Hey all, here's something neat for all you Xbox 360 gamers. Check it out!
Ever gotten annoyed at achievements that require you to play a game forever (like Seriously... and Seriously... 2.0 for the Gears of War series) that only give you 100 or so points? Well, I was getting pissed off myself, then while reading my OXM magazine I ran across an article on the site. So, I checked it out. Turns out that my gamerscore 'doubles' using this system, and some of my friends who were a few thousand higher than me are now below me! I was impressed because before my buddies would brag about their high gamerscore, but they only got it so high from playing shit like Avatar or other easy games like Harry Potter. My harder acheivements like 1000/1000 on Guitar Hero II were now worth 3x that of a 1000/1000 in Avatar, somewhat justifying the achievement system Microsoft has in place now.
This obviously isn't for everyone, but I thought it might be cool to get some of the xbox 360 gamers on this site on TA if they're into the achievement stuff. Smogon could even create it's own public leaderboard of some sort and have it ranked by only people from the site. I'm @ AdamThorneV2 if anyone gets interested.
PS: I dunno if this would belong in Other Competitive Games since it's not a specific game, but if I've placed this wrong I apologize.
