Trollin' (Sorta)

Hello, all. After playing Pokémon Online for some time, I have come across various Pokémon that make me want to tear my hair out and throw my laptop against the wall. After saying I was going to for sometime, I finally took the time during free time during school today with a friend to make a truly original, trolly team for OU play. I started playtesting the team as soon as I got access to my computer, and have a 5/10 record with this team. I am looking for feedback on how to possibly make this team better and more trolly. Good luck critiquing, everyone!

TEAM BUILDING PROCESS

So we decided to start with the basics and choose a very trolly Pokémon in it's own right, Special Sweeping Machamp.

Then we thought, "You know what pisses me off? Restalk Gyarados. So he immediately became a member of the team.

Cinccino had always spoken to me as a Pokémon worth using over Ambipom, not worthy of its NU status. So I decided to add it to the team against the advisement of my friend.

I missed this little guy from my good ol' days of playing in-game, so I decided to throw him in as a lead, which aren't seen very often nowadays.

Aaaaaaaaand throw in the generic Scizor because why the hell not.

I then realized a very large weakness to Steel-types such as Ferrothorn and Forretress, so Magnezone was added to the team (with an original moveset of Endure/Protect/Toxic/Thunderbolt before we realized that was crap.)

THE ACTUAL TEAM

Machamp @ Life Orb
Modest
No Guard
4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spd
~Focus Blast
~Vacuum Wave
~Sunny Day
~Fire Blast

Machamp serves as a potent Special sweeper, catching many Pokémon off guard who come in expecting a Physical attacker. Focus Blast and Fire Blast are great moves to have alongside No Guard, and Vacuum Wave serves as a solid priority move that can kill quickly. Sunny Day is there in order to cripple Drizzle teams, who are always very surprised by this move.

Synergy with Teammates:
~ Flying - Magnezone, Golem
~ Psychic - Magnezone, Scizor

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Impish
Intimidate
252 HP / 112 Special Defense / 144 Spd
~Rest
~Sleep Talk
~Dragon Dance
~Dragon Tail

Gyarados serves as a very strong, annoying hazer and entry hazard damage builder-upper. The set is very basic to understand, doesn't require much explanation. Take a hit, Rest, then Sleep Talk your way to victory. EV Spread insures decent outpacing of Pokémon and good bulk overall.

Synergy with Team:
~ Electric - Magnezone, Golem,
~ Rock - Magnezone, Machamp

Cinccino @ Life Orb
Adamant
Technician
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
~ Rock Blast
~Tail Slap
~ Wake-Up Slap
~ Bullet Seed

Cinccino knows what the hell she's doing. She hits hard, breaks subs, and kills everything in sight. On a more realistic note, I'm thinking of switching her out for a Cloyster in order to become more competitive with this team, just sayin'.

Synergy with Team:
~ Fighting - Gyarados

076.png

Golem @ Dark Gem
Adamant
Careful
Sturdy
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def
~ Stealth Rock
~ Sucker Punch
~ Stone Edge
~ Explosion

Golem used to be the Pokémon that I feared most in game, as it would always kill my Pokémon with Selfdestruct or something. I use Golem as a lead to get up Stealth Rock, and then kill something with the Dark Gem boosted Sucker Punch. Thinking of changing the EVs to a different spread, changing Stone Edge to Earthquake, and changing Golem to Forretress.

Synergy with Team:
~ Water - Gyarados
~Fighting - Gyarados
~ Grass - Magnezone, Scizor
~ Ground - Gyarados
~ Ice - Machamp, Scizor, Magnezone

212.png

Scizor @ Choice Band
Adamant
Technician
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
~ Bullet Punch
~Bug Bite
~ Superpower
~ Pursuit

God, I hate these things. But hey, that's why he's on the team, everyone uses him. In fact, he's the reason Machamp carries Fire Blast instead of something else in his massive Special movepool. Standard Scizor set here, not much explaining, cause if you do, you don't deserve to play Pokémon anymore.

Synergy with Team:
~ Fire - Gyarados, Golem

462.png

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Modest
Magnet Pull
4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spd
~ Thunderbolt
~ Hidden Power Fire
~ Flash Cannon
~ Explosion

I've never really used Magnezone before this, my friend recommended it to me while we were making this team. The moves really don't feel right, and neither does the EV spread, so any criticisms are accepted and welcome.

Synergy with Team:
~ Fire - Gyarados, Golem
~ Fighting - Gyarados
~ Ground - Gyarados

So that's my team, everybody. I guess it isn't as trolly as I had made it out to be at the beginning of my post. But oh well, I would appreciate some help as to how to make this team more trolly or how to make it competitively useful, because I think the format of the team has promise in the current metagame.

I'm not very good in changing the members of a team, so I'll check the moves of Machamp. Even being a modest one Machamp's atk is quite huge, even higher than its 252 EVs satk, so you could put Dynamicpunch instead of Sunny Day. I guess a mixed swepper would be even troller than this one since the opponent will not be sure to what expect from it, and the 100% confusion is a factor to keep account.

Okay, I can see where your going with machamp but really, 252 sp.atk max really has nothing on its 394 attak, it would be better as a pyshical attacker and can take down more threats that way, his sp atk. won't allow him to really OHko anything aside from maybe terrakion and scizor (both of whom can just be killed with fire punch or dynamicpunch).

Also Gyrados set look nice, but you might want bounce or waterfall instead of sleep talk (maybe give it a chesto berry, IDK) because if not sleep talk only gives you a one in 3 chance of actually getting to attack.

Magnezone might want sturdy for insured suvival, especially with valcorona, terrakion, etc. being popular these days, and also gives it more of a chance to explosion.

aside from that, everything else looks great. gl with the team.

dang machamp ninja'd

For Magnezone's movepool, I would replace Explosion with Volt Switch. This allows you to switch out when your opponent goes to a counter, allowing you to scout their switch-in and go into a counter of your own. Otherwise this team is definitely trollin. Also could you give some justification for the current EV spread on Scizor? Otherwise, I would just go with 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd as is the standard
