TRAPHOUSE

"TRAPHOUSE". I made this together with ideas from Gradeus. 5 simple things to note if you ever want to test this team out and give me your input on it.
- This team is extremely effective in REMOVING COUNTERS FOR THE WIN CONDITIONS, Mega Gallade, Magearna & Greninja.
- This team is extremely effective in BAITING STUFF THAT ITS WEAK TO AND ELIMINATING THEM, say Mega Manectric & Tapu Koko.
I made this before the release of Marshadow but this team is definitely playable still.(marshadow banned, saw it coming anyways)- This team has a DECENT CHANCE TO BEAT STALL.

Lastly, if you want to try the team out, YOU MUST KEEP THE NICKNAMES I SET. Now I will explain to you, people of Smogon how this team works.
TRAPHOUSE: IN-DEPTH LOOK

UP YOUR ASS (Gallade) @ Galladite
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Ice Punch
- Zen Headbutt
This Gallade set is standard, SD+Dual STAB+Ice Punch. There's been lots of mention about the use of Knock Off to deal with Mew but I'd rather go with Ice Punch because Landorus-T is everywhere. I compensate for this Gallade set's inability to deal with Mew and its other checks with my following team members so it can shove bricks UP MY OPPONENT'S ASS with it's massive Atk stat and fast Speed.

TRAPHOUSE (Heatran) @ Steelium Z
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Taunt
- Flash Cannon
Literal TRAPHOUSE. Trapper Heatran, 1 stop fix to everything Gallade doesn't like, say Mew, Tangrowth, Celesteela, Tapu Fini & MEGA SABLEYE. I know Steelium Z is not standard and even considered bad to be using on Heatran but I just ignored those people because it has proven to me during actual gameplay to be EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE in luring supposed counters.

- Mew, Toxapex, Tapu Fini will get trapped in and just get eliminated if they switch it in and countless people have done this because they didn't know what sort of Heatran set I was using. This will clear off 1 of the obstacles for Gallade.
252 SpA Heatran Magma Storm vs. 248 HP / 0 SpD Tapu Fini: 65-77 (18.9 - 22.4%) -- possible 6HKO after Leftovers recovery
You have to factor in the 12% Magma Storm residual damage as well.
- People love switching their Banded Zygardes into Heatran because it's supposedly a Heatran counter. Not with this set, Zygarde will get invalidated if it switches in.
- Speaking from my experience with using this team, people using STALL love to stay in on Heatran with Mega Sableye to stall my Magma Storm PP even though by right, they shouldn't and if they do that it's GURANTEED TO BE DEAD. This could be because Heatran doesn't look like its offensive to them at team preview.
Above is with the standard sub toxic tran set w/ Magma Storm/Earth Power/Sub/Toxic.
With this particular set,
252 SpA Heatran Magma Storm vs. 248 HP / 144+ SpD Sableye-Mega: 117-138 (38.6 - 45.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252 SpA Heatran Corkscrew Crash (160 BP) vs. 248 HP / 144+ SpD Sableye-Mega: 186-220 (61.3 - 72.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
BYE BYE SABLEYE.

COME TO ME (Tapu Fini) @ Leftovers
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Nature's Madness
- Moonblast
- Whirlpool
COME TO ME is my 2nd trapper. Once something like Mew, Toxapex, Clefable, MEGA SABLEYE (some people WILL STAY IN ON FINI) & CHANSEY switches in, its COME TO ME & DIE. You whirlpool them in, TAUNT+NM/MOONBLAST TILL THEY DISAPPEAR. She also serves as a relatively sturdy water resist/Ash-Greninja/Keldeo answer.
My 2 unlikely trappers give me a decent shot against beating stall as long as my opponent doesn't know what my gameplan is. *It's unlikely they will know what it is unless they've seen the team before*

ISIS IS HERE (Greninja) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Protean
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Rock Slide
- U-turn
- Ice Beam
- Gunk Shot
TRAPHOUSE & COME TO ME together are capable of getting rid of almost any common wall in the OU metagame to allow Gallade to freely break holes in people's team. This also allows me to use a standard Scarf Greninja to generate me momentum since I can rid myself of any of it's counters too, say Celesteela, Tangrowth, Mew, etc. ISIS IS HERE to do a sneak attack w/ U-turn/clean up job late game.

COME SWEET DEATH (Magearna) @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Soul-Heart
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Trick Room
- Flash Cannon
- Fleur Cannon
- Ice Beam
TR Magearna w/ Ice beam instead of the standard focus blast, also not carrying my Z-Crystal as most would expect from team preview. As emphasized earlier, my team is well equipped to deal with anything that can stop COME SWEET DEATH from pulling off a late game sweep say Chansey, Toxapex, Mew, Tangrowth & Celesteela.
Lots of people also rely on strong ground type attacks to stop COME SWEET DEATH from pulling off its stunts like Shift Gear and Trick Room. Shuca Berry will allow it set Trick Room up on Garchomp/Landorus-T/Zygarde and end the game from there. It also does quite a good job of baiting them if needed.
The increased bulk from max HP investment also allows Magearna to act as emergency Tapu Lele/M-Zam check.
TR also drastically improves my chances of beating Sticky Webs team as I don't pack hazard control.

ISIS BOMBINGS (Landorus-Therian) @ Yache Berry
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 Spe
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn
The reason why I have a Yache Berry on this is because if you didn't notice already, the team is really weak to things like Tapu Koko and MManectric and I really don't want to add crappy fat pivots with little offensive presence to my team. From playing experience, those can be baited & KO'ed relatively easily as Yache Defensive Lando is one of those sets people laugh at.

CLOSING CRAP
Don't forget to keep my nicknames if you ever decide to playtest with this little creation of mine and give me inputs for improvement!
