A Simple Favor
Genre: Comedy, Mystery, Thriller
Description: Shortly after Stephanie, a parenting vlogger, makes new friends with an uptight, upper-class parent at her daughter's school, the latter goes missing and Stephanie takes it upon herself to do the investigating into her whereabouts. It's hard to sum up the tone of the movie, other than to say it's a great and unique blend of humour and tension.

Also, I've been tipped off that another upcoming movie (The Housemaid, starring Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney) invokes a similar vibe, which is a tall task and yet to be confirmed, but I am intrigued!

Parker's Point: It's crazy that they planted the seed for Civil War in The Defenders shows and then none of them were in the movie. Still peak tho.
