy-like appearance, and her ace is Florges, which she Terastallizes into a Psychic type.

Name: Klara
Effect: When one of your Poison-type Pokemon is on the field, all non-Poison type Pokemon take damage equal to 1/8th of their maximum HP at the end of each turn.
Description: References Klara setting up Toxic Spikes before your final battle with her, and her "toxic" personality. 1/8th is the same amount of damage regular poison does.
Viola: Make this not stack with Tinted Lens or be vetoed.![]()
Name: Viola
Effect: Bug moves deal 1.5x damage when not very effective (Weaker Tinted Lens).
Justification: Has a camera. This might make Lokix good!
![]()
Name: Inver
Effect: Psychic type pokemon take inverse damage from attacks.
Justification: Only because his trainer class is Psychic (please do not see what pokemon he uses). Makes Psychic types more viable defensively, love me some Scream Tail hours.
Bug Catcher: This is going to be vetoed. The only reason for the veto is please lock it to non-Tera. Other than that, maybe make the Pokemon come back with more Hp. Maybe 30% or 50%.Well, you know what they say....save the best for last!
Name: Bug Catcher Wade
Effect: Benjamin Butterfree: If a friendly evolved Bug-type Pokémon that is NOT a Shedinja would be defeated, it will instead devolve into it's previous form and come back to life at 20% HP. Does not affect their moves or ability.
Justification: His Bug-type Pokémon gradually evolve during rematches....yet he claims in the Pokégear to still be owning their earlier stage forms! Plus, this is a reference to a past Solomod....
The only difference is that there will be 3-4 winners depending on which trainers win.Voting
- You vote for your favorite 5 trainers.
- Order doesn't matter.
- Only one self-vote is allowed.
- You can not self-vote as your only vote.
- The three most voted trainers will be added to the meta.
- If we don't get enough submissions, they might change.

Name: Lusamine
Effect: Your Pokemon's Psychic-type Attacks use your Pokemon's higher attacking stat. Psychic-type moves get a 1.1x boost.

Name: Miku (Ghost)
Effect: All ghost type Pokemon passively gain the abilities "Pressure" and "Perish Body."
Description: This sub was inspired by StarGN. Miku says "I'm thinking Miku, Miku, oooeeooo" and the "oooeeooo" is kinda scary sounding like a ghost would make. Now that we've established that Miku has a direction relationship to ghosts... Miku uses pressure because she is a pop star and is used to performing under pressure. Additionally, she doesn't have a body as she is just a virtual character and therefore perishes. The actual effect itself works nicely on ghost types, in particular, bulkier ghost types like glowking and pecharunt who can not only help force opposing Pokemon out (glowking can somewhat already do this with future sight / chilly reception), and pressure an added bonus for something like pech trying to spinblock tusk.

Name: Bugsy
Effect: Bug types are immune to hazards on your team.
Description: Lets you bring not heavy-duty boots on your bug types. The flavor is that Bugsy has bug Pokemon. Bugsy also once said "I'm feeling bugsy bugsy oooeeeooo. I'm on top of the world because of boots, all I wanted to do is be hazard proof, I'll keep turning along to all of you, I'll keep turning along... I'm feeling bugsy bugsy ooooeeeeooooo"

Name: Asa
Effect: When your Poison and Ghost-types switch out, they heal the switch in by 1/10 of their max Hp.
Description: Asa is a Poison/Ghost Warrior from Pokemon Conquest. Her notable Pokemon are Gastly, Spiritomb, and Drifblim while her Warrior Skill, Sweet Song, heals your Pokemon. Combining the effects, you get a cleric effect for your Poison & Ghost mons. First off, Tera Ghost mons go even harder since you can add cleric effects to something like Ting-Lu. Aside from Tera, you still have several pivots like Dragapult (U-Turn), Slowking-Galar (Chilly Reception), and Pecharunt (Parting Shot) which often switch out a lot anyways, allowing their teammates plenty of healing throughout the game. Mons without pivoting (Gholdengo, Ceruledge, Glimmora, Iron Moth, Okidogi) still appreciate being able to support their teammates as well.
