Trick Storm

So I was trying to make a new team that would work well in the OU metagame, because I was getting bored of using other people's teams. So I wanted to make a sandstorm team. Eventually I ended up using a Claydol with Trick Room on it to help me get an edge, and turned the team into a trickroom team that also used sandstorm. Hence the Pokes I used

Hippowdon (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/168 Def/88 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Earthquake
- Slack Off

I use him as lead to hurry up and get stealth rocks up and spread Toxic. Then I tend to switch it out in favor for one of my TrickRoom users after I'm done.

Tyranitar (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk
Brave nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Fire Punch
- Dragon Dance
He's my main sweeper he deals a a lot of damage and is killer when I get TrickRoom Set up. Not much can get a good block on him. DD is there in case my Room users are knocked out and I still need to sweep.

Rhyperior (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 244 HP/184 Def/80 SDef
Brave nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Roar
- Avalanche
A soild tank SS gives him a much needed Sdef booost and will help him get a kill easier. Eq, and Stone Edge give him good Stab, and Avalanche helps me out with dragon cover. Roar let's me get rid of tough walls while when I'm in a jam.

Magnezone @ Life Orb
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 172 HP/88 Atk/248 SAtk
Quiet nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Flash Cannon
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Magnet Rise
He gives me a soild Skarm counter and some good special attack. I hate to use choice items so put LO on him instead.

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/252 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Light Screen
- Trick Room
- Reflect
- Gyro Ball
He makes an Solid Special wall and can give me some support in the form of screens and TrickRoom. Gyro Ball can do some real damage one faster sweepers.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 4 Def
Brave nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Fire Punch
- Ice Punch
- Iron Head
- Trick Room
Jirachi is my other TR user and he also makes for a sweeper when putting it up is pointless like when he is the last Poke. he gives me good cover and is a pretty strong Poke in general. If some one can give me a better poke for this slot though I'll take it.

Mmm.. Nice team good use of trick room and Sandstorm and I don't see a Claydoll anywere but that's ok. There are some points however:
1: A lot of pokemon share the same weaknesses:
3 pokemon share a fire weakness (Magnezone, Bronzong Jirachi), 4 pokemon are weak to Ground attacks (Tyranitar, Rhyperior, Jirachi 200% damage and Magnezone 400% damage) , 3 have a water weakness (Hippodown, Tyranitar 200% and Rhyperior 400%), 3 have a Grass weakness (Hippodown, Tyranitar 200% and Rhyperior 400%) and 3 have a Fighting weakness (Rhyperior, Magnezone 200% and Tyranitar 400%).
This makes you very weak so try to spread the weaknesses to moet types for better coverage because Infernape has almost all those types of atacks (only if trick room ins'nt set up he will make a change

The next thing is that due to this weaknesses some pokeomn can't switch into other's attakcs (Bronzong can with earthwuake and magnezone with magnet rise but still)

You have a good idea, now test it some more and edit some more and you will be fine.

I'm sorry, but you need to provide better descriptions for your Pokemon. Take a look at the RMT archive to see what kind of descriptions we are looking for in this forum. Locking this under rule 3:

RMT rules said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.
