^100% Stealth Rock damage when switching in?

Honchkrow
Flying/Ghost
BST: 100/130/95/65/70/110
Abilities: Moxie/Defiant/Guts
New Moves: Shadow Sneak, Shadow Bone, Close Combat
Niche: Fast, physical ghost bird. Aside from Heat Wave, it wasn't really using Special Atk anyway, so I replaced Heat Wave with Close Combat for coverage. Use Shadow Sneak to score a Moxie boost when scoring a KO. If the enemy switches for a Normal type, you can fire off a Close Combat or Brave Bird. Otherwise, Defiant counters Intimidate users while Guts is for burns.

Slurpuff
Flying/Fairy
BST: 90/125/90/85/75/115
Abilities: Regenerator, Unburden, Thick Fat
New Moves: Acrobatics, Brave Bird, Earthquake
Niche: A fast, physical flying Fairy. Can use Unburden + Acrobatics combo. Regenerator to heal off Rocks/Brave Bird damage and maybe for use with Assault Vest/Life Orb. Thick Fat removes Ice weakness.

Drampa
Flying/Normal
BST: 80/60/85/135/100/110
Abilities: No Guard, Berserk, Regenerator
New Moves: Parting Shot, Earth Power, Heal Bell
Niche: Can use No Guard Hurricane, Thunder, Fire Blast or Blizzard. Or go utility with Defog, Heal Bell and Parting Shot.

Flying/Fairy: Samtendo09's Wigglytuff
I don't know if it is really obligatory, but I would advice to vote for any Flying/Ghost submission, otherwise SolarBlade would not count your other two votes.

EDIT: Okay, I am surprised that my two submissions, Toucannon and Wigglytuff, got four votes so far, which more than likely make them winners unless if another submission of the type had caught up. But if they do get to the Hall of Fame, it will be the first time I got two submissions won in one slate.

Yes I just got home. Also it helps that all timezones should have finished that date now when I get home.

Thanks to the voters though! Much appreciated, and thanks for the patience.

Congratulations to Cookie Butter 's Flying/Ghost Mandibuzz and Samtendo09's Flying/Normal Toucannon and Flying/Fairy Wigglytuff!

Now moving on to the next slate:

.:Slate 22:.

Fighting/Water, Fighting/Poison, Fighting/Fairy

Submission Ends: 13th of March

Poliwrath
Type
:

Ability: Water Veil / Swift Swim / HA: No Guard
Old Stats: 90 / 95 / 95 / 70 / 90 / 70
New Stats: 100 / 135 / 110 / 50 / 105 / 70 (BST 570)
Added Moves: Aqua Jet, Stone Edge, Drain Punch
Justification/Niche: Yeah, a No Guard Hypnosis or Dynamic Punch shenanigan! Poliwrath has the speed of Mega Swamp, better typing, potentially always hitting Edgequake and can be immune to burn, so it's very strong and versatile. It's perfect both for a Rain or a TR team, or you can use it with Z-Hypnosis and let it sweep. Some sets:

Poliwrath @ Psychium Z
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly/Adamant Nature
- Hypnosis
- Dynamic Punch
- Waterfall/Aqua Jet
- Ice Punch/Stone Edge/Earthquake

Poliwrath @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: No Guard/Water Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
IVs: 0 Spe
Brave Nature
- Belly Drum
- Aqua Jet
- Dynamic Punch / Drain Punch
- Ice Punch/Stone Edge/Earthquake

Mienshao
Type
:

Ability: Inner Focus / Regenerator / HA: Sheer Force
Old Stats: 65 / 125 / 60 / 95 / 60 / 105
New Stats: 75 / 130 / 60 / 120 / 80 / 105 (BST 570)
Added Moves: Play Rough, Moonblast, Ice Punch
Justification/Niche: The mixed sweeper Mienshao always desired to be. I think this Pokémon is the most fitting to Fairy/Fighting, since it's the only pure Fighting type that is not related directly to brute strength and has some Special Attack. Atk and Spa have been boosted, as well as HPs and SpDef. A setup set is viable, but a Choice with Regen and U-turn is too good. Some sets:

Mienshao @ Choice Band/Scarf
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly/Adamant Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Play Rough
- Stone Edge/Ice Punch/coverage
- U-turn

Mienshao @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid/Modest Nature
- Moonblast
- Focus Blast
- Aura Sphere
- Calm Mind

Samtendo09's Flying/Ghost Toucannon
Ability
: Intimidate | Skill Link | Sheer Force
New Stats: 100 (+20) / 140 (+20) / 110 (+35) / 65 (-10) / 90 (+15) / 65 (+5) (BST 570)
Added Moves: Iron Head, Earthquake, Flare Blitz
Samtendo09's Toucannon was Flying/Normal tho. Anyways, reserving Fighting/Poison Toxicroak, Fighting/Fairy Granbull and Fighting/Water Samurott.

Isn't Keldeo still an OU Pokémon as a Water/Fighting? It would make sort of redundancy if you ask me. Anyways...

Feraligatr
Type
:

Ability: Defiant | Rough Skin | Tough Claws
New Stats: 85 / 135 (+30) / 100 / 64 (-15) / 93 (+10) / 93 (+15) (BST 570)
Added Moves: Fire Fang, Drain Punch, Mach Punch
Justification/Niche: Since Keldeo occupies the Special Sweeping Water/Fighting position, this Feraligatr will remains physical. I originally intend to give it Strong Jaw until I realize that Tough Claws covers even more moves, so I give it Rough Skin to punish contact not-very-effective hits. Nevertheless, it can be a fast sweeper with Dragon Dance or a wallbreaker with Swords Dance, and it got various Abilities to fit in different roles; Defiant since we get more Intimidate users, Rough Skin so that contact users such as U-Turn spammers will not got away with it without some damage, and finally Tough Claws to boost all of Feraligatr's useful contact attacks for more damage, including the newly obtained Fire Fang, Drain Punch and Mach Punch.

Toxicroak
Type
:

Ability: Sheer Force | Dry Skin | Poison Touch
New Stats: 83 / 116 (+10) / 70 (+5) / 116 (+30) / 70 (+5) / 115 (+30) (BST 570)
Added Moves: Fire Punch, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam
Justification/Niche: Toxicroak's new mixed sweeper stats will allow it to fill in any offensive role possible for such stat distribution. Could it be a Set Up sweeper? A Revenge Killer? Or even the less likely but still useful Work Up for proper mixed sweeping? Sheer Force will make the inaccurate Focus Blast or slightly more accurate Gunk Shot into a truck-demolishing bullet with 156 BP, but Vacuum Wave may be a preferable Special Attacking Fighting move. Dry Skin will be a supporter in a Rain Team to get rid of pesky Grass-types better than Pelipper would be able to, and can spread Poison status with Poison Touch which can cripples Pokémon that lacked recovery moves. It got plentiful of weaknesses, so focus on sweeping the opponents. Oh, and it got Fake Out too which works for both Physical and Special moveset, as it can shut down any Focus Sash-Set Up attempt or Sturdy and Multiscale ability.

Bewear
Type
:

Ability: Fluffy | Pixilate | Guts
New Stats: 120 / 125 / 80 / 55 / 90 (+30) / 100 (+40) (BST 570)
Added Moves: Close Combat, Play Rough, Knock Off
Justification/Niche: Bewear's HP, Attack and Defense (the latter backed up by Fluffy) are already good, so I focus on fixing the low Special Defense and Speed. 100 Base Speed isn't all that much in Type Optimization standard, but it will still help outrunning non-Choice Scarf threats such as Landorus-T (only when Bewear switch in does to Intimidate), Tapu Lele and Kyurem-Black. Bewear's Physical movesets is shockingly good, so all I need is to give it the risky Close Combat, the obligatory Physical Fairy-type Play Rough, and Knock Off as both an utility and as a much needed coverage move. With Guts, it will plow thorough walls, but Fluffy may help Bewear to resist contact-spamming threats. Or it can go Pixilate to replace Play Rough with Double-Edge, Return. Not Facade since you obviously cannot run Guts and Pixilate at once.

Not gonna lie here, it's getting less and less fun to do this. Needs something... 'different' to spice it up a bit.

Regardless of my complaining, I'll just get this done and over with for the next 2 weeks. Descriptions may not be fully done.

Pokemon: Feraligatr
Type
: Water / Fighting
Ability: Torrent / Adaptability / Sheer Force (HA)
Old Stats: 85 / 105 / 100 / 79 / 83 / 78 (530 BST)
New Stats: 95 (+10) / 125 (+20) / 100 / 89 (+10) / 53 (-30) / 108 (+30) (570 BST)
Added Moves: Vacuum Wave, Pursuit, Calm Mind
Niche: A Dragon Dancer capable of going mixed, carrying priority on both sides of the spectrum, with a strong offensive typing and two fantastic offensive abilities to match. Feraligatr's main strength comes from access to said Dragon Dance and Sheer Force, granting a massive power increase to his primary STAB move Liquidation, as well as his coverage moves Crunch and Ice Punch. On Mixed sets, Scald, Ice Beam, and Focus Blast get this generosity. He's also capable of Pursuit trapping Pokemon that may fear Feraligatr's raw strength, such as Ghosts. Calm Mind is a niche option on a set to improve his shoddy Special bulk and increase his Special Attack back into strong territory. Speaking of that Special Defense, that's Feraligatr's main weakness - while the rest of his stats are compensated for it, his Special Defense is significantly lacking, meaning any Psychic type or special Flying or Electric type that decides to even glance at him funny will likely knock him senseless. Avoiding these Pokemon and chipping away at the opposing team's walls will keep Feraligatr kicking and healthy.

edit: as im typing this up samtendo has his feraligatr, nuuuu

Pokemon: Garbodor
Type
: Poison / Fighting
Ability: Skill Link / Poison Touch / Filter (HA)
Old Stats: 80 / 95 / 82 / 60 / 82 / 75 (474 BST)
New Stats: 95 (+15) / 125 (+30) / 102 (+20) / 60 / 92 (+10) / 95 (+20) (569 BST)
Added Moves: Defog, Icicle Spear, Thunder Wave
Niche: An odd mix of strength, firepower, and utility makes Garbodor a swiss-army-knife of Pokemon, capable of fufilling many different roles that you may desire out of it, but maybe not to the level of other mons. On the Support side of things, Garbodor's natural bulk and decent speed of 95 hits a tier where he can outspeed most common fatmons and start setting up layers of Spikes, regular or poison, Thunder Wave, Toxic, or Defog hazards away. However, offensively, Garbodor can run Poison Touch to gimmick out Poisons onto opposing Pokemon through Drain Punch sets, or run Skill Link with Icicle Spear, Rock Blast, and Bullet Seed to have free 125 base power coverage moves. However, Cloyster can do the Skill Link job better, with STAB Icicle Spear and Shell Smash, while a myraid of supporting pokemon have the ability to do what Garbodor can to support. However, Garbodor also has access to immunity to Toxic while also threatening out Steels via the possibility of Swords Dance Drain Punch, so teams must always be wary.

Pokemon: Tapu Bulu
Type
: Fairy / Fighting
Ability: Grassy Terrain / Poison Heal (HA)
Old Stats: 70 / 130 / 115 / 85 / 95 / 75 (570 BST)
New Stats: 70 / 130 / 95 (-20) / 75 (-10) / 85 (-10) / 115 (+40) (570 BST)
Added Moves: Drain Punch, Play Rough, Autotomize
Niche: Tapu Bulu gains access to STAB Play Rough, automatically making up for the fact he can't use Grassy Terrain as well anymore. Bulk Up sets now can appreciate Drain Punch as a reliable STAB option and Poison Heal, making Bulu incredibly hard to take out after a boost or two. A swapped around stat spread also makes better use of these options, with Bulu being significantly faster at the cost of some bulk (able to be made up for with PHeal and access to Play Rough.) On the offensive spectrum, Superpower and Play Rough form great coverage, with Stone Edge hitting Flying types that may otherwise resist Drain Punch and not care for Play Rough. Autotomize can set up for danger very quickly late-game with Bulu steamrolling out of control, and Double Dance sets are even scarier. A lack of way to improve its Special bulk barring an Assault Vest hurts, however, same with a weakness to Sludge Bomb/Wave and Iron Head.

I agree with first complain admittedly, but... Haven't Garbodor already won as Steel/Poison?

Pokemon: Breloom
Type: Fighting/Poison
Old BST: 60 / 130 / 80 / 60 / 60 / 70 (460)
New BST: 60 / 130 / 80 / 130 / 80 / 80 (560)
Abilities: Technician / Dry Skin / Simple
New Moves: Vacuum Wave, Acid Spray, Poison Jab
Removed Moves: Swords Dance
Justification/Niche: A mixed attacker with three main sets, one for each ability. With Technician you can run the classic Spore+priority Breloom, with the added possibility of a special set (Vacuum Wave as opposed to Mach Punch, Technician boosted Acid Spray, etc). With Dry Skin, it gets a niche against Water-types, and can fit in Rain teams more easily. With Simple + Growth, its becomes a great mixed wallbreaker after it sets up.

Pokemon: Swampert
Type: Fighting/Water
Old BST: 100 / 110 / 90 / 85 / 90 / 60 (535)
New BST: 100 / 110 / 90 / 85 / 90 / 60 (535) (no change)
Abilities: Torrent / Rough Skin / Contrary
New Moves: Drain Punch, Close Combat
Removed Moves: Superpower
Justification/Niche: It can either run Contrary STAB Close Combat+Hammer Arm and become a tanky sweeper, or run a purely defensive Rough Skin set with Scald, Stealth Rock, Roar and STAB Drain Punch. Either way it's great.

Pokemon: Simipour
Type: Water / Fighting
BST:
65 / 125 / 60 / 125 / 60 / 135
Abilities: Gluttony / Adaptability / Drizzle
New Moves: Close Combat, Aura Sphere, Power Gem
Justification/Niche: With these changes, this old PU mon can finally see some daylight. Access to quite a useful movepool on the physical and special side coupled with amazing abilities in Adaptability and Drizzle and quite amazing offensive stats make this Pokemon an immediate threat for those who fail to prepare for it. Hitting a high speed tier is also good, letting it only be outspeed by a few things.

Pokemon: Drapion
Type: Poison / Fighting
BST:
90 / 115 / 130 / 60 / 115 / 60
Abilities: Intimidate / Filter / Levitate
New Moves: Slack Off, Drain Punch, Spikes
Justification/Niche: A defensive Pokemon who can attack, offers some cool utility like both kinds of Spikes and Whirlwind, and other miscellaneous moves like Swords Dance, Taunt, Recovery, and a cool set of coverage options

Pokemon: Gallade
Type: Fighting / Fairy
BST: 90/132/80/67/95/106 (570)
Abilities: Analytic / Iron Fist (Justified)
New Moves: Play Rough, Mach Punch, Sacred Sword
Justification/Niche: Strong dual STAB is only resisted by Poison types, but its access to Zen Headbutt in combination with Analytic really limits switchins, letting Gallade act as a holepuncher early and mid game. Alternatively, while its speed isn't the highest in this tier, it gets the job done and boosted Mach Punch means that Gallade can attempt to set up a Swords Dance and try to sweep late game once those posion types are removed, especially as many faster mons in the tier are weak to Fighting. Sacred Sword is mostly for flavor, but it could be useful if you want to preserve the decent defensive typing. Gallade has neat support options like Taunt, Destiny Bond and Will-o-Wisp that likely won't see much usage but can still occupy the last slot on an Analytic set.

503.png

Pokemon: Samurott
Type: Water / Fighting
BST: 95/130/90/80/80/95 (570)
Abilities: Hustle / Mold Breaker (Shell Armor)
New Moves: Close Combat, Icicle Crash, Psychic Fangs
Justification/Niche: An extremely powerful wallbreaker, unfortunately it suffers from 4MSS, as like Gallade, its STABs suffer against Poison types, as such it can't comfortably fit Swords Dance in it's moveset. Z- moves bypass accuracy checks and thus synergize well with Samurott, allowing it to bust pass physically bulky targets that it hits neutrally.

Pokemon: Buzzwole
Type: Poison / Fighting
BST: 107/139/139/47/79/59 (570)
Abilities: Beast Boost / Triage
New Moves: Gunk Shot, Knock Off
Justification/Niche: A unique defensive typing in concert with an amazing ability let Buzzwole switch into a variety of physically offensive threats and outspeed fighting weak targets without having to take additional damage or invest in speed. Roost is also buffed by Triage in case Buzzwole needs to recover without using Drain Punch, and its Poison STAB is much more useful than Bug STAB in general. The last moveslot can be used for coverage against Ground, Poisoning or Psychic types - Knock Off acts as a utility move that stings off of Buzzwole's high attack stat.

Type:

BST: 95 (+23) / 120 (+15) / 130 (+15) / 54 / 95 (+9) / 76 (+8) (BST: 570)
Abilities: Tough Claws / Guts / Defiant
New Moves: Close Combat, Aqua Jet
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: Powerful physical attacker with good bulk, access to Shell Smash, and Tough Claws-boosted STAB moves in Close Combat, Liquidation, and Aqua Jet. Stone Edge provides perfect neutral coverage, though it is not boosted by Tough Claws. Barbaracle is also somewhat slow without a Shell Smash, and it hates being statused.

Abilities: Poison Touch / Gluttony / Merciless
New Moves: Recover, Hammer Arm, Bulk Up
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: Specially bulky with decent attack stat, but slow and has lower physical bulk. Can also set up with Bulk Up, which helps its physical bulk while increasing its damage. Probably could do well with Trick Room, but it has an exploitable 4x Psychic weakness. Its movepool contains the elemental punches, which provide great coverage with its STAB moves.

New Moves: Close Combat, Drain Punch, Play Rough
Removed Moves: N/A
Justification/Niche: Great STAB coverage with access to Iron Fist-boosted elemental punches and Drain Punch. Fast but somewhat low physical bulk.
