Parker's Point: Credit where it's due - casting was on point. I even wanted to raise that kid.

Film: Bugonia
Genre: Dark Comedy, Thriller
Description: An extreme conspiracy theorist and his misguided cousin abduct the CEO of a pharmaceutical company on the suspicion that she is secretly an alien masquerading as one of us, while slowly wiping out the human species.

A very small cast act out this A24-esque plot, and it's exactly the kind of simple, unique and complete story we need more of in theatres in my opinion. Once again, the less you know going into it the better!

Parker's Point: This was literally his OC mashup fanfiction. Had absolutely 0 restraint - 4/10 visuals are kinda cool at points.

Description: Season 2 of this Netflix game show just dropped a couple months back and the full season is now released. 12 players check into The Stag, a beautiful lakeside(?) villa(?) where one is randomly assigned the million dollar prize in a box on their first day, and they must all complete challenges while forming alliances and bluffing their way to being the last member of the house to hold onto the money. In a lot of ways the competition feels like a week-long game of Mafia, for those familiar. It's also hosted by actor Peter Serafinowicz, who I'm a fan of (and the reason I gave it a shot to begin with).
