Trickster's Trick Room

This is my first time posting in the RMT section. Please be kind to me as I will be kind to you. I'll accept any advice that you all have. Thanks.

This is a team of mine that I've had my ups and downs with, but for me it works pretty good...sometimes, if I use my brain that is.

Let's have a looksie.

My trick room team:

Team Objective: Set up Trick Room and wreck other teams.

Lead Trick Roomer:
180px-097Hypno.png

Hypno (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Insomnia
EVs: 252 HP / 200 Def / 56 SDef
IVs: 0 Speed IVs
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Trick Room
- Protect
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic

My lead trick roomer, Hypno has the ability to block sleep power, hypnosis, sing, etc.. I'm using it because it's perfect for those Pokemon like Venemoth who like to put you to sleep and set up with Quiver Dance. I am also using it as a lead because of it's great defenses.

Mixed Sweeper:

180px-537Seismitoad.png

Seismitoad (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Poison Touch
IVs: 3 Speed
EVs: 232 HP / 76 Atk / 200 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Surf
- Brick Break
- Hidden Power [Grass]

I am surprised as much as all of you who are reading this. I thought this poke was really bad, but I found that it wasn't bad at all and that it was actually kind of good under trick room. I picked the ability Poison Touch because I didn't want to go with Swift Swim (obvious reason is obvious) and I didn't want to go with Water Absorb either because it would've brought me into the Dream World tier and I didn't want that to happen. With 76 evs in attack and 200 in special attack + Life Orb, Toad has destroyed most of what he has touched.

Cleric Trick Roomer:

150px-531Audino.png

Audino (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Regenerator
IVs: 0 Speed
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Ice Beam

Ah.. yes, the Chansey/Blissey wannabe.. Oh how I despise you Audino and your pink fluffiness... Wait.. Why is this thing male? Trap alert anyone? O.o Well anyway, Audino is a defensive beast when it comes to taking hits from both sides (Special Attack/Physical Attack) and can set up Trick room with ease and Wish off damage taken and Heal bell statuses. It's ability to regenerate off damage when it switches out is a big plus imo.

Second Mixed Sweeper:

465Tangrowth.png

Tangrowth (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Regenerator
EVs: 232 HP / 200 Atk / 76 SAtk
IVs: 2 Speed
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Power Whip
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Rock Slide

This is a set that I stole from Smogon... well not really, it's slightly different..well.. okay, yes I did steal it.. I just changed it's nature and ability and so far this Punjabi monster has wrecked so many teams. Power Whip is it's main weapon here and trust me when I say this... This Poke means serious bidnizz under Trick Room.

Third Trick Roomer:

180px-282Gardevoir.png

Gardevoir (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
IVs: 2 Speed
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Will-O-Wisp

This spot was originally taken by Gallade, but he decided that I wasn't his type of trainer and decided to leave. -insertforeverokay.jpghere.- And so I decided to take his sister and she's been working really well... Trace ability is fun to use against Espeons, Xatus, and Magic Guard users... Also Pokes with Intimidate and Flash fire.

Third Mixed Sweeper:

200px-435Skuntank.png

Skuntank (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Aftermath
EVs: 248 HP / 208 Atk / 48 SAtk / 4 Spd
IVs: 0 Speed
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd)
- Sucker Punch
- Explosion
- Flamethrower
- Poison Jab

You stinky son of a -shutyourmouth- This Poke is really cool I loved using him in-game in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum and now I'm finally able to use him on Pokemon Online -Yatta!- This is also a Poke that means serious bidnizz.. his Sucker Punch could be deadly up against foes that aren't expecting it.

I will be back to post a list of threats. Adios.

I suggest you fit in Choice Band Excavalier in there somewhere, perhaps replacing Seismitoad which is somewhat useless with its ability and weak offenses. Excavalier has the perfect stats for Trick Room - base 20 Speed and base 135 Attack and STAB Megahorn kills everything, especially with a Swarm boost.

Ok.... it looks to me like you just put 3 trick room users and 3 sweepers together as i dont see any type synergy what so ever. You need to seriously re-examine the team building process you used and include type synergy and way to beat common threats as you have 3 psychic types! What if your opponent has a scyther? you couldnt even get your trick roomers in safely nevermind set up trick room! And the scyther would run through your team as you have no bug, flying or dark resistances! not even one! You should definetley throw in some steel types like bronzong who can set up trick room and stealth rocks or escavelier who can sweep with trick room in place. And none of your pokemon habve too much offensive prowress. Even though this is a trick room team you still need some speedn especially on a team with monotype trick room users because you probably cant even gwet trick room up...

Sorry if I sound mean, but you seem to be rather new and if i were you I would try to learn more about team building before posting an rmt. I wish you luck! ;)

Yeah my team got wrecked by him the other day. He'd be a good addition to the team. Thanks.

You didn't sound mean at all. I can't use Bronzong because he isn't in the UU tier, but i'll use Excavalier in place of Toad.

Thanks for your advice.

I'd like to recommend Gastrodon to your team, with Trick Room and a possible Storm Drain boost it can absolutely rip stuff up. I'd probably run a mixed set with Earthquake / Surf / Ice Beam / Recover so you can try and hit Chansey.
