Actually with that said I shouldn’t be putting this all on realiti cos fairy, IPL, or Psy could be an ability cop too and just fake claimed which is riskier, but I could definitely see that happening since pulsar was the first claim in the game, right?
 
Anyway the revelation that BGB’s abil affects me now makes me less committed to the presence of goons because including that effect makes BGB’s already somewhat weak role a lot weaker if he’s not partnered with an ability cop. If he roleblocks me and I get shot then all he does is prevent town KP or opposing scum from dying, because there’s almost 0 incentive to roleblock + shoot me unless they I guess thought I was specifically jailkeeper or something.

And I didn’t clock that the roleblock didn’t affect factional kill before so on a scum player that’s fairly weak lol. I guess it makes sense since we had jk so that would be a straight up counterclaim otherwise, though

I play mafia to have fun (don’t we all?) and part of that fun is to play wildly each game. Could do with less fluff posts though since that makes for harder to read whole thread and also real life can get in the way more

IPL has claimed tracker + bpv, a combination of two powerful power roles. Celever also has a BPV that broke from bgb which nobody has disproven, and AG most likely did not include two BPVs in the game. IPL tracked bgb n1 nowhere (bgb is the mafia roleblocker) and tracked pulsar n2 nowhere (they are mafia cop). BGB and pulsar have no reason to idle their abilities.

Why are you guys even considering IPL as anything other than scum?????

yeah I mean that's all I've been trying to say. I'm not saying that "oh it's not obv town psy he must be mafia," like I see it as a potential legitimate strategy to skate in the middle. I don't think I'm tunneling. But it's not very useful to argue about what tunneling is so I'll move on.
